No Cease-Fire

Remove Hez-bollah’s missiles–or destroy them.
by Benjamin Netanyahu, July 23, 2006

Jerusalem–Some 44 years ago, when Soviet missiles in
neighboring Cuba threatened American cities, John F. Kennedy
set one goal and ultimately prevailed in achieving it: Remove the
missiles. Today, when Israel’s cities are pummeled by Hez-bollah
missiles launched from neighboring Lebanon, our goal should be
the same: Remove the missiles. Or destroy them.

Any arguments?
I didn’t think so.

“With anti-American sentiment at unprecedented levels around the world, Americans worried about their country’s low standing are pushing a grassroots campaign to change foreign perceptions of the United States “one handshake at a time.”

Anti-Americanism prompts push for “citizen diplomacy” continues…

The idea is to turn millions of Americans into “citizen diplomats” who use personal meetings with foreigners to counter the ugly image of the United States shown in a series of international public opinion polls. They show widespread negative attitudes not only toward U.S. policies but also toward the American people and, increasingly, even American products..

Distaste for America runs so deep that, for example, at the recent World Cup in Germany the American team was the only one asked not to display its national flag on the team bus. In South Korea, traditionally a U.S. ally, two-thirds of people under 30 said in a recent poll that if there were war between North Korea and the United States, they would side with North Korea.

BDA, whose board includes executives from Exxon and McDonald’s, last May began distributing a “World Citizen’s Guide” to corporate travelers with 16 tips to change the behavior patterns that have earned Americans a boorish reputation in the first place.”

Deeeeep breath Angel.

16 Tips to change our behavior so others will er…like us?

Just who are these haters with attitudes and actions which are overtly hostile to my government, my culture, and most especially my brothers and sisters: the people of the United States of America?..and er……..
Why exactly do I need them to like me?

Oh yes, I must gain the unconditional approval of those who fling stereotypes, prejudices and criticisms towards Americans while in the same breath accuse us of being the most racist, arrogant country on the planet.

Let’s be real people.
Anti-Americanism represents a distinct ideological trend and current.

Heck, it’s an “ism.”

I reckon the haters have conveniently overlooked the unparallelled growth of and access to higher education in this land.

Or perhaps, the opportunities available to all citizens regardless of their gender, economic circumstances or race.

Or the fact that millions are trying to move to, relocate to or sneak into this very land so many allegedly abhor.

Maybe, tis our “principles” they detest.
Ya think?

After all , speaking of “isms”, there are several we proud Americans are not too fond of.

For one…….Totalitarianism is abhorrent to us “arrogant” Americans.
Come to think of it, wer’e not too fond of communism or terrorism either.

Yup, I admit it.
Most true blooded Americans can’t stand a tyrant.

We also have little use for governments who enslave their own people, most especially women and children. ok?

And some of us are actually altruistic enough to believe that should we should keep fighting until every person on God’s green earth is living under the light of freedom that we are blessed to share here in the U.S. of A.

So er…….sorry but no apologies or “nice nice” from me. girlaff.gif

And to all those who still need to play the political correctness game…
perhaps instead of trying to win over the whiney foreigners that hate ya…remind them instead that, here in America, we are family and if you mess with our allies and friends, or even commit unspeakable crimes against your own people, well…… then you may just find yourself looking down the barrel of an M-16 with an American Marine on the other end.
And trust me, ..he won’t be happy.

Protecting the BordeR

“Shortly before midnight, the soldiers of the Golani Brigade’s 13th Battalion, Company A gathered a few meters from the Lebanese border. In a few minutes, they were due to cross the border and join the battle, like their comrades in 51st Battalion, who fought in Bint Jbail on Wednesday and sustained fatalities.

“It’s our turn now,” said Captain Ori Lavie. “It’s our turn to protect the border. And we’ll carry out any mission we need to, against any force, in the best way possible. If we don’t, we have no right to exist.”

Excited and armed from head to toe, the young soldiers listened, hanging onto every word he uttered….

‘Those who cannot protect their freedom do not deserve it’ continues…

“We will not lose this war,”… “We did not start it, but it’s our duty to protect the Jewish nation and see to it that the residents of Metula and Haifa can live in peace. If we don’t do it, no one will. We waited 2,000 years for our own state, and we won’t fold because a group of terrorists think that they can scare us.”
“Someone who cannot protect his freedom does not deserve it,”

..Before the commander’s briefing, military rabbis distributed volumes of Psalms and offered a prayer before battle.”

The infidels have been given 2 clear cut choices.
If you are not a Muzlim, you are their dhimmi.
You may:
1. remain subjugated to Izlam for all eternity or

2. Fight back and maintain control of your country and your very life.

Apparently, according the United Nation of Haters, the Mainstream Media Monsters and the self hating left wing Liberals, Lebanon is the victim here. No mention of the fact that they can’t even defend themselves, or govern themselves for that matter.
They are clearly the whipping boy of Syria and Hezbullahbullah.

