Israeli Soldiers still MissinG
JERUSALEM - In their first comment about the fate of two soldiers whose capture triggered a monthlong war between Israel and Hez-bollah guerrillas last summer, Israeli officials said Wednesday the two were seriously wounded — raising the prospect they may no longer be alive.
Captured Israel soldiers suffer injuries..”If they did not receive immediate medical treatment, there is grave concern for their lives,” Israel TV.. said on the nightly TV newscast.
After Hez–bollah guerrillas crossed the Lebanon-Israel border in July and attacked an Israeli patrol, killing three soldiers and capturing the two, Israel sent regular forces into Lebanon, first to look for the soldiers and then to try to beat Hezbollah into submission.
Both missions failed, and the war ended inconclusively….
The U.N. is trying to mediate, but there are no reports of progress or of actual contacts.
Yes. You heard right. The UN is trying to mediate.

The bloody U.N.’s brokered cease-fire that ended the war called for the unconditional release of the soldiers. Do you see the soldiers anywhere folks?

In the meantime 39 Israeli soldiers lost their lives in the pathetic, unfinished war agains the Hezbully terrorists.
It’s too bad the ole UN denies to Israel, which acquired territories after a defensive war as France, Russia or even our very own America did (in its Pacific possessions) until peace was attained, the same rights as those nations had under international law.
But, hey it’s Israel. All bets are off right?
It’s just too dang bad that their own country have failed the Lebneez who made the Cedar revolution to be free.
Instead they are busy arming homicidal gangs and thugs and relics from the PL-O in the 1980’s to the Hezbullies today.
But they must succumb to the almighty the dictates of Sy-ria and I-ran. Right.
Of course the Mainstream Mafia Media has taught us well.
According to them, it was “proportionate”, aggression for the Hezbullies to invade Israel in the first place.
It was “understandable” that they killed eight soldiers; kidnapped two others ostensibly in order to bargain for the release of other Hezzbully and Ham-ass terrorist thugs.
Sure. Let us apply that standard to our murderers, rapists and criminals here at home shall we.
From now on criminals and thugs should be allowed to kidnap or kill cops , and use them as hostages in return for the release of their fellow criminal thugs rotting away in our prisons. Fair enough?
Good Lord, why is the UN still standing.

It always surprises me how easily many people fall into the Jew Hating Asshat role. Across the world dimbulbs are willing to accept any BS they are told about how all their problems are the fault of the Jews.

This just saddens me to no end. Bush is still saying, “Islam is a peaceful religion,”………..for the leader of the free world he is still ’stuck on stupid.’

Angel, don’t forget that Israel is required to allow Red Cross visits to all prisoners in its custody, but that Hezbollah & Hams still haven’t even told the ICRC if the missing soldiers are even alive.

We should turn the UN into a homeless shelter. It will still be filled with bums but at least they won’t be demanding millions of dollars for Palestine.
I’ve heard that Hezbollah and Hamas are asking for as many as 1500 captured terrorist for the return of these soldiers.
I’ve noticed that the MSM has largely been silent about these captured soldiers.

I hate to say it, but these men are dead, and have been for some time. What’s worse, their families will never even receive their remains for proper burial.

Brooke- there was a report out just today that was an official Israeli government report that the two soldiers were critically wounded when they were captured, and unless they got immediate medical attention from Hizbollah (yeah, right) they were probably dead. The Israeli gov. kept this report secret until today I guess- can’t remember where I saw it- I think it was on freerepublic.com if I remember right.
