It seems that Google can’t bring itself to acknowledge Memorial Day on their logo my friends.
Apparently they manage to acknowledge in their logo:
Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Edvard Munch’s Birthday
Google’s 8th Birthday
Happy Halloween
Persian New Year
and a host of others………
So Zombie decided to run a contest and asked some ahem..”artists” to come up with something for the America haters.
Here’s mine.
What do y’all think?

Very nice, Angel.
If Google were decent, we’d see it on top of every one of their pages.
May 29th, 2007 at 7:06 pm
I’m impressed. You are one talented lady!
May 29th, 2007 at 7:41 pm
wOw! That is fantastic Angel!
Take that Google. :p
May 29th, 2007 at 7:51 pm
I LOVE it! More, more! And send this one on to Google, would ya?
May 29th, 2007 at 8:51 pm
Excellent artwork.
It’s a shame that the powers that be at google stand so far to the left that they are unwilling to recognize those that have fallen to give them their freedoms.
May 29th, 2007 at 9:10 pm
Good Googly, Miss Moogly!
Nice one.
May 29th, 2007 at 9:19 pm
Excellent!!
Memorial day 2008 im”h
May 29th, 2007 at 9:38 pm
I think your google logo is spectacular!
May 29th, 2007 at 10:46 pm
Who are the decision makers at Google that decide when and how they will be displayed? Can we as a thinking public make a difference by emailing our displeasure at their lack of sensitivity to our present and past armed forces? We are not WIMPS….
May 29th, 2007 at 11:05 pm
I love it!
May 29th, 2007 at 11:09 pm
You should do one for Karl Marx’s birthday. They’ll like that one.

THANKS Y’ALLS FOR THE KUDOS! ..heh I was goin to make the flag waving but thought that may be a bit over the top!
May 29th, 2007 at 11:17 pm
Very well done! ………stevereenie
May 29th, 2007 at 11:19 pm
oops, I wanted to say it was good to see the flag part. I used to be able to see Donald Trumps controversial Flag at Mara Lago out my living room and dining room windows, but they settled the lawsuit and now there is nothing up. Thought he was going to just move it over a few feet and down a few feet. ……… stevereenie

Fantastico! I posted your photo at my blog post Decoration Day
May 30th, 2007 at 12:11 am
Decoration Day…
It seems that every passing year, Memorial Day is less of a day of gratitude and of poignant remembrance for our dead heroes and more of a three day holiday weekend kicking off the unofficial beginning of Summer. And I blame liberals for this….
May 30th, 2007 at 12:47 am
You are so clever!!! I love it.
Another one they put up was Chinese New Year!
May 30th, 2007 at 12:52 am
…and google is helping to suppress free speech in China. Go to Michelle Malkin’s site and search “google”.
May 30th, 2007 at 1:49 am
Wow! Do you do that kind of thing for hire or something? I sure could use help from time to time for things I can’t draw by myself…
May 30th, 2007 at 2:30 am
Great and creative! I agree with Ogre, you should send it to Google. It might give their liberal little minds something to think about, like maybe who assures them their freedom of speech or their owners/investors to pocket mega-fortunes.
May 30th, 2007 at 6:50 am
So the almighty $$$$$ dollars rules at google too!!!! what a surprise.
Now, who exactly would be offended by noting Memorial Day??
Do have google get back to me on that one…
BTW…great work Angel….
May 30th, 2007 at 8:08 am
That’s a great google logo, Angel. I just hope they don’t sue you for copywrite infringement or anything…
May 30th, 2007 at 8:43 am
It’s wonderful, Angel. I don’t agree that the flag waving would be over the top, although Google might think so.
May 30th, 2007 at 8:51 am
Great image Angel. Google has been like this since it’s inception. No question where their politics are. Thanks.
May 30th, 2007 at 9:51 am
Very nice! I didn’t know you had that kind of talent, Ma’am! Wow!
Google, on the other hand, sux.
May 30th, 2007 at 11:02 am
Wow…I would call that a winner!
I never noticed that Google commemorated dates, I must not have been paying attention. But if they are, they should not have skipped Memorial Day. I guess they didn’t want to insult what they consider to be their core users.
May 30th, 2007 at 11:09 am
Impressive Angel, very impressive! You go girlfriend!

