We have 4 seasons in our part of the world, although we don’t get to see leaves change colors too much. You have to have a lot of trees to see those and we are very limited on trees here! I love the changes because it reminds me that God is the same even when everything else around us is changing!
September 27th, 2007 at 8:29 am
In about two weeks, the leaves will start to change in Appalachia, and it will be really beautiful. There will be a crisp breeze, and it will be flannel shirt weather. Fall and winter are my favorite times of the year.

We very rarely see four seasons too, Angel. Sometimes we have three. Summer, Winter and Spring. Usually it goes from Summer to Winter and forgets all about Fall! Well, the leaves fall off the trees but it’s usually quite cold when they do.

As great a season Fall is (particularly in New York)… warm days, cool nights, football, apples and pumpkins, state fairs, back-to-school, Thanksgiving and so on, it always leaves me feeling melancholy that another summer has passed. I know many (maybe most?) enjoy the changing of the seasons but I like year-round warm weather with the option of traveling north whenever I need a cold fix.

Fall is such an introspective, beautiful time of year.

Here’s one I like,
Leaves: By Elsie Brady
How silently they tumble down
And come to rest upon the ground
To lay a carpet, rich and rare,
Beneath the trees without a care,
Content to sleep, their work well done,
Colors gleaming in the sun.
At other times, they wildly fly
Until they nearly reach the sky.
Twisting, turning through the air
Till all the trees stand stark and bare.
Exhausted, drop to earth below
To wait, like children, for the snow.
Enjoy the fall …

Obama may have Oprah , But Hillary has “Meathead”
Hillary Clinton picked up the endorsement of another Hollywood Moonbat Liberal movie director Rob Reiner. Reiner, who played Mike Stivic on TV’s “All in the Family,” has offered to do “everything I can” to elect Clinton.
He said ” I will support her, stump for her, throw a fund raiser parties for her, and do anything to help ger her elected.
Listen Meathead, if you want to contribute to her campaign, throw parties for her etc, that’s just peachy. But who do you think you are endorsing anyone? You are not a Union, a Newspaper or anything that even resembles one. Vote for whoever you please, but when are you and your Hollywood cronies going to learn that you are here to entertain us, not to educate us and certainly not to preach to us.
So don’t tell us what to do and who to vote for, and stop pointing that finger at me!
