Police and health authorities fear that 25,000 British girls are at risk of genital mutilation..
HUNDREDS of young girls in Britain are suffering genital mutilation at the hands of women paid to come to Britain by their families.
Parents fly in African village elders to circumcise their young daughters
African immigrants are clubbing together to pay for practitioners to fly to Britain and circumcise their daughters in highly secretive rituals.
The procedure is generally performed by elderly women, in unsterilised conditions with no anaesthetic. Children as young as five have parts or all of their clit-oris or lab-ia removed. Some have their vaginas sewn up or the flesh shrunk with corrosives.
The procedure is highly dangerous and leaves many of its victims with health problems throughout their lives. Infections and cysts are commonplace, as are complications during childbirth, endangering both mother and baby. Women who have suffered genital mutilation are twice as likely to die in childbirth and three times as likely to give birth to a stillborn child.
Despite the dangers, many African Muslim communities prize the ritual and ostracise women who are not circumcised. It is common in a band stretching from Senegal in West Africa to Somalia on the East coast and in many areas uncircumcised women cannot find a husband.
In Britain, female circumcision — or female genital mutilation (FGM) — is illegal, and carries a maximum sentence of 14 years’ imprisonment.
Reasons given include custom and tradition, religious demand, family honour, hygiene, a belief that it enhances fertility, and to control women’s sexuality ..
The practice contravenes the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Another Muzlim gift to the European continent.
But of course if it is being done by Muzlims, we must excercise “religious tolerance” must we not?

the..ahem…… “procedure”, for a lack of a better word………. is outlawed in Britain, Canada, France, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States.
A US federal bill, “Federal Prohibition of Female Genital Mutilation of 1995″ was passed in 1996-SEP.
Section 273.3 of the Canadian Criminal Code protects children who are ordinarily resident in Canada, (as citizens or landed migrants) from being removed from the country and subjected to FGM.
Needless to say the U.N.and Unicef does what it always does. Nothing.
They claim the solution is …is to trigger awareness through education of the public…..yea right.

“In 1980, UNICEF announced that its anti-FGM program is “based on the belief that the best way to handle the problem is to trigger awareness through education of the public, members of the medical profession and practitioners of traditional health care with the help of local collectives and their leaders.”
Translation: Let’s use multi-syllabic words endlessly and do Nothing.

1951-JUN-23: They stated that female circumcision is desirable because it curbs “nature” (i.e. se-xual drive among women). It stated that medical concerns over the practice are irrelevant.
1981-JAN-29: The Great Shei–kh of Al-A–zhar (the most famous University of the Izzzlamic World) stated that parents must follow the lessons of Moha–mm-ed and not listen to medical authorities because the latter often change their minds. Parents must do their duty and have their daughters circumcised.
Hmmmmmmm.

You do a great service by posting on this terrible ‘procedure’. It is actually butchery. In most instances they do not even use surgical tools, they use a jagged rock or whatever. Many of the young girls die from infection.
Don’t these ignorant people who are not worthy of living in the civilized world realize that God made females this way for a reason? What if their 72 virgins had this procedure. It would put quite a crimp in their sexual follies in Muzzie heaven, wouldn’t it? I bet they never thought of that one.

Interestingly, the circumcision given to Jewish male children does not impact their sex drive. The Bible says that becoming a eunuch is an acceptable choice. Islam took the Jewish and Christian texts and turned them into mutilation of women. That’s what happens when you push an idea through the Islam machine — it comes out twisted, hateful, and self-injurious.

That’s right… Women are chattel.
I’m surprised that they don’t just go ahead and take a branding iron to their women, just as they would a head of cattle.
So not only must you protect your “modesty” at all costs, you must be at the beck and call of your hubby’s sexual desires. You have no say in it; you have sex when and where he says, period. the. end.
And on top of that, IF you survive being mutilated as a child, you are robbed of the ability to enjoy sex.
Honestly, what a bunch of heathens. What on earth does cutting away the clitoris/labia have to do with controlling physical sexual desire?
Oh, yeah. It must curb the emotional/psychological desire to ever want to have sex. I cannot believe that one single woman would do this to another girl… Just sickening, Angel, just sickening!
