Cultural Jeehad Moves Foward

Wowza.

Lookie here.
I was gone a scant few days and this is what transpired on this ole globe of ours eh.

1-Muzlims get to pray at our Pentagon.

Separation of Mos-que and State?..Nahzombie.gif

2-Our US House of Representatives passes a resolution in recognition of Ra-ma-dan. What next..Qu-ds Day?
uhh.gif

Q-uds Hatefest Lallapallooza Day, you know the lil celebration held every year on the last Friday of Muzlims’ fasting month of Ram–adan, named by none other than the late founder of the Izzlamic Republic, Im-am Kho-meini, as a day to rage, burn flags and basically protest of the Izzlamic Um-mah against the..ahem…cough cough.. “brutality of the Zionist regime and the evil Satanic West.”

A hatefest reiterating the “importance of Jerusalem to Muzlims”?..ha When do the parades and ragefests start which emphasize the importance of “the Vatican” to Muzlims huh. thumbsdown.gif

Photos of the “youths” partying:
(Courtesy AP and Reuters.)

3-Our very own President hosts his 7th If-tar dinner to honor..cough cough… Ra-ma-dan..and um… states that terrorists don’t represent Izzlam. Mmkkkay.

Bush: Terrorists don’t represent Is-lam

No matter that the very word I-slam means “submission, conquest, and pacification” , not ..ahem… “peace”. Ah, yes the peace of frightened dhimm-is bullied and humiliated into submission.

De-Nial is a river on Pennsylvania Avenue apparently.

“President and Mrs. Bush host an iftar dinner every year because they want people around the world to know how much they respect Is–lam and the many Mus–lims living in the U.S. who are free to worship as they want, and are an integral part of our society,”

How pleasant to see our Commander in Chief defending the “Death to Israel” and “Death to America” squads eh.

Perhaps Israel should try offerin Pres. Bush a greater stock option porfolio than the Sau-dis…ya think.
moneyani.gif

Not to confuse the issue with facts but both Muzlim holy books the…Qur–an and Ha–dith contain overt commands for Muzlims to subjugate the world..yes that means: militarily. …not some ji-hadi “inner struggle’” for peace and love beads.
hippieaa.gif

Muuh-am-mad commanded Muzlims to spread Izlam through Ji–had..the conquest of non-Muzlim lands, which he proceeded to do throughout the free world a scant 13 centuries ago.
Time flies when your’e jihading, now don’t it?

With all due respect, Mr. President, read :S–ura 29:5 in the k-oran where they stipulate death to Jews and Christians unless they pay a special tax or jizz-ya and must live forever as second class citizens, if they are permitted to live that is. “There is Joo hiding behind the rock… kill him..”

And lessee now: How many times is “Palestine” even mentioned in the Ko–ran? Um….that would be zero, as in none, never.

I spose it escapes these raging maniacs that Jews have been in Jerusalem for more than 3000 years, while Izlam showed up literally hundreds of years later (about 1,600 years later)… But..er….Israel is somehow a Muzlim-Pale-stinian land?
Uh huh. Gotcha.

Oh and by the way……..Did the “Cali-phate” claim Dearborn Michigan as their land yet? Just askin.

Their children: the future splodeydopes of the religion of Piece(s):

4-Eichmandinjeehad has just gone on record for the upteenth time stating that Israel should be eliminated from the Middle East.

The Izzlamic world’s silence and tacit approval are yet again, predictably deafening.
Where are the allegedly moderate, yet devout Muzlims raging and condemning this Hitler wanna be? Isn’t that part of the Rama-dan Q-ud Festival or did I miss that in the brochure?

And no mention of this Mr. President?

Rampaging Mus-lims have killed 10 Christians, injured 61 others, destroyed nine churches and displaced more than 500 people in northern Nigeria, according to eyewitnesses – all because Mus-lim high school students claimed a Christian student had drawn a cartoon of Is-lam’s prophet, Muh-am-mad, on the wall of the school’s mos-que.

Again! 10 Christians slaughtered over alleged Muh–ammad cartoon

I gotta question.

WHO, pray tell Mr. President, ARE the terrorists?

Mind bleach anyone?