So g’head Hezbullahbullah, bring out ya best “Rambos”..
because, this time Israel is NOT backing down.

And as for the Lefty libs bemoaning the victimhood of the savage killers…
Israel won’t be your whippin boy….So hey……
Let the teeth gnashing begin.

UnitY Amongst Terrorists

“TEHRAN, Iran – Surrounded by yellow Hez-bollah flags, more than 60 Iranian volunteers set off Wednesday to join what they called a holy war against Israeli forces in Lebanon.

Iranian volunteers set off for Lebanon continues..

Other volunteers, such as 72-year-old Has-an Hon-avi, have combat experience from the 1980-88 war with Iraq.

Some bowed before a memorial to Hez-bollah-linked suicide bombers who carried out the 1983 blast at Marine barracks in Beirut that killed 241 U.S. servicemen.

“We cannot stand by and watch out Hezbollah brothers fight alone,” said Kom–eil Bar-adaran, a 21-year-old Basiji member. “If we are to die in Lebanon, then we will go to heaven. It is our duty as Mus–lims to fight.”

So just what are the forces that naturally bind a people together as a society or nation.

A sense of shared commitment, a common ideology,a mission?
Common cultural history. Perhaps.
But America is a nation whose ancestry includes every people on much tribal or cultural similarities even exist?

There is the Judeo-Christian ethic. The oneness of humanity is the pivot round which revolve all the teachings of religion.
But most have abandoned faith and ritual. Have they not?

But what is one of the strongest forces which unify a people?
The threat of an external enemy.

And while we may dream or even pray for demilitarization of the whole civilized world , it was WWI and WWII which served to unify this country.

C’mon people.
72 year old terrorists are volunteering to aid the “cause”, and wer’e still at home bickering with one another…..

Change is up to the individual.
That means you, and me, my sweet friend, because the transformation of a whole country depends on the efforts and changes of the individuals who compose it.

Look at the situation with new eyes my friends.
It’s high time to put the “united” back into the “United States of America.”

What’s DecenT?

Wednesday, July 26th, 2006

“I believe the Left has been wrong on virtually every great moral issue in the last 30 years.
Israel’s war separates the decent left from the indecent left
By Dennis Prager

During that period, it was wrong on the Cold War — it devoted far more energy to fighting anti-communism than to fighting communism.

It was wrong for attacking Israel for its destruction of Saddam Hussein’s nuclear reactor.

It was wrong on welfare.

It was wrong in its demanding less morally and intellectually from black Americans than from all other Americans.

It was wrong in advocating bilingual education for children of immigrants.

It was wrong in generally holding American society rather than violent criminals responsible for violent crime.

It was wrong in imposing its view on abortion on America through the courts rather than through the democratic process.

It was wrong in teaching a generation of men and women that men and women differ because of socialization not because of innate sex differences.

It was wrong in reducing sex to a purely biological and health issue for a generation of young Americans.

It was wrong in identifying “flag waving” with fascism.

It was wrong in supporting the teachers’ unions rather than students and educational reform.

It was wrong in allying itself with trial lawyers and blocking tort reform.

It was wrong in blocking the military from recruiting on campuses and teaching a generation of young Americans that “war is not the answer” when war is at times the one moral answer.

It was wrong in arguing that America is not based on Judeo-Christian values, but on secular ones like Western Europe.

It was wrong in advancing multiculturalism, which is an extreme form of moral relativism that holds all cultures morally identical and which is a doctrine designed to undermine American national identity.

In just about every instance, one could say that the Left was foolish, the Left was naive, the Left was wrong, even that the Left was dangerous. But in all of those cases, one could imagine a decent person holding any or even all of these positions.

But we now have a bright line that divides the decent — albeit usually wrong — Left from the indecent Left.

The Left’s anti-Israel positions until now were based, at least in theory, on its opposition to Israeli occupation of A-rab land and its belief in the “cycle of violence” between Israel and its enemies. However, this time there is no occupied land involved and the violence is not a cycle with its implied lack of a beginning. There is a clear aggressor — a terror organization devoted to Isl-amicizing the Middle East and annihilating Israel — and no occupation.”

What has become of the “morality” put forward by American society and what of the guidelines we once shared for the behavior of our people in American society.

We once shared the Judeo-Christian ethic. We chose days which are devoted to certain rituals, Sabbath and Sunday, which we based on the commands of God.
We once shared rational ideas of how to minimize the harms that people suffer, the fair punishment for crime, which we based on reason and common sense.

Sex “offenders” were not permitted to live in our midst.

We once shared common perceptions of what was known as “etiquette”.
We may have applied these norms to behavior that is considered less serious than the kinds of actions to which morality usually applies, but nonetheless, politeness and respect were seen as crucial to a functioning society.

What we bear witness to on the left leaning side of the world..or the Liberalism of the day… a morality of ethical egoism, namely, the view that one ought to take one’s own self-interest as the overriding guide to behavior.

