Muslim Anti-Semitism? No Prob Bob

yarmulke

Israelis crossing border asked to deposit yarmulkes on entering Muslim country (‘for security reason’)
No yarmulkes allowed in Jordan

An Israeli businessman who visits Jordan often was amazed when he was asked to leave his yarmulkes in a safe on his most recent visit to the country. “We know tefillin are confiscated and we recently heard brimmed hats were being taken, so we came with regular hats,”…

Ah yes..wonderfully enlightened Jordanians..the ahem..”moderate Muzlims..”
Uh huh.

bomb-kidani

What, you ask– do the Jews who live there do? Oh right, Jews don’t live there.

sm-neener1

A small headcovering worn by Jewish men is not even remotely comparable with the burka or hijab which..um…. completely disguises women, or men who have committed acts of terror wearing them……But why quibble over details eh?

Security risk anyone?
muz-veil

Tefillin are confiscated.
Imagine confiscating a prayer mat from a Muzlim…anywhere on planet Earth.

Any Leftard rallies and threats to boycott Jordan because of flat out anti-semitism?

Oh, and Are gansta baseball caps censored too?

I got a spiffy idea:
Don’t go to Jordan.

They’re lucky they’re not askin Jews to wear Yellow Stars: again:

yell-owstar

History also informs us that from 717 onward, Jews were subject to this oppressive treatment in other Islamic societies.

For example, in 807 the Persian Abbassid Caliph Harun al-Rashid ordered Jews to wear a yellow belt. Later, in 815 another Persian ruler, Caliph Al-Mutavallil issued a yellow badge edict.

The most humiliating example is found in a letter from Baghdad describing decrees regulating Jewish clothes: “…two yellow badges [are to be displayed], one on the headgear and one on the neck. Furthermore, each Jew must hang round his neck a piece of lead with the word dhimmi [a social status given to tolerated infidels] on it. He also has to wear a belt round his waist. The women have to wear one red and one black shoe and have a small bell on their necks or shoes.”

The incident closest in time to the Nazi period occurred between 1315—1326 when Emir Ismael Abu-I Walid forced the Jews of Granada to wear a yellow badge.

Muslims Force Jews to Wear the Yellow Jewish Star

You think it’s only Jews that Muzlims hate?

Think again:

Not only Jews were killed during the Holocaust.

Gypsies, Catholics, homosexuals and the mentally ill were also seen
by the Nazis as ‘undesirables’ that needed to be exterminated.

Nearly a half a million gypsies died in the Holocaust.

So I’m guessin these dudes better stay outta Jordan too:

Great post, Angel. The antics of these creeps never ceases to amaze me.
Hope you are having a nice fall season, it’s getting cold out!

JORDAN!!!! didn’t he retire from basketball a few ago..
Question of the day…Can a Jew wear Air Jordan’s with a Skullcap in Saudi Arabia???
Seriously, all kidding aside…Okay not all…but do you think there will be a problem when the Israeli Defense Force comes in to save the Jordanian behind, they will worry about the head-covering??????

  3. The Conservative Lady says:

Thank you for the history lesson. We need to be reminded of these atrocities once in a while to bring us back to reality.

  4. Jen says:

Hitler was not a Muslim. Of course I do not support the confiscating of the head coverings, but blaming all Muslims (especially for things they didn’t even do) is no more acceptable than hatred of Jews.

If a yarmulke is a security risk, then Lady Gaga’s outfits are like a boatload of nuclear missles.

  6. Krystal says:

I wrote a post some time back about people having to remove a cowboy hat but a muzzie can go on with a burqua.

    Have a good laugh:

WW II–the King of Denmark wore the yellow starred armband after the Germans demanded that all Danish Jews be identified-

The King encouraged all Danish citizens to do the same-thus- the Nazis could not single out the Jewish inhabitants…
The majority of the Danes followed their King’s example…the Jews were safe in Denmark-
Oh that we had such leaders today to stand against the threats of terrorists–
Makes me proud to be 1/2 Dane!!
Keep telling it like it is – my Patriot friend…

This is yet another example of the hypocrisy. Similar to our left, they demand of others what they refuse to grant themselves.

