Israeli Satellite Launched to Spy on Iran…tell us..
The satellite is designed to spot images on the ground as small as 27½ inches, an Israeli defense official said. That level of resolution would allow Israel to gather information on Iran’s nuclear program and its long-range missiles, which are capable of striking Israel..
Israel has for years regarded Iran as the primary threat to its survival, disputing Tehran’s claims that its nuclear program is peaceful. Iranian President Mah-moud Ah-madinejad has made this threat more tangible by repeatedly questioning Israel’s right to exist, most recently on Monday, when he said Israel was a “fake regime” that “cannot logically continue to live.”
In the wake of September 11th, views toward Israel have polarized.
Some, in my ahem humble estimation, who are either blinded by self hatred or incapable of reason - take an even-handed view of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, blaming both sides equally and expressing equal levels of sympathy for the terrorist and the victim.
You figure out who’s who.
I’ll give u a hint…
um..the ones who continue to refuse to declare a ceasefire…
the ones employing suicide bombs and attacks on Israeli civilians while justifying this as a legitimate means of ‘being heard’..
the ones who support President Bush’s call for Israeli withdrawal from Gaza and the West Bank so the “peace-loving ” neighbors can launch missles more easily…

ah..o.k. then..
the ones allergic to nonviolent forms of protest..
the ones would allege that they will fully “normalize” (cough cough) relations with Israel if Israel would withdraw to its pre-1967 borders….ya know the War in which they attacked her…
and finally,
the ones who danced in the streets as the World Trade Center collapsed into a heap of rubble and human remains……..
Seems like Israel is fresh out of patience ya’ll……

Yeah, I think, at least I hope, Iran is going to get what Iran so richly deserves. Iran is not only Israel’s primary threat to survival, it has now become ours. Iran, methinks, has bitten off just a bit more than it can chew.

As a side note -I check my fishing spots on google sattelite maps and that crude little map actually shows little foot and a half long buoys for tying up small boats. I understand the military (and I assume Israel) keeps the real sharp focused stuff to themselves. Makes mothers shudder at the thought of their kids not wearing clean underware.
