Sept. 11 Memorial & Museum

A proposal that could hit visitors to the Sept. 11 Memorial & Museum with a fee of up to $25 is fueling outrage among families, tourists and elected officials.

“This was supposed to be a place of valor, remembrance and reverence,” said retired FDNY Deputy Chief Jim Riches, whose firefighter son, Jimmy, 29, died in the north tower.

“They might as well sell lemonade and T-shirts if they’re going to become a(n) … admission-charging tourist attraction.”

Possible $25 fee for Sept. 11 Memorial & Museum outrages relatives of victims

Welcome to Liberal America my sweet friends.
Billions to hand over to the Muzlim Brothahood whose sole goal is to eliminate us entirely….but no money11 whatsoever for families of the 9/11 massacre at the hands of devout Muzlims.

I, as most of y’all know…was a first responder elbow to elbow with our FDNY and NYPD.

There are some things our Nation will never “get over.”

We will NEVER “GET OVER” 9-11.

In addition, we will we not “get over” the bombing of the Kohbar Towers, Oklahoma City, the USS Cole, The Twin Towers, the Pentagon or the Field in Pennsylvania.

Sure..charge “fees” to the families who wonder what their husbands, wives, sons or daughters did at the last moment knowing they were going to be burned alive or crash?

kn-ifeh-eart

Insist that the families who had to see the images of their loved ones jumping out of the World Trade Center in a futile attempt to save their lives– cough up cash just to memorialize them.

wtcattack_13

This is how we treat the memory of those with the strength and spirit to do all possible to try to live just to see another day.

On September 11, 2001, in the heart of America’s greatest city, nearly three thousand Americans were murdered in a single morning.

Terrorist Muzlims struck a blow against ALL of us that reverberates to this day. Well, At least for people of conscience that is …”

wtcattack_12

But wait…Why be surprised at how Libs treat their fellow citizens..
Their compassion was all ‘used up’–makin sure NO Muzlims were ‘insulted’ by anything whatsoever the last 10 years since we were attacked.

Oh..and Wasn’t it Hussein Obama, their Messiah who stated: “America is not a Christian nation …”
Was it not he who propagandized that : “Islam has always been part of America …”

Indeed…since Sept 11th…It sure has.

I’m sorry to hear about this Angel. It doesn’t seen right at all. I know many who lived through September 11, 2001, and life in New York and surrounding areas, will probably visit on a regular basis, seems a shame to put a high price on their pain.

  2. Zilla says:

Well that Daisy Khan, wife of the horrid muslim brother imam rauf who are pushing to build a victory mosque and jihadi recruiting center near Ground Zero is on the freaking planning board for the memorial so this latest horrible slap at the victims and survivors is no more surprising than to store the misidentified remains of the victims several stories underground as some macabre side show attraction. These people are just as evil as the murderous scumbags they ally themselves with who killed so many of us. May all their moronic leftist enablers rot in hell alongside the jihad f*cks.
Sorry, Angel, this all makes me very very angry.
WTF is wrong with our society that they bend over and let this happen?
After September 11, we should have been awakened to the effing jihad and fought against it at home & abroad but instead we did everything we could to make the enemy comfortable, even at the sacrifice of our own freedom and dignity. It is so very g-danged wrong!

  3. Silverfiddle says:

Big government failed us on 9/11 and it is screwing up the memorial.

  4. Always On Watch says:

The Left wants to sweep 9/11 under the rug — especially since Obama’s Cairo speech.

    Evil, evil, evil.

  5. DeanO says:

Angel, profit, profit, $$$$ this is and will be the ruination of America. Pride and money, Sin and moral decay…how sad; how very sad for America. Yes, they might as well sell t-shirts, ice-cream and cotton candy and make a carnival show of one of America’s greatest tragedy’s.

  6. Comedy Plus says:

I just spend a wonderful 4th of July weekend in Bridgeport, CA. A ton of patriot. We were in God’s country. We were proud Americans. I didn’t see one liberal all weekend.

Have a terrific day. Thanks for the cool card. Hugs. ;)

Why don’t we figure out things like this? Those guys are going to have us paying for our own demise. This is kind of like having the prisoners on death row dig their own graves. There is just something wrong about that.

So, lady, we all rail and rant about the brain dead actions of liberals, and more pointedly, our President. The question is, what can we do? The only answer I can think of is to keep on talking about it. The more we shout the truth, the more chance we have of being heard.

    Thanks for the post.

    LIBS … the terrorists friends!

  9. Quite Rightly says:

Charging people a fortune to visit a memorial to grieve, learn, and contemplate! And they say there’s nothing new under the sun.

“But wait…Why be surprised at how Libs treat their fellow citizens..
Their compassion was all ‘used up’–makin sure NO Muzlims were ‘insulted’ by anything whatsoever the last 10 years since we were attacked.”

You got that right. Truer words were never written.

  10. Timothy says:

    Hi Angel,
This is indeed sad. That’s like taxing grief. The Libs have figured out how to tax everything, especially those things near and dear to us. Hopefully the outrage will push some sense into their heads. But common sense and Liberals rarely meet.
    Blessings
    Timothy

  11. Ricky Vines says:

I went to the USS Arizona Memorial and didn’t have to pay a cent. The Holocaust Memorial Museum in DC is also free. Why the difference? Is it because the perps of 9/11 are Muslim?

  12. Leticia says:

Unbelievable. They are cashing in on someone’s grief and pain. Liberals and their greed have no limit to how low they will stoop to make a quick buck, even if it has huge ramifications.

  13. KarL M says:

Since we are still in the week of July 4th Independence Day celebration..and the fireworks remind me of a Bagdad night not long ago..i am going the entire week without thinking about O’vomit or a Muslim terrorist or both…
Because i am Free!!!!! Let Freedom ring!!!!

  14. Early Light says:

The fat lady hasn’t sung yet, Angel.

  15. GrouchyFogie says:

The Ground Zero Victory mosque debate comes at an interesting time in American history. America is a proud nation with citizens that openly share this pride. We are also a diverse nation, a melting pot of cultures, ethnicities, and religions. But what happens when the melting pot boils over, threatening to challenge the principles that America was built on?
According to a Time magazine poll conducted last year, 61 percent of 1,000 adults surveyed opposed the project, while 26 percent supported it. Just 23 percent said it would be a symbol of religious tolerance, while 44 percent said it would be an insult to those who died on 9/11. Additionally, 46 percent of those polled believed Islam was more likely than other faiths to encourage violence against non-believers, although only 37 percent said they knew a Muslim American.

  16. Brooke says:

This is truly disgusting! Insult to injury of the length of time it is taking to build this!

  17. Bob Mack says:

Here’s what we do: DEFY the left at every opportunity. Ridicule them in public. Drive SUV’s, buy guns, eat Big Macs, don’t tolerate the mavens of PC, tell everyone that Islam is NOT the religion of peace–and never, ever vote for anyone who tells you government is the solution.

  18. Karen Howes says:

How repulsive. A normal, non-fee memorial would be wonderful, but with this… I mean, why not put some rides in as well?

  19. The Conservative Lady says:

It took 10 years for them to build this memorial…that’s the first disgrace. Now a possible $25 fee to visit it. My heart goes out to the families.

  20. Robert Garding says:

This is one of the best tributes to 9/11 I have seen my friend. Keep up the great work here.
