Ah, I remember a good Irish bar back in Metro Detroit, where the St Patty’s day drinking would start before 7am… And no green beer; they took their booze like men!
I went to university in the Detroit area, and many was the time I’d stop in for a drink on the way home from class, get too hammered on Tullamore Dew, and start expounding on how the Irish were the Jews of Europe… Stomped, dispossesed, and able to blame everything on the English.
Nearly got my ass kicked, until I reached that last point….
