Snow Storm Jonas!

Did y’all know that in order For a snowstorm to be classified as a blizzard, it must meet certain criteria?
Well here they are!

-Heavy or blowing snow, sustained winds of 35 mph, and visibility of 1/4 mile or less. And all three conditions must persist for at least three hours. Well guess who met those? Jonas!

The storm affected 85 million people. Are you one of them my friends?

We got treated to a combination of snow, wind and flooding. Woot! Blinding snow, strong winds and zero visibility. Anyone wanna come over? ha.

This here Snowzilla is a whopper of a storm I can tell y’all that much. Can hardly push the front door open.

So y’all know what it’s time for, right?

Add some kaluah and chocolate ice cream and the snow won’t bother ya a bit!

Hash browns, eggs and cheese oh my!

Top it off with fried bananas yummm!

What do you call an old snowman?

STAY SAFE AND WARM my friends!!!

I’m not a winter sports person, so all this snow is not fun for me.

But the sights out my windows are breathtaking. And I do like the lull, even if that lull is temporary.

I’m glad he’s passed you by and you are safe. I don’t care for the snow and that’s why I don’t live in snow country. You’ve explained why very well.

Have a fabulous, warm day my special friend. Big hugs and love you Angel. ♥♥♥

I remember those snow days having been born and raised in Michigan–whenever I think of moving back – blizzards occur –and make me glad to stay in CA–as liberal as CA tends to be (-:

We Michiganders avoided this one, but I’d still like a mug of that hot cocoa. Bundle up! Stay safe. And instead of calling it “Winter storm Jonas”, let’s start putting the first name first because storms sound much less threatening that way. Say it with me. “Jonas the Winter Storm”… Sounds as fun as Thomas the Train. Now don’t you feel better?
