A guide to Is–lam is being given to primary schools across Britain containing a headscarf, a prayer mat, a prayer cap, sacred Ih-ram clothing worn during the pilgrimage to Ma–kkah, a poster of the Mus–lim prophets and a compass to locate the direction of Ma–kkah.
(from dawn.com)
the teaching resource, provided by the Mus–lim Council of Britain, is intended to provide children aged seven and 11 with information about true Isl–amic beliefs
..a “three-foot by three-foot plastic box”, also contains CDs, videos, children’s books and pamphlets and model kits of a mos–que and Is–lam’s holiest site, the K–a’bah.

And you thought all ya needed was a protractor.
Well, sweet friends..I checked it against the The General Supply List
and hmmmmmm….
Let us see now.
“Some supplies are necessary year after year, no matter what grade you’re in. When you’re planning for a new school year, it’s pretty safe to invest in these.”
3 Computer discs
3-ring binder
Backpack
Colored pencils
Colored pens
Eraser
Glue stick
Graph paper ![]()
Hand sanitizer
Highlighters
Internet access
Markers
Organizer/planner
Paper clips
Pens/pencils
Pencil sharpener
Pocket dictionary
Pocket folders
Poster paper
Public Library card
Ream of computer paper ![]()
Scissors
Spiral notebook
Stapler
Thesaurus
Tissues
O.K. I don’t see headscarf, a prayer mat, a prayer cap, or sacred Ih-ram clothing anywhere folks..do you?
Funny, I don’t see the obligatory, much needed poster of the Mus–lim prophets and a compass to locate the direction of Ma–kkah either.
How remiss!
I wonder now..does this trusty little propaganda kit come equipped with a New Testament and posters of Jesus as well?
or perhaps the trusty ole yarmulke or a copy of Hava Nagila?
Congrads yet again U.K. on typifying the spirit of dhimmi-tude.
The binmen can’t even wear a Santa hat…but little Izlam “kits” for the kiddies are just spiffy eh.
You British folks sure seem to have a penchant for self destruction.
Good luck on scoring points with the Muzlims..your’e gunna need it blokes.

What about the grenades? Shouldn’t they be in the kits as well?

I hope some parents get angry about this. ‘Cause it is f*ked up.
As bad as the islam lessons in California (middle school students had a month long “islam-simulation” unit, I am sorry but I forgot the link)
Some things don’t belong in schools.

A few years back, students in Fairfax County Public Schools were treated to a visit from a muslimah, who was doing her proselytizing. Students learned and recited the Five Pillars of Islam–all in the name of appreciating Ramadan. In fact, some public-school textbooks contain that exercise of recitation, along with other exercises such as “Imagine you’re a Palestinian.”
The Hindus in Fairfax County raised a stink, and as far as I know, the recitations has stopped. But I can’t be sure of that.

Feds bust truck trainee who only wants to go forward, and Open Trackbacks…
Remember how the 9/11 hijackers only wanted to learn to fly planes, but not land them? Now we have terrorists who want to learn how to drive tractor trailer trucks, but don’t want to learn how to back them up….

The Way Forward…
Over the past few days there has been some talk about what President Bush was going to do in the wake of the recommendations of the Iraq Study Group, leading Generals, both active and inactive and what the way forward would entail….

Well, if this isn’t the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard, it certainly is close too it! What are parents thinking? If my child was in a school that let that happen, he/she would be pulled out immediately! Letting this happen is total insanity! What’s wrong with Britain, anyhoo? Has everyone over there become suicidal? Sheesh!

So…propaganda, in other words? How about we include in their supply kits, a copy of a Robert Spencer book? That still qualifies for educating them on Islam, right?

I see that I am not the only one who wondered where the bomb making equipment was on the list.
Tony Blair has decided that the phrase “War on Terrorism” is offensive to Muslims.
???
Obviously even Muslims associate themselves with the word TERRORISM.

I’ll bet the Anglican Church isn’t likewise telling them about God and Jesus etc.

“….a poster of the Mus–lim prophets ….”
Muslim clerics and Imams declared that the Kuran states..that it is a sin to make an image of “The Prophet”! Recall the Josten’s cartoon riots…??

What about the AK-74s, grenades, and IED kits? Where is the sensitivity??? Of course, schools will save millions once they kick out all the girls, Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, etc. Everyone but the little commie kids, since apparently commies get a pass with radical Islam.
As an aside, I would have liked to have seen the golden handshake for that one, but it probably started when the Soviets agreed to stop occupying Iran in return for a quid pro quo with Islamofascist elites back in the 60s. Or maybe they just share a passion for killing babies and creating poverty.

Well, well, what a sick joke. That is beyond ludicrous. But what if all that in the “Box” were a Bible, a manger, a model of a church etc? I suppose then there would be demonstrations? Ugh…this sort of thing really turns my stomach!

This sounds like a variation of when some California schools had the children “play” at being Muslim. The hidden message is that you children are a bunch of intolerant thugs and we are indoctrinating you into the Social progressive(socialist) culture of equality for all.
Everyone is equal in having the right to life, liberty, pursuit of happiness and other natural rights but a social progressive or a socialist would not know what that was if it was right before their eyes.

There is an old saying, “When you dine with the devil, make sure you have a long spoon.” I fear the Brits are going down a dangerous road by giving in to these demands. No other religion gets this special treatment.

My, how times change. I can recall back in the Dark Ages, we only needed to provide something to write with and something to write on… and our attention in class and to homework.
Library cards weren’t required for school. They were required to live.
Textbooks were there (but who rad them except for copying down math problems for homework? Now, really!). Teachers, well, taught. Usually pretty well. We had time to play in afternoons (or in later school years, work), do all the reading, etc., we wanted/needed to do both at school and at home (library cards: almost as important in sustaining life as food and water).
What’s with the wild and crazy loists of “needs” for school nowadays?
Adding Muslim indoctrination apparel and other objects to an already ridiculously long list of “unnecessaries” is adding insult to injury.
