Trafficking Women Muzlim Style
The Bush administration on Tuesday added seven nations, including several key U.S. allies in the Middle East, to its human trafficking blacklist for failing to halt what it called the scourge of “modern-day slavery.”
7 Nations Added to Trafficking List
Countries on the list are subject to sanctions for not doing enough to stop the yearly flow of some 800,000 people, 80 percent of them female and up to half of them children, across international borders for the sex trade and other forms of forced and indentured labor.
Among U.S. friends getting a failing grade were Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar, which along with Algeria, Equatorial Guinea and Malaysia joined for the first time perennial offenders like Myanmar (Burma), Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria in the State Department’s annual “Trafficking in Persons Report.”
Most of this year’s additions to “Tier 3″ are Mus-lim or predominantly Mus-lim nations, many of which have the means to enforce foreign workers’ rights and anti-trafficking laws.
So Muzlim nations lead the world in sex slavery……
But keep puttin yer women in burkaz k.
Women and children are subjected to violence, rape, battery, vicious cruelty, pressure and and coercion.
And……..What do governments do to protect women.
Well, for one thing, they sit around discussing “root causes”…you know… poverty, unemployment, and they use terms like “lack of education” and “access to resources” a whole heck of a lot.
Many men and admittedly some pathetically self hating women patently refuse to draw the correlation between prostitution and pornography and crimes against women.
Women don’t become victims of trafficking due to the “feminisation of poverty” or some other fancy terms like “gender discrimination”.
They become victims because they don’t have the physical strength to crush the skull of the man who is dragging them clear across town to his whorehouse.
The second reason it continues to thrive is because there is a humongous male market for sex, and perverse, torturous sex.
Men will buy “it.”
Why doesn’t it stop?
Because no one gives a damn.
NO ONE.
There exist international networks with political support and economic resources in countries of origin, transit and destination. How convenient eh.
Male law enforcement officials are corrupt and accept bribes to “look the other way.” Trafficking in women is a major source of income for organized crime groups.
Do they drag all these women off the street?
Hell no.
Traffickers approach women by advertising in newspapers. For guess what?
“Dancers”, waitresses, or even club hostesses. They recruit in discotheques and bars.
They even use marriage bureaus to lure unsuspecting and naiive women.
Not to mention that women are more emotional and trusting than men..and yes…….gentler by nature…so they actually listen to false promises by “recruiters.”
But, but, but…Can’t these women fight back?
No.
Why.
Because as no one wants to admit…They’re girls.
Women.
They are threatened with violence, beaten up and raped by big, strong, burly, brutal MEN.
They are physically restrained to prevent them from leaving, and no, they can not throw a sucker punch while being bound and gagged.
Do not kid yourselves boys and girls.
The alleged fight against trafficking in women and children has less than zero political priority by most governments.
If I hear the term “promoting gender equality” one more time……..
Genders are not bloody equal.
If they were, women would be able to physically prevent the occurances at least most of the time……..and …..men would be trafficked by women ..now wouldn’t they?
Instead of hearing terms like “strengthening a multidisciplinary approach”, we would hear terms like castration and captial punishment for men found selling 9 year old girls to violent, sadistic men who spend years raping, brutalizing and torturing them.
Crime prevention means halting or reducing crime. Not talking about crime.
So Muzlim countries…….Congrads. At least your’e #1 at somethin.

Thanks for addressing this sickening crime. I came across some theologically liberal Christians this week who think the Bible is anti-women (one of these foolish people just got out of seminary and appears to just make it up as he goes along). But they not only ignore Islam but they think it is an equally valid path to God.

Many enabling “roots” here, Angel. However, the main root which sustains existing feeders (and propagates new ones) is your well made point that simply no one really cares.
It remains ironic how naked the leftie’s false concerns for ‘humanity’ actually are. Yet the silence from liberals is nearly universal. The left is a conglomeration of selective cause, information cherry pickers driven with only agenda in focus. Facts are plain, available and easily discerned by folks truly interested in truth. Liberals are not.
Unfortunately, many Conservatives are also quite passive and quiet in this arena, too. Perhaps that is because of the seemingly overwhelming magnitude of our many other current day threats and the need to select the fights that appear most dangerous. But this is a peril that operates below most people’s radar.
Maybe that is the case, but it is a poor excuse providing a platform to ignore. All persons should reckon with the reality that to ignore is to condone.

