Former veep says president emphasizes ‘ vengeance,’ ‘brimstone’.

“Former Vice President Al Gore has compared President Bush’s Christian faith with fundamentalist Is–lam, saying it emphasizes “vengeance” and “brimstone.”

In an interview with the New Yorker, Gore, who says he’s a Southern Baptist, expressed disdain for Bush’s public declaration of his faith..

Gore: Bush faith akin to fundamentalist Is–lam continues…
It’s a particular kind of religiosity,” he told the magazine. “It’s the American version of the same fundamentalist impulse that we see in Saudi Arabia, in Kashmir, in religions around the world: Hindu, Jewish, Christian, Musl–im. They all have certain features in common.”

Wonder what the 59 million who cast ballots for President Bush in 2004 would have to say bout that one eh?

Yea. Lots in common.
Here comes the splash of cold water Al.
Killing civilians. Hijacking planes and flying them into bldgs..Ding Ding!
Cutting off hands, yanking out tongues, lobbing off heads.

Yes. I’m beginning to see the theological sameness here.
Global Ji——–had. Oh yes, Christians and Jews, those death-cult radicals ,are staunch believers in that as well…..NOT.

Right. And don’t forget the theological credos of dh-immi, dar –al h-arb, jiz–ya and all the other dogmas of intolerance that other religions DON’T share in common with them.

Oh. oh. I nearly forgot the lovely ritual of raising children to be sha–hids to murder the in-fidels..(namely Christians and Jews). oops..none of that in the Judeo-Christian ethic either.

Moving right along.
How bout a little historical context Al?

A religion who has a history of conquest by the sword and decimations of whole civilizations AND genocides…
See any parallels there?..No, me either.

In fact, Al, any proposed similarities would actually require heavy doses of historical ignorance, delusion, medication or some bizzare fantasy.

The Gorians are a dangerous breed. They are characterized by a fundamental lack of empathy for their own.

They can abide humiliating our troops, even undermining our very security as a Nation, but can’t stomach telling the truth about our sworn enemies.

They perceive their needs to the exclusion of all others. And their need is “power”.

Similarities between Christians, Jews, and Izlamists..thats nothing short of laughable. bomb0.gif

In the past five elections in the Middle East , Izlmao-facist,fundamentalists were brought into power, with an animus against the U.S. and Israel.

Ideals such as freedom, tolerance, pluralism, individual rights, and womens rights that American soldiers die for….Hmmm.

Perhaps he needs to re-read his Izlamic bible.
On second thought…maybe not…

After all his true fuel and fury comes from sheer ignorance.
Why ruin a good thing?

    Gore is such an idiot!

Excellent post title, by the way!

If the militant moderate Muslims nuked New York tomorrow, and we had our own Hiroshima event, the Democrats would tell us we deserved it because of our foreign policy, support for Israel, and our religiousness.

Al Gore is a real person? I thought he was just a Simpson’s character!

Good for you Angel, for pointing out more of Algore’s idiocy.

If it were possible to pull his brains out of his ears and stuff his head with straw he would be so much smarter than he is now!

Gore is in Oz now and making a fool of himself.
He’s selling his doomsday day theory here.

Last time I checked, President Bush wasn’t going around beheading people with dull knives while they begged for their lives.

Doesn’t Gore understand that this moral equivalence crapola will confuse some people at a time when clarity is most needed?

We are at war with people who have told us that we either convert to THEIR brand of fanatical Islam or they will kill us.

Hey Gore: How about you devote at least HALF the energy you expend bashing Bush and use it to help rally the nation to win this war?

Why don’t you try rooting for our side for a change you sour puss.

It’s funny how libs like Gore like to assert that the Judeo-Christian worldview is the same as that of the Islamofascist. Well, if that’s true, and we know libs like Gore like to coddle Islamofascists and excuse everything they do, and placate their every wish, where are our goodies, huh?? I’m holding my breath…

Also, why is it we can’t call Islamofascists “Islamofascists” who rape, pillage, murder, and ethnic cleanse in the name of Mo and Al because it’s mean spirited, but libs can call Bush and every conservative (neocon or real) who does not commit any of the above a nazi and it’s not mean spirited.

I can’t figure out of these libs are intellectually dishonest or just illiterate.

Gore, fails to explain that his fundamentalist eco-religion is the one seeking to take over the world, through fear and intimidation. Kyoto was merely a passing of the collection basket.

  9. Middle America says:

In the liberals mindset, they are fence strattling and neutral. Any religion other than the liberal view is considered radical. They simply put all faith together in order to make themselves feel better.

They have continued with this diatribe so long, they actually believe it. This in itself is sad.

Hey, get off of Gore’s case! Why, if he hadn’t given us this Internet, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation! :-D

For those of you on the left, that was sarcasm.

Gore wants to stop Global Warming so that the Jihadists who are left after the nuclear war they invoke will have less temperture changes to deal with.

Speaking of Global Warming, I have the answer: NASA builds a giant space bucket, fills it with water, and dumps it on the sun, cooling it off. It’ll work right?

So let me get this straight. Gore, who says he is a Southern Baptist, is declaiming Christian fundamentalism. I thought that all Southern Baptists were fundamentalists, according to the left. So is Al just trying to be to the SBs, what Kennedy is to the Roman Catholics? Then again, neither church has the courage to excommunicate these two psuedo-Christians for being horrid witnesses.

  16. Wordsmith says:

It is absolutely preposterous to anyone actually paying attention, comparing President Bush’s faith to that of religious nuts who are intolerant of other faiths. What an absolutely pathetic moron. Where is the evidence, other than the same media-pushed image; the same kind that wants to call Bush stupid. It’s based on what?! Nothing but nonsense by kool-aid drinkers who want to believe in anything negative about him.

  17. DL says:

This charade is best viewed through the comical lens of the fiery “black Baptist preachers” role that Gore morphes into when he speaks in Black Baptist Churches – Amen brothers and sisters!

  18. N.B. Goldstein says:

Gore’s right. Last week when I was in shul, the Rabbi was talking about kidnapping ten Christians in the name of Abraham. We were supposed to cut off their heads on camera, but we couldn’t get Spielberg to direct – he’s got a bisl of a project going on in Floriday right now. It’s so humid – how does he work down there?

So we just stuffed them with knishes and sent them on the their way.

    Jews are very dangerous.
