Vets: We Haven’t Forgotten Y’all
In memory of my best friend who I lost 2 years ago to cancer. A proud Viet Nam vet who was never thanked properly by the people in our beautiful country.

Hi Angel. I just finished watching that inspirational video over at Dee’s. I remember it from last year, but watched it anyway. It just feels good to know the soldiers returning home this time are not treated in the hateful and shameful way they were treated in Vietnam.

One more thing… I am sure people like you thanked your friend properly. I wish he could have had a greeting when he returned like the ones the soldiers had on this video, but your friendship and the friendship of others must have done a lot to repair the hurt of an ungrateful nation. We should always remember the way our troops were treated returning from Vietnam; it’s America’s lasting shame and should never be pushed under the table.
