Get inna kitchen and try it~!

Toss some Hummus and pickles on the side…and mmmmmmmmmm..Heaven on Earth~!

Roll up yer sleeves…………Grab a couple of lbs. of dark chicken cutlets, and cut them into smaller pieces.

Ok..You got the tough part over with.

Now for the marinade ….

You shall need:

-1/2 cup olive oil
-1/2 tsp turmeric (that cool yellow stuff)
-Toss in about ¼ tsp cumin if ya like spicey….woooooooo.
1/2 tsp onion powder
-1/2 tsp garlic powder
-1/4 tsp ginger

-a splash of salt (always optional)

Now all ya gotta do is:
Mix the oil with spices.

You can put the mishmash and the cutlets in a ziploc if you like…
Marinate for 1 hour in the fridge if ya wanna the flavah to ‘pop’.

You can bake them at 425 for 15-20 minutes,

or if you prefer…toss them onna grill for about 10 minutes ..and Wala!

Ur done!

Add some fries………ahhhhhhh.

Toss it all into a pita if you please …grab your favorite wine……….

Dig in and forget your woes.

By all means………Clue in the sweet children who refused to leave my side till all the names had been read because their father’s name began with a “W”.

Inform the amazing people who simply came to remember the sacrifice of all the workers, the first responders who tried to save them, the New York City firefighters, New York City police, passengers and crew members on the planes.

Break the news to those who came to honor the memory of all the soldiers who wound up fighting wars that began…. right here.

It was part of the New York skyline for 30 years, a sight I took in without a second thought.

How many of you had the chance to feel the elation from the view from the “Top of the World” observatory and the legendary “Windows on the World”?

How many of you dined, shopped or worked in the concourse?

Knowing me like y’all do……You know I shopped there.

I looked up at those Towers to orient myself as did thousands of others.
And now they are gone.

My sore and aching memories of working at Ground Zero for months and months – are awakened.
