So someone please make some sense out of this for me eh?
US to Israel: No financial aid for war
Washington has let Jerusalem know that for now Israel should not expect any financial aid to help defray the cost of the war in Leb-anon, The Jerusalem Post has learned.
According to sources in Jerusalem, the government was considering requesting US aid - one report estimated a request of $2 billion - to help pay the cost of the war. There was talk in Washington of a large-scale financial package to help rebuild southern Leb-anon, and in the process keep the Iranians out of the process. Israel was apparently hoping to fold its aid request into this package.

No money for the victims of terror.
But now this:
Bush pledges $230m in Lebanon aid
President George W Bush has announced that the US is to boost its aid package to Leb-anon to $230m (£121m).
The money would be used to help rebuild Leb-anese homes and infrastructure, he told reporters at the White House.

Maybe it’s just me.
Does this “add up”?..and someone please remind me,

Angel:
This is part of a continuing pattern. From open borders, to prosecuting our own agents (see 8/21/06 Guard the Borders Blogburst), to the trials of our Marines, the second term of the Bush Administration is a mere shadow of the first. Seems the Dept. of Defense keeps losing ground to the State Dept. and the PC RINO’s are taking over.
What are you gonna do? The Dems are worse.

This is disgusting, our Conservatives have became tools of the Islamofacists.
I don’t know about anyone else but me thinks it’s time to call out all of our militia and forceably take over control of our renegade political governement.

Is this all because we don’t wish to infuriate our new friends the Iraqis?
I’m beginning to think there is a big disconnect between the government (the people’s servants) and the people they are supposed to be serving. The last time this happened there was a tea party in Boston to celebrate the message and send one back!

I hate to say it, but in reality it’s not $230 million for Lebanon, it will be $230 million for Hezbollah, in addition to all the money they are getting from Iran and Syria and, and, and…
When I heard the words come of out Bush’s mouth, I could have thrown a pie at him. Stupid Stupid Stupid. The term that comes to mind is from Katrina and New Orleans, STUCK ON STUPID!

I’m starting to regret my vote in 2004… It seems that it was wasted no matter how I would’ve cast it!
WTF does he think will happen with that money? And what a bad friend we are: Selling out Israel for the approval of those oil thumping thugs!

I am heartsick at the impending reality that we conservatives will be glad to rid the White House of Bush as the rabid leftists. The man has lost his way, but at least Congress will have to approve the aid package — and that’s no sure thing as this is an election year. Good catch, Angel.

Let’s Make a Deal - Terrorism Edition…
Let’s Make A Deal seems to be the game that the entire world is playing now, the end prize for each nation is survival. The price for losing is too great to contemplate and some here in the United States…
