IsraeL on the $ AgaiN

It’s a 24-like scenario. Terrorists are attempting to dump anthrax into the ventilation system of a shopping mall. For homeland security officials, early detection is the most important aspect of containing the biological agent and minimizing any injury.
And that’s where the BAS101 comes in - a biodetector for real-time bioterrorism detection. Developed by Israeli startup Biological Alarm Systems Ltd., the BAS101 is a high performance, selective compact alarm system for the continuous rapid detection of biological hazards in public places.
Israeli startup fights bioterrorism - in real time
According to the company’s founder and chief scientist Alex Keinan, as biological terrorism and warfare become increasingly more sophisticated, creating an advanced, global, early detection system is essential for effective homeland security.
The deliberate use of biological and chemical agents or radionuclear material….
Are we really having this conversation?
Until now, most biological defense strategies have been geared to protecting soldiers on the battlefield not innocent civilians.
Welcome to the Ho-ly War.
Before Sept 11, 2001 who even heard of these words.
anthrax, smallpox, plague, botulism, tularemia, or viral hemorrhagic fevers.
Congrads Israel on taking that crucial leap toward protecting our children of the future from the threat of deadly biological warfare.

Israel: a country who dedicates itself to humanity, unlike its foes who seek to eradicate it.
Yet again, the World owes you one.
Any takers?

Ahh, but what about those within the borders still denying we are even in a war?
It’s hard enough to get behind the eight-ball. How will we get United States to step up?

Israel gets the job done. They understand evil, and they don’t let global pressure force them into jeopardizing their safety. Kudos to them. We should take a hint.

There is a lot of astounding technology that comes out of Israel. They have become very astute at meeting technological needs. The question now is… will the US buy the product and use it to prevent a catastrophe?
Thanks for the info, Angel.

There is an old saying in the business world; innovate or die. Israel has taken this proposition to heart, as its very survival demands constant innovation and application. Some times it takes the tiny mouse to come up with the elephantine ideas. Good job in reporting.

That’s comforting.

Israel doesn’t have the luxury of wasting time as we do… Evil is literally on their doorstep, and it wants to kick the door in!

Ditto Old Soldier: “Thanks for the info” Angel!
I dodn’t believe we have the luxury of wasting time anymore either. Seems to me we need to get on this and the faster and harder the better! We’ve been diddly-farting around far too long.

thanks for the story…
i do remember Israel being concerned with a scud attack via Saddam, with some bio warfare.
they no longer have to worry about that…

As far as I’m concerned, using a biological weapon to attack innocent civilians is the same as using a nuclear weapon.
I know if a foreign power used a biological weapon in this country that could be traced back to a country of origin that they could well expect a nuclear response.
I’ll be glad when Ramadan (Islam’s most holy month) is over. It seems that Ramadan has become more of a time for killing then for fasting.
Great Post

Did you notice that Indonesia was elected to the United Nations Security Council?
They refuse to recognize the “Zionist” Israeli government.
How do countries like this get elected.
Just more proof that the UN has lost its relevancy.

Investors Business Daily chimes in on the state of the campaigns and other things:
Can You Trust The National Media?
