Politically Correct or Off BeaM?
Hollywood has spawned a series of propaganda films all packaged as entertaining adventure stories replete with big budgets, big stars, bright colors and amazing technical effects.
.. George Clooney’s 2005 film “Syriana” features a CIA plot to blow up a soft-spoken, highly sympathetic Saudi Prince who, doggone it, was just about to free all the women in his country and usher in a modern era.
Obviously, only dirty American oil politics is holding progress at bay in the otherwise peace-loving and tyrant-free A-rab Middle East.
In 2006, Brad Pitt starred in “Babel,” a pretentious but “high concept” adventure story set in four geographical locations, including Morocco, where the Mus-lim terrorists are depicted as soulful and sympathetic.
People of color are the victims, Caucasians are their victimizers. Hollywood rides to the rescue!
“A Mighty Heart,” starring Angelina Jolie, is yet another propaganda film masquerading as an action drama. The film is presumably about Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal reporter kidnapped, tortured, and gruesomely beheaded by Is-lamists who made sure the grisly video of their handiwork was viewed by millions on the Internet.
What we see, instead, are Hollywood’s “good Indians.” This time they are Pakistani Mus-lim policemen who only want to help find Pearl’s kidnappers.
Indeed, the film does not condemn Is-lamic terrorism at all and only once whispers the name “Al Qa-eda.”
Clooney, Pitt and Jolie.
Real America and Jew lovers. Right.
With all due respect…
I find it unfathomable that Daniel Pearl’s wife sanctioned this film.
The real “sensitive” suspected top al-Q–aida operative, who beheaded Daniel Pearl.
Political correctness is nothing short of communal despotism.
Anyone who steps outside the lines Hollywood has drawn for us, are transgressors and must be punished.
If you portray the Truth as You see it, be prepared for relentless hounding by the PC mob, if not prosecution by the state.
Can you say ACLU?..oh and their siamese twisted twin, the unindicted co-conspirators of Ham-ASS terrorists :CA-IR.
The rationale, if you can even call it that, for the PC totalitarianism is to prevent certain people from. “being offended”.
Certain people of their choosing.
It’s a “no no” to use words or behaviour that may upset the delicate balance of homosexuals, blacks..or perhaps we should say “non-whites”, and the ones who tipped the seethe-o-meter till it broke: Muzlims.
If you even attempt to speak Truth, as you understand it, or heaven forfend draw cartoons or utilize humor, you are instantly branded as racist, Izlamophobic. homophobic… and risk losing your job, reputation, or even becoming subject to judicial penalty along with the expected Muzlim death threats.
Demands by these special interest groups have been incessantly made for restrictions on freedom of expression. Bowing to the clamour and whining of the gay and Muzlim communities, laws have been enacted.
Some things are classified as “hate speech.”
Calling homo-sexuality a “sin”, immoral or aberrant behavior invites losing your job or unending societal reproach.
Any truth other than their own, gets positioned neatly in a straightjacket.
But somehow…this doesn’t.
This..is “free speech”.
Hiding behind the the notion of not wanting to “upset anyone”, the PC mob manages to abide relentless hatred, both outright and disguised in humor against half the citizens of the world : Women.
In books, magazine articles, on television, in comedy routines, and unendlingly- in pornography.
But starlets are too preoccupied undressing for the camera, doing the latest swimsuit photo shoot and throwing up their latest meal to fret about their objectification and gradual de-humanization.
Freedom of expression. Uh Huh.
For the chosen few.
Christians and Jews must suffer mendacity and even fatalities as they are not on the PC special people “list”.
Hollyweird and the PC mob lie:
The premise that “all cultures are equal”, genders are “the same”,and that no value judgments can be made about any of them. Pfffft.

I try to avoid the propaganda films, but Hollywood is always sneaking their lies in there. Saw Shooter the other night. Was not happy about it’s portrayal of everything being about oil and money. Hollywod says they only make films that make money, but none of their big prpaganda films seem to make a lot of money. So then they call them artistic…yeah. Right. Artistic trash.

People seem to forget that the original idea behind “poitical correctness” was that folks had a “right” not to be offended. It took off, and grew into a monster from there.
There is no “right” to avoid offense. That’s bunk. If you can’t get through life without being offended by something every day, and learning to with it, then you’ve got some kind of mental problem (or you’re a muslim, but that’s a different issue).

It’s lunacy, pure and simple, and it probably will ultimately get a helluva lot of people killed. Good for you, Angel, that you can sit through the Hollywood displays of self grandeur and spin. I can’t do it and I won’t. The fact that you do and report the individual items listed above is a reminder to me why I don’t. At least you see what is there, rather than the bulk of viewers who go there for instructions on how and what to think. Thank you for your service to all of us.

They hate an America that is morally straight and better than the rest of the world — so they actively work, using tools like “PC” to bring the good America down. Great post! The PC nonsense and walking on eggshells needs to stop. The end result is nothing positive, preventative, or corrective can ever be done. This sort of behavior by corrupt officials has already cost far too many Americans their lives and careers!
I am no longer in the Air Force, partly because I was not a “yes man,” and partly because Congress decided to trim the ranks by 40,000 in the middle of a war, and partly because my complaints about an unhealthy work environment were ignored and I developed a health problem. I’ll get around to posting the story someday, but it will most likely be book sized. LOL

One of the BEST movies ever made was One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest!
I made a point of reading the book to get a better view of the author’s underlying points. As good a movie as this was the HollyWood spin on it was to lionize the inmates and demonize those responsible for their care.
After this I found that the folks in LaLa Land pretty much always tend to identify with the deranged.
By and Large the media and entertainment folks can’t tell the difference!

I cant believe how different Angelina Jolie and her father John Voight are. I saw Voight on O’reilly not to long ago and he is a big supporter of our Troops, and seems to lean more conservative than his daughter.
It’s almost as if this Generation of Hollywood actors are so mindnumb and empty headed it’s hard to believe they are the children and/or grandchildren of the once great Hollywood actors that believed in America and were willing to help out in our war efforts in WWII.
I dont even go to the movies anymore because of all the crap they spew, ie: Sean Penn for instance.
Hopefully someday things will change.

Remember when Hollywood supported patriotism and the war efforts in which the United States was involved? Not much of that support any longer. The lefties are in control of film production, for the most part.
Even War of the Worlds was tweaked by Spielberg to slap the Bush administration–in Spielberg’s own eyes.
One of the most atrocious of Spielberg’s films was Munich. The film shamelessly tried to garner sympathy for terrorists and was blatantly anti-Israel.
The few conservatives in Hollywood get little press and screen time.

People do get offended too easily. That is why I formed P.O.O.P. People Offended by Offended People. I think I am still the sole member but as I can now get offended easily, it is worth the effort and I don’t feel so left out.
