Moroccan wins best Holocaust cartoon
Meant to be a response to the Danish cartoons of Is–lam’s Prophet Muh–amm-ad that sparked rage among Mus–lims around the world, the exhibit appeared inspired by Iranian President Mah-moud Ahm–adine-jad’s tirades calling for Israel to be destroyed.
The exhibit curator…said the contest will be an annual event.
“Actually, we will continue until the destruction of Israel,” he said.The display, comprising 204 entries from Ir-an and abroad, opened in August.
…the exhibition, said it wanted to test the West’s tolerance for drawings about the Nazi killing of 6 million Jews in World War II. The entries on display came from nations including United States, Indonesia and Turkey.
I guess being an America and Jooooooooo hater has the effect of instantaneously anesthetizing the upper brain functions.
Haters from Brazil and France jointly won the second prize and one from Iran won third place.
Entries from the U.S.?..I wonder what nationality they were?

Now just imagine for a moment a country launching a gay bashing cartoon contest ..or a “bash African American” contest eh?
Do you suppose it would remain under the radar like this freak show has?

Ummm…One glaringly minor detail.
1-The Danish cartoonists are not Jewish. Duh.
But this childish attempt at retaliation is committed against none other than the Jooooooooooos?

I’ve seen a surprising lack of worldwide condemnation but unfortunately that is to be expected.
If they are looking for massive Jewish protest over Iran’s childish attempt at humor, they have wasted their time.

They would publish these crappy cartoons as a way to test us? I think that us not nuking them into dust after 9-11 was a testament to our patience and tooooolerance. Ugh.

I was reading about this earlier on some news sites… I spent some time trying to find a pic of the so called winner which in my mind they are ALL miserable losers… They are testing medium to long range rockets now which means one thing; and that’s shaking the cob webs off their delivery systems for their nukes which is further along than the so called experts on the matter say… Israel is fed up! Those wack job terrorists next door in Palestine are planning an offensive, Syria and Iran are planning a take over of Lebanese gov’t via Hezbollah… It’s going to get nasty, and look for Israel to be a heck of a lot more serious on the matter and I wouldn’t be surprised to wake up one morning and hear Israel took out Iran’s “peaceful nuclear sites” I wouldn’t blame them. For them to think Israel can be whipped because of what happened this past summer is going to bite them right square in the arse! You can’t fix something if you don’t know what’s broke. They are fixing it believe me both militairly and politically by bringing in some extreme hardliners. The next go around is going to look a lot different.

Hi Angel! Great posting, girlfriend. These idiots are once again proving they are idiots. Why aren’t they getting back at the Danes by publishing Danish cartoons? I know the reason; because they are going to punish the Jews for what the Danes did. Hmmmmmm. Are the Iranians vigorously enforcing copyright or something? I’ve seen about five news stories, two using the “Jew falling into hell” graphic used about, on the topic… not a single one of them has shown the WINNER of the damned contest.
Do you have to pay licensing rights to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad first before you can publish the contestants?

Oddly enough Clash, just the day before your post I put up a little scribe on my site about a recent meeting between Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper and socialist party leader Jack Layton over Harper’s proposed environment bill. As soon as I heard there was going to be a meeting, the Star Wars reference crossed my mind: that it turns out they came up with a “deal” that Layton two days later was “altering”, it just came out perfect.
As for other countries and Star Wars, how about Kim Jong Ill as Grand Moff Tarkin, Pervez Musharraf as Chewbacca, Angela Merkel as Princess Lei, and of course José Zapatero as Greedo.

Iran’s competition for cartoons mocking the Holocaust drew a pitiful 204 entries from around the world and although Iranian newspapers announced the results of the competition they barely gave it any decent coverage. Not a single one even bothered to….
