More than 1,000 people turned out on Saturday at the Council on American-Is–lamic Relations (CA–IR) banquet in Arlington, Va., to hear addresses by several elected officials, including Keith Elli-son, the first Mus–lim in Congress.

Hardcore koolaid drinkers, our very own Dems and the FBI were in attendance. 
Of course the sane amongst us know who the terrorist CA-IR bears are and what their “lofty” aims are.
“But there is another side to CA-IR that has alarmed many people in positions to know.
The Department of Homeland Security refuses to deal with it. Senator Charles Schumer (Democrat, New York) describes it as an organization “which we know has ties to terrorism.”
Senator Dick Durbin (Democrat, Illinois) observes that CA-IR is “unusual in its extreme rhetoric and its associations with groups that are suspect.”
Steven Pomerantz, the FBI’s former chief of counterterrorism, notes that “CA–IR, its leaders, and its activities effectively give aid to international terrorist groups.”
The family of John P. O’Neill, Sr., the former FBI counterterrorism chief who perished at the World Trade Center, named CA–IR in a lawsuit as having “been part of the criminal conspiracy of radical Isl–amic terrorism
responsible for the September 11 atrocities. Counterterrorism expert Steven Emerson calls it “a radical fundamentalist front group for Ham-as.”

How bout this lil tidbit:
“Perhaps the most obvious problem with CA-IR is the fact that at least five of its employees and board members have been arrested, convicted, deported, or otherwise linked to terrorism-related charges and activities.” 
CA-IR has consistently shown itself to be on the wrong side of the war on terrorism, protecting, defending, and supporting both accused and even convicted radical Isl-amic terrorists.
So you wonder, what were the Dems and FBI thinking?

A stiff upper lip, Angel? Mine feels like it’s been ironed with starch!
CAIR should be prosecuted and I don’t understand why it isn’t. That we have an organization that is definitely the enemy within our borders is intollerable! Perhaps we should all start blogging about CAIR. Let’s put the heat on! I’ll start after Thanksgiving. I’m going to focus on these b*stards! They are truly the enemy.
Off topic, Angel; I hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have a lot of problems, but we still must remember that we have a lot to be thankful for.

CAIR is trouble. The general consensus in the moderate/reform Muslim community is that they are only able to get the support of the everyday muslim because they have managed to advertise themselves as defenders against prejudice, and like most of the general public, muslims who don’t do their research are ignorant of evidence otherwise.

Event Raises More Than $620,000 for Civil Rights Work — I didn’t know terrorism was also known as civil rights work. What will they think of next? Yes, they should be prosecuted, but more importantly every member should be shipped out of this country immediately. Remember, if you’re not with us, you’re against us. That should go for individuals, groups/organizations and other countries.

Eek! Have you listened to Keith Ellison’s address?
He dragged up Katrina and immigration. He also said the following
“The Iraq War has affected our civil rights.”
And of course, he slammed the Patriot Act.
He also said, “The voices from the Muslim civil rights community WILL be heard.”

I was really suprised to hear that this Ellison fellow was in the Nation Of Islam and I usually do my research. I celebrated when I heard that a muslim was in Congress but ever since then, I’ve been reading the things this guy has said and I truly wonder how he ever got on the ballot.

Let’s hope a leader like D.C. Stephenson rises up in the CAIR ranks as the implode like the Klan did in Indiana in the 1920s.
Remember Stepheson had put people from the governor down in power in Indiana. But Stevie was repelled by a secretary thus raped and killed her; like all brave klansmen. Her dying words implicated him and brought down Indiana’s entire state govt.
Obviously without the loss of an innocent life, CAIR needs arrogant leadership like that.

Nice post Angel. And, it is right and proper that the Muslim immigration to this country (most of it improper or illegal) should be stopped before it’s too late. There are now thousands of illegal muslim terrorists in this country. They should be stopped before they are numerous enough to do what Muslims have done to France or Mexicans to America. In these cases it is probably too late already.

Excellent post. Civil rights? It would be laughable if it weren’t so tragic! I agree with Gayle’s comments. Let’s put the heat on the Council on American-Is–lamic Relations – with special concentration on those American apologists for terrorist supporting organizations! Imagine the power of thousands of bloggers discussing this one organization and their American friends? I’ll be tracking back to this and blogging about it right after Thanksgiving as well