    Muslim Anti-Semitism? “No Prob Bob”.

Dang, I thought you’ze was gunna talk about Baghdaddy Gangsta Bob and what a good job we dun takin the men of the hooded women out.

Surprise, it is always a good thang to read past the headlines and yep since I ain’t no liberal, I jumped past the headline and read the rest of what the story wuz about. Lo and behold I learnt sumptim agin.

Being what I am I had concluded that them there little caps were for keepin the scalp of balding men safe from the sun. The Middle East iz one hot place, huh! Lo and behold the pics you posted were of men who got a full head of hair, ok the Dalai Lama don’t count it’s a religious thing for him and Obummer man don’t have any hair on his.

I figger iffen a man can openly wear something that admits he has to keep himself reminded of what he is, yah gotta give the dude credit and respect his self awareness.

Yep I ain’t headed to Jordan any time soon. I wear a John Deere cap cuz it is a constant reminder I am a redneck and I come from a long line of folks that fear G-d and the way he made me. Lottsa places don’t let me in and gosh dang it, I’m a betta man for it.

Angel, you folks got any of them yarmulkes that fit over the mouth. I got the failing of being a man that talks a way too much.

    ;-)

    “Ah yes..wonderfully enlightened Jordanians..the ahem..”moderate Muzlims..””

It’s pretty sad to see this from Jordanians, who are actually the most moderate muslims in the Middle East. And they clearly are NOT moderate. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – islam is a bad thing.

  11. silverfiddle says:

Is there really such a thing as a moderate Muslim?

  12. Debbie says:

Oh Angel, that pic of Obama is something else.

  13. Nickie Goomba says:

When obama goes to the Middle East, does he bow to everybody ‘just in case…’?

  14. Bob Mack says:

That picture of IslamObam never fails to impress…the presidential bearing and the sense of what the old Romans called “gravitas”…if you stare at it too long, it almost makes you want to run out and apologize for something.

  15. z says:

WOW, Jordan showing their open hearted acceptance again, huh?
They should be ashamed of themselves.

  16. Brooke says:

More tolerance from the Islamists, I see. I’m shocked they even let Jewish people in.

After this bit of news, I’m sure Obama will make Jordan his next stop, right after visiting the Indonesian mosque.

  17. Karen Howes says:

Yarmulkes are a security threat– right, because we all know how every day Jews are hiding exposives under them and blowing people up while yelling ‘Yahweh is great!”

  18. Paul Champagne says:

Well actually the yarmulkes ARE a security threat in Jordan … to anyone wearing one or standing near some one wearing one. A spray of machine-gun fire can cause collateral damage. Jordan is just looking out for the safety of their people (wouldn’t want one of their own being killed while taking out a Jew after all … you can’t get the virgins unless you actually pull the trigger)

  19. tapline says:

Angel, when i was traveling throughout the Middle East in 1960′s. A friend of mine couldn’t get a passport to SA because his first name was Issac. He was a Christian but, because of his name they thought he was Jewish. Looks like they haven’t changed much….I don’t know about the rest of the ME at that time this was the only time I heard about their hate for the Jews….Didn’t make sense to me as my best friend was jewish,, with a first name of abraham…We called him honest Abe….But then, I didn’t have a racist bone in my body….I couldn’t even relate to racism stay well….

  20. William Stout says:

The schism between what is acceptable for Muslims and everybody else is glaring. Unless Islamic faith gives you a superior status there is no call for such a thing and by subscribing to it out of habit you mark yourself as a dhimmi without yet paying the jizya unless you wish to think that all of the aid dollars we send to the Arabs is the jizya tax for America.

Your knowledge of Middle Eastern history never ceases to amaze me Angel. You are indeed a scholar.