Google doesn’t honor any patriotic holidays. Just the ones the left considers cool. Good job on the logo. Too bad they wouldn’t accept it.
May 30th, 2007 at 12:05 pm
great idea!
i’m no good at these sort of things.
wonder what they’ll NOT do for independence day?
May 30th, 2007 at 12:52 pm
nanc, great point! Nice logo Angel
May 30th, 2007 at 1:09 pm
Of course they are not going to do anything for Memorial Day. Goolag is to busy snitching on brave Chinese dissidents to the Chicoms.
May 30th, 2007 at 1:23 pm
Goolag!..ha..the new name for Google!
THANKS AGAIN ONE AND ALL..AND SURE..U CAN HIRE ME ANYTIME…UM..NAW..JUST PLAYIN..lol
May 30th, 2007 at 1:23 pm
Very cool, love the soldier placement.
May 30th, 2007 at 2:31 pm
Great Work Angel!
I noticed that on Memorial Day when I had to Google something but a few weeks ago when there was something going on about Global Warming Hysteria they had Ice melting down thier letters.
I didnt know Google was Liberal
May 30th, 2007 at 3:29 pm
I preferentially use anything but goolag. That’s a great phrase, by the way. You can do so much with it. Goolag users, drinking the libtard koolag…*insert your limerick here*
May 30th, 2007 at 3:32 pm
Angel,
Outstanding! Truly.
May 30th, 2007 at 4:25 pm
Busy, busy, busy! I´ll try to make some comments after the weekend. All work and no playtime makes Jack a dull boy! (c;
May 30th, 2007 at 4:48 pm
PERSIAN NEW YEAR!!! Angel, that’s amazing! No wonder your site always looks so “purty.” I don’t see how Memorial Day can possibly be partisan. Sigh!

awesome!
May 30th, 2007 at 10:40 pm
anything you search for on Yahoo and Google when it comes to politics always seems to come up with the liberal lists first, too. Ever notice that? Great logo, exactly what they need.
May 30th, 2007 at 11:30 pm
What are you willing to do?…
Really, it’s a very simple question, isn’t it?
What are you willing to do in order to improve the quality of your life? Notice that I did not say “lose weight.”…
May 30th, 2007 at 11:51 pm
Good work, I would suggest “ogle”with the Iwo Jima flag being hoisted
May 31st, 2007 at 12:19 am
THANK U THANK U THANK U ALLS!!
May 31st, 2007 at 12:29 pm
Spectacular! Being a meddler at heart, I just couldn’t resist sending this permalink complete with comments to Google directly, along with the following message:
“Since this directly concerns you and the opinion you are generating with a massive audience, perhaps you would like to consider your policy of ignoring National Holidays such as the recently passed Memorial Day… people are watching your inaction!”
OK, I know… directly to the Trash Bin with barely a wrinkled forehead. So what? It precipitated a huge smile on my face and set the tone for a happy afternoon.
We truly luv ya’, Sweet Angel!

Ooo Rah, Angel
That looks great!
It is a shame how we utilize and even rely on, in some ways, an organization that is soooo far left, that they won’t acknowledge the American heros…
Way to go!
July 7th, 2007 at 6:56 am
You asked…What do y’all think?
I think that was SUPER!
October 9th, 2007 at 9:57 am
I wonder to who the soldier is sneeking up? Fully armed and protected? For myself, if I am free to tell my opinion, this looks too aggressive and the flowers won’t help making it more peaceful as long as the soldier is carrying his M16 and “waiting around the corner”.
