Remember The Israeli soldier who jumped on a grenade to save his comrades?

Until this week, most of the soldiers killed in the fighting were young, single men or officers with young wives and small children such as Major Ro’i Klein.

According to his soldiers, Klein, 31, said the Shema prayer as he jumped on a Hizballah grenade during the course of a battle, giving his life to protect his soldiers. He leaves a wife and two small sons.

A student has been suspended from school in America for coming to class dressed as a pirate.

But the disciplinary action has provoked controversy – because the student says that the ban violates his rights, as the pirate costume is part of his religion.

…says that he follows the Pastafarian religion, and that as a crucial part of his faith, he must wear ‘full pirate regalia’ as prescribed in the holy texts of Pastafarianism.

The school, however, say that his pirate garb was disruptive.

Pastafarians follow the Flying Spaghetti Monster …and believe that the world was created by the touch of his noodly appendage. Furthermore, they acknowledge pirates as being ‘absolute divine beings’, and stress that the worldwide decline in the number of pirates has directly led to global warming.

Vandals are compounding the grief of a Tri-state soldier’s family.

Not even 24-hours after Private First Class Tim Hines’s wife and family said goodbye at his funeral, American flags that had adorned their Fairfield yard were piled beneath a car and burned.

Hines’ sister-in-law woke up to hear her car alarm around 5:30 a.m. and saw her car on fire.

As firefighters brought the fire under control they discovered a pile of around 20 American flags underneath the car.

Neighbors say Hines’ wife’s family had flags line their front yard and on the porch.

Those were taken as well as flags in neighboring yards.

Hines was injured in Iraq and flown to Walter Reed Hospital in the Washington, D.C. area, but succumbed to the injuries before he could return home.

Hines’ wife Katy is eight-months pregnant with their second child. She buried her husband on Friday.

Katy Hines had just moved back into her parents’ home and woke up to find her sister’s car consumed by flames.

Investigators believe the flags piled underneath were used to start the fire..

Ah yes.

Jerusalem.. - A Pale–stinian woman was caught trying to smuggle three crocodiles from Egypt into the Gaza Strip via Rafah Border Crossing, it was revealed Sunday.

… spokeswoman for EU BAM, which monitors the border as part of an agreement between the Pale–stinian Authority and Israel, said that the smuggler tried to cross Thursday into Gaza with the three crocodiles taped to her upper body.

Scarves for Solidarity, an event organized by the women of the Mus–lim Student Organization at MU, took place Thursday on MU campus.

The event encourages non-Mus–lim women to cover their hair for a day to show solidarity with Muslim women and to learn a little about life as an American Mus–lim.

German Judge Condemned for Citing Qur–an

BERLIN — Politicians and Mus–lim leaders denounced a German judge for citing the Qur–an in her rejection of a Mus–lim woman’s request for a quick divorce on grounds she was abused by her husband.

Judge Chri—sta Datz-Win–ter said in a recommendation earlier this year that both partners came from a “Moroccan cultural environment in which it is not uncommon for a man to exert a right of corporal punishment over his wife,” according to the court. The woman is a German of Moroccan descent married to a Moroccan citizen.

After all, so what if he beats and pummels his wife.
If the Ko-ran says it’s kewl, who are we to judge eh.

I think wer’e all suffering from Muzlim Sympathy Fatigue.
