I hate to say I TOLD YOU SO friends…(well, actually I really don’t hate to..) but …….I TOLD YOU SOOOOOOOOO.
The honorable Mr.Prager is rebutting the Lefty slurs against him and rightfully so. On Ell-ison and his swearing in on the Ko–ran:

It is not I, but Keith Elli–son, who has engaged in disuniting the country. He can still help reunite it by simply bringing both books to his ceremonial swearing-in. Had he originally announced that he would do that, I would have written a different column — filled with praise of him. And there would be a lot less cursing and anger in America.”
I am not nearly as generous as Mr. Prager.
This is the Truth.
Elli-son will usher in this country’s ruination.
With the help of the Saudi-endowed attorneys at CA-IR, of course.
All the recent posturing by the Muzlims on airplane flights , gyms, schools and in public areas is a purposeful plan to set the stage for the next and the next and then the final Act. 
The Libs and Dhimmicrats are already bending over backwards to appease these people. ..Yes, “these people”…the: seethaholics.
Why do you suppose Ell-ison brought this attention to himself..and yes he most certainly did.
The only reason he and his cohorts are doing this is to establish a terrorist foothold without attentive and vigilant eyes around them. They cry “Izlamophobia” every time an American responds with common sense and before long , there will be no more common sense. 
They are already demanding that a percentage of all public places be designated for Muzlims…oooh..for prayer…how touching. 
Why not follow Europe’s footsteps and designate entire neighborhoods for them eh? 
Ell-ison’s Muzlim and A-rab cohorts are from societies and cultures that refuse to accept responsibility for their own failures.
The preposterous A-rab insistence that all A-rab problems are the fault of America and Israel ignores the fact that Arab civilization has been in decline for over 700 years and has been in utter frenzy for the last 200.
Dennis Prager is spot on.
But I will take his arguments miles farther.

Mr. Prager may have a valid point but he is communicating it wrong as it is coming out as an attack on religion that I am sure the radical Atheist and their allies will love. Mr. Praeger should instead point out why he believes Islam is a violent religion and out Mr. Ellison on the defensive. I believe The Nation of Islam is probably even more racist that your average Islamic sect, who seem to be more prejudiced where religion oriented.

Great article and thank you for writing about this important issue. I have written 4 articles on this alone and invite you and your readers to them.
This is a slipperly slope that we are headed down and, in my opinion, is an outrage! Ellison is slapping America in the face while the world watches….what a sad state of affairs! I’m sure the biased media will be showing the joy and dancing in the streets from the Middle East once this occurs…will they be screaming “death to America” at that time?
If Ellison was really interested in helping to unite the country he would say publically NOW that he would NOT bring the Koran out of respect for the American people and the country (USA) that he will take an oath to defend against any and ALL enemies, no matter who they are!!

I’d love to think Ellison is going to be a one hit wonder; but the fact that he got elected at all isn’t to reassuring. Some serious brain deadness in his congressional district. Must be a lot of inbreeding going on there.

I’m so mad, I could spit. The Bible isn’t my book. But it is the official book of Ceremony in public life in my country. And so it should stay. Late, the six cryin’ flyin’ Imams were revealed to be the fakes they are. I guess we should expect an elected representative to be a fake (name 10 who aren’t), but at least he could pretend to be Gd-fearing and patriotic.

I don’t think that the problem is not wanting to use a Christian Bible (as a Jew, I would object to using a New Testament, and would insist on the Old Testament only).
I think that the problem is Ellison’s using, for the photo op, a book that is used, worldwide, to justify hatred and killing of all non-muslims, that prescribes, and is used to justify the current practice of, draconian unconstitional punishments, and that is used to justify the oppression, brutalization, and third-class status of women. In short, the koran is un-American, and that is why Ellison should not use it.

Really, if swearing on a Bible offends you, then just raise your hand and vow to tell the truth. Those are the only choices. To add the Koran to the list would be a huge mistake.

The argument that the oath is religious hence offensive falls short when the lefts real oath is to deceit and flexible truth.
If this is about a book of truth -open the Koran to debate (not insult but honest questioning) that all may be enlightened by its truth. Judaism and christianity do it all the time.
