Gone Skiing!!!
Ahhhhhhhhhhh… Who needs to turn their mind off and get away?
Whooosh!
Can you guess which ones are me? Ha.
OK..I’ll give ya hint.
This one aint..It’s Mr. Potato Head. lol
No, not that one either. Sheesh.
Tada!
Wow. Can you say escape?
The brilliant Sun, bouncing reflections off the snow at will.
Nature’s stunning palette of white spilling all over the mountain.
Gleaming, crystalline icicles on the trees.
The awe of it all……….etched in my mind.
Skiing is a dance, and the mountain always leads.
Skiing is the only sport where you spend an arm and a leg to break an arm and a leg.
Turn right, turn left, repeat as necessary.
Am I ready to face the world of politics and pain yet?..In a word: No.
How’s the ole weather by you sweet friends?
NYC is Brrrrr!
Apres Ski Calories!

Hah! One of “those” are you. “Those” being the people that strap little sticks on their feet and slide really, really fast down a hill. No thank you. I’ll stick to riding the couch in front of the wood stove with a good book.
Have fun, Angel.
Damn – that ooey gooey pizza looks really good.

I’ve had enough snow.
But enjoy yourself.

Well, we’ve been getting snow finally, and it’s predicted to continue for a week. The little woman made me give up skiing because of my back, which hasn’t bothered me for 15 years. When you live in the middle of about 10 ski areas it isn’t easy to give it up. I’m only 15 minutes from Squaw Valley for instance.
Oh well, you have fun and stay loose.

I’ve never skied, but I’ve never lived in snow country either. Do what you love and that’s why we boat.
I always get stuck on all the good food you post here. Yummy.
Have a fabulous weekend honey. Big hugs. ♥♥♥

Have a great time. I personally will be staying indoors and watching the skiing on TV. It is too cold outside for this old lady.

Never have been skiing–that is snow skiing, but have in the past spent a lot of the time doing that water sport. Just not much snow down here in south Mississippi. Enjoy the break from all the madness.

Wow! What beautiful pictures you took, Angel! Looks like you’re having a blast. Stay warm and stay safe as you enjoy God’s creation. Cheers!

I never learned to ski. I could have learned to do so — but I saw that all my skiing friends were laid up with broken bones so much of the time.
Ski safely, Angel.

Have a great week!
And thanks for checking up on me. My personal political blog may be dormant; but it’s not shut down!
And you can on occasion find me posting at Flopping Aces (Check in each Sunday for Sunday Funnies).

My idea of a great day at the slopes would be sitting in the lodge with all those “après Ski Calories!” watching you and all the pretty ladies flying down the mountain through the window! This old feller used to ski but finds that the cold sucks at my age. Never even noticed it way back when.

A yummy ending to a great day.

Love the photos of snow….but it kind of looks like the snow is ending here in Indiana. We hit above freezing for the first time in a month today, and on Monday, we hit the 40s and temps going up from there…for now. Hope you are staying warm and you have a great Valentines Day too my friend.
