Shoppers are being misled by a new food industry labelling system which can make products appear healthier than they really are, campaigners have claimed.
Shoppers tricked by ‘healthy’ food labelsBut campaigners says manufacturers may use artificially small servings as the basis for the figures, while the consumption data is calculated against the diet of an adult man, making the percentages misleading for children, teenagers and most women.
O.K. Quick quiz………..Without labels mind you.
Healthy or Unhealthy?..You, the consumer decide.

Dang. Now that wasn’t so difficult was it?
Honestly, deep down most of us know what’s good for us…whether we care to admit it or not.
Vegetables are a must on a diet. I suggest carrot cake, zucchini bread, and pumpkin pie.

Y’all are welcome to come on over and present your shrewd intellectual arguments.

I just love your YUMMY post. If only you could eat those pictures! LOL! Well we all know what is good and bad for us. But my motto is that even the bad food is not bad in moderation. We only live once so I say eat right, exercise, and indulge yourself in a treat a couple times a month–in a moderate amount. You won’t gain the pounds and by only treating yourself once in awhile you will not suffer any ill effects. Have fun!!!!
Have a great weekend hun!!!!!

Angel, your post looks delicious and I don’t understand why because I don’t even have a sweet tooth. Correction: most of your post looks delicious. That egg on toast looks like, well…. egg on toast.
I’ll leave a trackback tomorrow, sweety. Too tired tonight. It’s 10:00pm and I just recently got home. I’ve been driving in heavy traffic most of the day and am pooped.
I don’t know if you know where Round Rock, Texas is, so it’s very close to - and north of Austin. If you know where that is. Entering Round Rock this morning there were trees covered with ice along the road. They were beautiful and looked like Christmas decorations but it was a sight old timers around here have never seen before around Round Rock, Texas and I know that’s true because I had an old-timer with me who has lived her entire 70+ years. I think Al Gore must have been visiting Round Rock, because I read that a Global Warming conference was canceled because of an Ice Storm. It seems wherever he goes it’s freezing!