I thought the burka was supposed to ensure that women weren’t viewed as objects” Sadly, it doesn’t. The Muslim world hasn’t grasped that it isn’t what you wear that makes you more than an object, it is the abstract concept of individual rights for men and women.
But since on the surface Muslim’s don’t want to appear to “objectify” their women, they simply import other women to objectify.

What I find most repulsive is that there is a large market here in the United States for these stolen and abused women.
If you remove the demand, the market will collapse.
We need to look at ourselves, not just those who force women into prostitution and slavery.

Degradation and exploitation of other human beings takes many forms. What you have described in regard to trafficking women is perhaps the worst. It also occurs in the exploitation of illegal aliens right here in our own country. Greed and power will always be driving factors of such things. Greed and power also drive political systems and the individuals that rise within them. There will be political support for such exploitation as long as evil exists in this world.

I agree with the burly man. The people who buy and sell other people are criminals, not general men off the street. Furthermore, not all of us men are these hulking masses of muscles and raw power. Some of us place much more emphasis on the mind (though I’m *still* single, so apparently that doesn’t work).

Islamists have always used slavery as a means to “strengthen” Islam against it’s enemies (anyone else in the world). It predates the US war against the Barbary pirates and has continued. They seek to make the world dhimmi slaves and it makes no difference whether it is men, women or children. How anyone can call that screwball cult a religion is beyond my grasp.

Let’s not forget the kids and women who are intimidated into staying slaves with promises of starvation, homelessness, ‘dishonor’ and ‘you’ll get worse than what you get here.’
If our men were truly men nowadays, this would be stopped IMMEDIATELY. They would beat the hell out of and/or kill the offending males.

I would also add that the feminists have got it wrong…the answer is not to try to make women stronger (they are plenty powerful - well, that’s an understatement - they are (through God and Nature) the source of all power.
The answer is to make men care enough to put a stop to the madness. Oddly enough, it’s only Woman herself who has power to elicit that level of caring.

Not true.
It’s just not a priority for those in power, many of whom have “friends” making big money off this industry. It’s the same reason they haven’t stopped Bin Laden yet.

Angel this is heavy thinking for just a day or so before your vacation (or are you doing this on vacation???). The only solution I’ve come up with is to arm every woman and child in these countries with really big butcher knives. She can hide it in her robes…tuck it away until the time is right.

Many Christians have been screaming about this for years, but since the MSM has it out for Christians, all you hear are crickets chirping, even when the issue the’re talking about like say Darfur or sexual slavery is one that most sane people would want to know about and try to clamp down on.

I just want to let you know that when I was active duty Air Force about a year ago we had to take an online course about combatting trafficing of humans. It was really hard hitting, and hopefully eye opening to many people who otherwise wouldn’t have been aware of the rampant problems (thanks to our PC society). I hope that those who took the training, and those who read your site, or find eye opening information on other sites, will not just put their blinders back on, but instead use their freedoms to speak up and be heard by their representatives so we can fight terror in all its forms. We must not cave under PC pressure.

People do not care because, they have no knowledge. People go about their days thinking, “ Nothing in this world is wrong, and every thing is great! If there was something wrong in this world , I would know about it.”
Were all too busy to even think about others in our families, let alone some poor soul who’s been kidnapped, raped, beaten and treated like property. But hell that’s what they have become, due to “poor up bringing, and lack of education,…” (Words the government tosses around to rationalize the wrong in this world. )
I just wish there was more that I could do to help. Maybe if I was wealthy I could go and buy all the people, bring them to America, let them tell their stories, and then see what gets done about the rest of the crappy situations.
And I do not think that religion has any thing to do with this. The money is there, and its easy for them to do it to women. We are smaller, and lets face it, not strong enough to kick a grown mans ass. Regardless of what you believe you must agree that slavery is wrong in all forms, in all times and to all people forced into it.