In other words, one ought to do what is in one’s own self-interest, although a distinction should be made between what is really in one’s self-interest and what is only apparently so?

What do you suppose results when people are solely motivated by their own interests and desires?

Just remember sweet friends, The very term egoism derives from the word “ego,” the Latin term for the English word “I”.

People act for a myriad of reasons.
The question is:
For whom, or what, should someone act?
Soley for themselves?
for God?
or for the good of the world as they see it?

Perhaps, before one acts at all, one should ask oneself if his or her act is “morally praiseworthy”.

Self interest is not inherently evil.

It can even be applauded if it leads to the betterment of society as a whole.

Will society benefit as a result of your behavoir?

After all, my friends………
Altruism is the opposite of egoism.

“The four United Nations peacekeepers killed in an Israeli attack on their outpost were required to stay at that post “until they were ordered by the [U.N.] secretary general to withdraw,” said a member of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization on Wednesday.

But the peacekeepers apparently never received such an order, despite the fierce cross-border fighting that erupted in southern Lebanon two weeks ago.

Kofi Annan Could Have Ordered Peacekeepers to Leave continues..

Israel does not target the U.N. or civilians, Israeli government spokesman Eisen told Fox & Friends on Wednesday. “It was a very sad and regretful mistake, and we will do our utmost to inquire into how this happened,” she said.

Further complicating the situation is the rocky relationship between Israel and the United Nations.

Israel has long complained about the failure of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in southern Lebanon, accusing some peacekeepers of siding with Israel’s enemies.

In Oct. 2000, three Israeli soldiers were kidnapped by Hiz-ballah in a cross-border ambush that happened under the noses of United Nations peacekeepers.

And many Israelis harbor a deep distrust of the U.N. in general, given years of anti-Israeli resolutions, including the controversial 1975 “Zionism equals racism” resolution..

And Kofi claims it was a “deliberate” assault by Israel.

Can you play the “blame game”?

Sure you can. It’s simple.
It consists of one entity assigning responsibilly for an action or event to another entity.

The perks are you get to divert responsibility from yourself. But while this game is universally observed in children, mentally healthy adults tend to “outgrow” it.

Kofi and the entire A-rab world still sees the need for “He did it”, “She did it”..oh heck..THEY all did it!”

When do they ever reach……..”I’m sorry, I did it.” crying.gif

“Messages of solidarity with Israel are coming from delegations visiting the country, as well as from rallies overseas. Even US troops in Iraq have expressed their support. …
Grassroots Support for Israel From Abroad continues..

Christian Zionist individuals and groups are also expressing their support for Israel at this time. Some hotels in the north of the country reported that they have seen a few Christian Zionist pilgrims who refuse to be scared away by the Is-lamist attacks.

US-based Christian broadcaster Earl Cox is calling on Christians across America to join him in prayer at the Western Wall in Jerusalem beginning on Sunday, July 30. In a statement, Cox said, “Our Jewish brothers and sisters need friends now more than ever before since becoming a nation in 1948.

Christians must put prayer boots on the ground in Israel to fight the spiritual war being waged against Israel, while Israel fights the physical war….

flag israel us small.jpg

American soldiers stationed in Iraq have also sent messages of support and encouragement to the IDF via a new web site established to express solidarity with Israel.

“Take care of the Hizbullah; we will take care of Iran,” wrote one US soldier. Another wrote, “From Iraq, we wish good tidings for you brave IDF soldiers. The American army is 100 percent for Israel.”

Now, that’s what I’m talkin about!

“NABATIYEH, Lebanon — An Israeli bomb destroyed a U.N. observer post on the border in southern Lebanon, killing two peacekeepers and leaving two others feared dead in what appeared to be a deliberate strike, U.N. chief Kofi Annan said…”
Israeli Airstrike in Lebanon Kills Two U.N. Peacekeepers, Two Missing continues……

At least 70 rockets were fired at northern Israel, and a teenage girl was killed and three other people were injured in the Arab town of Maghar.

One rocket fired at the Israeli port city of Haifa hit a bus, another hit a house and two reportedly struck close to a hospital, injuring five people, witnesses and doctors said. One man died of a heart attack while running to a bomb shelter, Israel Radio said.

Rockets also hit the towns of Kiryat Shemona, Nahariya, Tiberias, Acre and Safed.”
Excuse me Kofe….were THOSE deemed “deliberate” by any chance?

What appeared to be a deliberate strike, Kofi spews.

Deliberate eh?
Appears to whom Kofe?
Self proclaimed “Ambassadorsssss” like you frinstance?
The ones who sit on the edge of their seats waiting to condem the sinister, Mooooooooohammad-rejecting American and Israeli infidels?

Or the apartheid Zionist conspiratorial, Hepatitis C plague-spreading, Middle Ages well-poisoning, money lending Joooooos?

I have a novel idea.
Howza bout we wait for the facts.
