Nearly all the alleged al-Qa–ida and Tali–ban members held at the detention center in Cuba are observing Ram–adan, officials said Tuesday. Meals are offered before dawn and after sunset to accommodate their fasting during daylight hours.
Would it be stating the bleeding obvious that the high-minded, self appointed critics who complain about methods of torture are dead wrong.
Of course we don’t get the valuable intelligence we need, which will ultimately save innocent American lives.
When the Libs have their way, terrorists are treated better than you are at your current place of employment.
Detainees are entitled to a full eight hours sleep.
And get this, they can’t even be woken up for interrogations. 
They receive three meals a day. 
They get time to ahem “pray” without interruption mind you.
They are “entitled” to a at least two hours of outdoor recreation per day. Play time! Let’s play kick the bomb. Hide the bomb and go seek? Red light, green light, 1,2,3 Americans dead..whoopie!
Not to mention the approximately 1,000 American lawyers representing 440 prisoners, who just so happen to work on a pro bono basis..after all, it isn’t every day you get to defend someone who helped blow up the World Trade Center. The honor.
Of course injured inmates receive medical treatment and the Lamestream Media casually forgets to note that the doctors have to wear body armor just to treat their patients to avoid being slashed. Charming.
And guess who foots the bill for the terrorists’ dental care or new eyeglasses so they can better read their holy books on how to destroy us…We do. The American taxpayer.
These are captured enemy combatants.
They rejoice over the destruction of our “World as we knew it” before Sept 11, 2001.
Oh wait. Gotta go, theyr’e running out of Ha-lal meat and their favorite A-rabic dessert.

Its sickening to think that a dime of my money is going to taking care of terrorists. These people are our enemy. I’m not advocating the torture for the sake of torture, but if it will save lives than so be it. Not to mention that a prison is SUPPOSE to be punishment.

Yes Angel, our niceness is going to be the death of us yet. I can’t figure out what is going on with this. Are we just crazy? Have our brains left the building? Sadly, that seems to be the case. I’m as frustrated about all this as you are, and as all of our conservative friends are. If we could bag “frustration” and find a market for it we would make a fortune!
This truly is beyond stupid… it’s suicide!

I can’t believe we’re letting them celebrate Ramadan. That’s like telling them we support their religion, or their values, or whatever it is Ramadam is supposed to be. I mean, doesn’t the governement know that by enjoying themselves praying for the death of Americans during Ramadan that they might forget where they are?
If Jesus were alive, what would he do? Surely he wouldn’t NOT torture them…

Treating those who want to kill you kindly is the typical suicidal, effette, delusional game played by the left. It’s as if they are playing a childhood game — “if I can’t see you, you can’t see me.” Their moral superiority complex enables them to justify any amount of spine-bending dhimmitude. I doubt they would fuss even if jihadis shut down Starbucks.
Maybe CNN would be better if everyone wore burkas and beards. I wish someone would do a satirical comic strip called just that — “Burkas & Beards”.
Anyhow, the real danger is not the left and all of their insanities; the real danger is that they blind so many others to the threat that is hurtling at us, and that they retard action until the threat is nearly upon us. This kind of ostrich dancing (put your head in the sand and wiggle your hindquarters, yeah!) will ensure that when we finally do take action, it will be extreme — for then, there will be no time left to act carefully.
Was the Reconquista a careful, judicious event? Could it be because they acted out of dire necessity and did not have the luxury of time?
