I have my perfect weight, and if I start gaining 3, 4, 5 pounds over that weight, I get busy on the treadmill. The treadmill will get the pounds off, but even better it gets the inches off. Speed walk 3 miles and it does wonders.
I baked three big pans of homemade lasagna yesterday with chocolate dipped strawberries after, yum yum. Time for the treadmill
p.s. I used Splenda in the chocolate for the strawberries, so no sugar.

I’m not buying into it. I would like to see a documented study…but I admit to being cynical.
Either way, exercising three times a week isn’t that much and it’s been clinically documented for effectiveness.
I saw a report yesterday about eating cereal as a means of dieting. Cheerios was at the top of the list. Basically, it stated that you could eat as much Cheerios as you want (2% milk…which I despise).

No, I’m not a couch potato, Angel. I’m a computer potato! LOL! But seriously, I run a Farm and Nursery, and get plenty of excersise. We don’t have to “work out” around here to get excersise. Hard work does the trick. Besides that, we have a second floor. No “stairmaster” needed in this house!

I get my exercise on the golf course :o) and chasing my “Little Joe’s” around, used to be a workout nut, my optimum weight of 217 has now gone up to 230 at 6′5″……..I now just have the Mrs. pack a little exta punch of chilé in all of our meals to sweat off the extra pounds!

I am a huge power walker so I do not worry too much about my consumption of balanced food–it is the treats, which I do allow myself from time to time. I love the Vanilla Carmel ice-cream with chocolate nuggets in it and the nuggets are filled with carmel! YUMMY! Breyers makes it! Now when I indulge in that I walk - and then some! LOL!
