SuperBowl 2012!

SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!!!
Oh yea~!

Big money.![]()
Just how much money can a Super Bowl bring to an area? Try $150 million! That includes all the money spent by fans, sponsors, media and other visitors in the Indianapolis area this year. Cha-ching!
Superbowl!

Are you ready for some … food?
Make sure you pick up some extra bleu cheese dressing to dip the 1.25 billion chicken wings fans will be eating on Sunday. That actually adds up to more than 100 million pounds of chicken wings.

Healthy lifestyle?
Vegetables at a Super Bowl party?
That’s right! In fact, the healthy treat is the top food eaten in homes during Super Bowl. Of course, we all know they taste better when someone brings some dip!

When it comes to watching the Super Bowl, nine out of 10 watchers are going to be at a home — either their house or someone else’s. That’s a lot of Super Bowl parties.

Are y’all having one?

Worth the gamble?
Betting on the Super Bowl?
You bet! Nearly one-third of U.S. adults are likely to bet on the big game with men outnumbering women who decide to put some cash on the line.
But be warned: 92% of those surveyed said they’ve actually lost money gambling on the Super Bowl in the past.![]()

Ok ok ok..Y’all know I’m a NY chicka.![]()
Soooooooooo..
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GIANTS!!!
Yeaaa baby!

Have an awesome weekend Sweet Friends~!

Your super bowl offerings look delish! I don’t have a favorite team this year.

I’m a 49er fan, and therefore have nothing to add. Enjoy the game.

You can have healthy eating at your Super Bowl party. Use Hummas to dip your veggies in. Tastes great, heart healthy. Sabra is best (Donates to IDF Soldiers Fund). I make a homemade Picate` that is to die for, and a homemade Guacamole. Both are heart healthy and a great way to get kids to eat their veggies.
One more thing:
GO GIANTS!!!!!!!

May the best team win! I won’t be tuning in to watch. I kind of got burned out on watching football.

I think the Giants pass rush will be too much for pretty boy to handle. My pick: Giants 34 Patriots 20.

Football was my passion in high school.
Even tho I was only about a 155 lbs, after eating Thanksgiving dinner, I was an allstate linebacker two years running cuz I understood the game and cud size up wut the other team wuz gunna do at almost any given moment and I didn’t much care how much I hurt for the rest uv the week. It was the chess game I excelled at and it challenged me to excell.
Then I hit the NAIA. The coach was on a power trip and kicked all but nineteen of us off the team for drinking. I got selected to play left tackle and right inside linebacker even tho I was still a bit south of a 165 lbs and I was thrilled at the chance. After two games it dawned on me that those fellas that out brawned me by at least 50 pounds knew as much, if not more, about football than I did and being a smart college boy an all I figgered git smarter fella and I quit football and I took up racket ball. My head and back still thank me.
So I ain’t watched much football for the last 30 sum years cuz it wud make my head ring in memory. Yet I decided that I’ll watch the first part of this year’s Super Bowl to hear a real winning team.
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are doing the kickoff with “God Bless America”.
Cain’t take the country outta a small time football player?

Mr. AOW and I will be watching the Super Bowl alone here at home. I just put the fixins of my homemade chili in the crockpot!

Why did they pick Indianapolis?? I went there for a funeral once. My Dad and I spent Friday seeing Indianapolis and going to the funeral and then we were stuck there Saturday and Sunday because of scheduling complications. We spent Saturday in the hotel just watching TV. It was snowing and raining as it was early March, similar weather to now, and so there was no where to go. Come Sunday we went to Mass at the Cathedral and saw someone while in town and then once again went back to the hotel before leaving Monday morning. Great bonding time but boring city. I think Baltimore, MD is more exciting. Only thing we saw was the speedway on the morning before the funeral. One thing I liked though was the coverage by the local media of John Paul II, who was ill then, as they seemed interested with a report they gave one month before he died.

I figured I would be in for some great food. Sounds great.

I’m for the Giants also! It should be a good game.
All the food looks good, Angel. I’m ready here with all the goodies.

Not into football so we don’t spend anything. I do hope your team wins though. Just saying.
Have a terrific day. Hugs.

Angel, playoffs and Superbowl are generally the only football I watch. I’m rooting for New England as I’m a Brady fan. I have had a few and have attended a few Superbowl parties in the years past. I’ve enjoyed most of them and usually my time lost! Love the big picnic style food spread, burgers, chips and dogs..oh my

It had to go forward without me. Long ago I said no to football and yes to black lace.
