Christian & Judeo-phobic Liberals

Justin Boone is a senior high school student at Community Schools in Michigan. …Late last year, Justin and three other students presented their public speaking topic regarding the issue of same-sex marriage. This topic was approved ahead of time by Justin’s teachers..

The students covered the following areas in making their presentation:

1) Religious opposition to same-sex marriage;
2) Political opposition to same-sex marriage; and
3) Scientific evidence as it relates to same-sex marriage.

Despite their hard work, each member of the group received a failing grade for their assignment.

Other than brief notes sketched out by the teachers on evaluation forms, Justin was not presented with any details or reasons as to why he and the other members of his group received an “F” for their presentation.

The day after the presentation, Justin met with one of his teachers regarding an assignment unrelated to the same-sex marriage issue; however, the teacher brought up the previous presentation on the same-sex marriage issue and told Justin that he “reminded” him “of the Ku Klux Klan.”

This comment was made in the presence of other students in the classroom.
You’re Opposed to Same-S-ex Marriage–You Must be a Member of the Ku Kl-ux Kl-an

Justin received a failing grade for his assignment, not because he failed to satisfy the applicable, academic criteria for the assignment, but because he proffered opinions contrary to the personal beliefs of the teachers.

Justin’s teachers discriminated against him and his teammates on account of his political and religious viewpoints and in violation of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.

..the American Center for Law and Justice intervened, the Superintendent of Schools corrected the situation.

Perhaps a bittersweet ending for Justin my friends.

Exactly when did it become the role of the professor or teacher to try to convert their students to their personal viewpoint and philosophical system.

Last time I checked, before the ACLU and the CA-IR Bears hijacked our liberties…….teachers were supposed to conduct themselves in a neutral manner and not favor any particular political, religious (or non-religious) point of view during classes.

Now the All powerful Multi Culti Dhi-mmi’s decide
what may be taught and exactly how it should be taught.

In our glorious country, freedom of speech is guaranteed by the First Amendment, you know the one that states that:
“Congress shall make no law… abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press….”

By extension, this amendment applies to all governmental institutions, including public universities.

The problem of Lib professors punishing their students and refusing to air opposing views became so huge that an organization known as Students for Academic Freedom, SAF… was founded in 2001 by David Horowitz, to protect students from this prejudiced, liberal bias in U.S. colleges and universities.

Lib profs don’t seem to think that students’ grades should be based on their performance and knowledge alone. No, according to them, it should be based upon their political or religious long as they concur with the professor, that is.

But..I s’ppose that the point, though, innit?

Right wing Professors are fired routinely in this country for daring to express pro-America and pro-Israel viewpoints.

Students may no longer mention God’s name in a graduation ceremony, but the Dhimmicrats can have an “ima-m” lead them in prayer at the Dhimmi National Convention of Deniers.

I’m gonna whisper this now so the DNC doesn’t read it and figure it out….um…..pssst…….”im-ams” represent a religion too.

Oh, and by the way…Are a Priest and Rabbi praying next?

Dang, this is getting old.
Yea. Yea. Charges of “racism”, “bigotry” and “xenophobia” are still the hallmark weapons of the Lib Marxists that this teacher hurled at his student.

They seize onto these labels and use them to stifle or silence dissent, and are slung far and wide with little or no regard for those being accused of the charges.

Justin Boone is an African-American, Does that not make comments comparing him to the KKK especially “derogatory, inflammatory, and demeaning”?

Do the Libs care.
No. Because the the Libs and Dhimmicrats are morally repugnant and historically clueless.

Know your rights my friends.

Academic freedom is a First Amendment right.

(Sweezy v. New Hampshire, 354 U.S. 234 (1957); Keyishian v. Board of Regents, 385 U.S. 589 (1967); Regents of Univ. of Michigan v. Ewing, 474 U.S. 214 (1985). )

United States Supreme Court.

Speaking for the Courtin 1957, Chief Justice Warren declared:

The essentiality of freedom in the community of American
universities is almost self-evident. No one should underes-
timate the vital role in a democracy that is played by those
who guide and train our youth.

To impose any strait jacket upon the intellectual leaders in our colleges and universities would imperil the future of our Nation.

.. Scholarship cannot flourish in an atmosphere of
suspicion and distrust. Teachers and students must always
remain free to inquire, to study and to evaluate, to gain
new maturity and understanding; otherwise our civilization
will stagnate and die.

(Sweezy v. New Hampshire, 354 U.S.
234, 250).

Let the wacademic, self-loathing ceremonies begin.

And, Justin..
More power to ya.

Did somebody mention there were two BLACK HEAD COACHES at the Super Bowl, oh! sorry i thought no one noticed…
Perhaps the football being BROWN and a PIG SKIN, covers all the possible issues..and by the way, the millions bet on the game..they are GREEN.
And the Colts did wear WHITE and the Bears they were in BLACK..the penalty flags were YELLOW and the challenge ones RED…
MY POINT…the time has long past to get over the COLORS involved, and take a risk on dealing with the truth…no matter where it leads will indeed set you free!!!!…if that is where you want to go…

My daughters have gone to Catholic schools all their lives. There is less left-leaning propaganda there, for sure, but they slip some in sometimes. They just can’t help themselves. I think it stems from their college indoctrination.

I feel for the guy because I’ve been there. Even in high school, there were certain viewpoints that you took at your own risk. Everyone knew the political views of the teachers and just what you should say or shouldn’t. Needless to say, I butted heads with my teachers all throughout high school and college. My test was “mysteriously lost” in HS English and it took my folks getting involved to force its reappearance. This was in retaliation for a paper I wrote excoriating communism. Another HS teacher was a rabid socialist. I could go on, but just to say that this guy’s experiences are not unique — they are they norm.

Your blog about that high-school presentation:
As a product of Michigan’s public schools, I can see that so very clearly…
Ah well, somehow, these kids will need to learn how to think. I just don’t know how, other than to start with my own.