Hi Angel….i see your short vacation brought you back with a vengeance.
I missed your “right-on” take regarding the Izmo ,a-rab, Koranic swinging ,camel riders. Your animations would make Disney jealous.
Keep up the good fight, who knows the “Lord” may log in to your site and deem it necessary to bring a Flood or perhaps 10 plagues to eliminate the walking turban vermin…till then “keep your friends close but your enemies closer”
    And welcome back……..

Never submit to the jihadis Angel. They have nothing less than the extermination of the west in mind.

By the way, did you notice that they don’t teach their future “splodeydopes” to spell? “Israil” indeed (just above the “youths partying”). Isn’t it Israel?

    Perri,

“Israil” is just how the Arabs pronounce it (or “Isra-eel”, if you want to be even more descriptive). It makes for a nice pun, though: “Israil” because the Muslim world “is rail”ing against it, just as “Islam” means “I slam” every other religion and way of life.

Angel, I think your snipes at the President are unjustified. How do you arrive at the conclusion that President Bush is defending “death to Israel” and “death to America” squads?

Furthermore, I see nothing wrong with the acknowledgment of Ramadan. And to show respect.

The ACLU wants to wipe out religious expression altogether. President Bush is the anti-thesis to this, and has welcomed religious expression. Christian traditions and Jewish traditions have both been celebrated at the White House, as well as Muslim traditions.

I find it disheartening to have conservative allies who express unrelenting hatred and attacks on a faith that is recognized by 1.5 billion Muslims. Many of whom are not our enemies; yet, who stand to become as much, when the real enemy can just point to stuff like what you wrote, and say, “see brothers? They are not your friends….they hate you every bit as much as you should hate them.”

Muslims- good Muslims as well as the bad ones- have been dying at the hands of their violent brethren. Many Iraqis who are on our side have lost their lives fighting the “jihadists”. And many of them claim to be Muslims.

Cmdr. Saifulislam said he has presided over funerals of young Muslim service members who have given their lives in the fight against terrorism.

Well the “E” thingy spelling is because arabic has not got any e in it! You never nearly hear an arab call Palestine for what it is, instead it is pronounced “Philistin”! - Which of course would be the name of the land area should have been arabic from the beginning as some arabs claim…

Very good post (as allways). I might be an Agnostic, but I belive in the right for people to have a beliefe (:::) And I also KNOW, with absolutely sceartaincy that there are more benigne beliefs than others. Sadly- over a biljon people belive in a madmans scriptures! Many times out of ignorance or illitteraturism, but sadly to say, all to often because they have understood the quran and the ahadiths all to well!’

“Kill, Rape and Pillage” is the message in these unholy scriptures. So a good moslem HAS to do just that…

    Shees!

  9. Daniel says:

I wish someone would tell the radical Muslims that Israel wasn’t theirs before the Joos moved in. It hadn’t belonged to any Arab country for a while, but instead Britain owned it. They seem to think they always lived there.

  10. Defiant_Infidel says:

Angel, I think that your salvos at the President’s preposterous EFFECTIVE endorsements of the activities of terrorist Muslims is absolutely spot on, long overdue and should be widely replicated!

I am beyond fed up with the endless Rosy Glasses worn by the droves of PC lock steppers who choose to see only the alleged “good” that is meant by the Muslims who choose not (yet) to commit acts of atrocity against INNOCENTS! The idea that their collective SILENCE about these unprovoked horrors somehow places them on the side of goodness is utterly ridiculous, induly oversimplified and overwhelmingly dangerous.

Until Muslims step up and universally condemn the acts of terrorists, speak out LOUDLY about the glaring holes in their Quran’s mandates and publicly rewrite or divorce themselves from it… THEY ARE MY ENEMY! Not knowing the content of their Quran and pleading ignorance is no more of an excuse than it would be for violation of any law. When they stand shoulder to shoulder with the civilized world and denounce the murderous acts as unacceptable without preconditions, I will consider and weigh their sincerity by their DEEDS, not just what they profess.

I spent several years living in the Arab Middle East. Upon arrival there, I immediately began learning their language, their food and learning their culture. I worked within their daily schedules, prayer interuptions, midday periods of rest and made every effort to properly assimulate into their society. I respected all that was theirs. I did not try to build my own little corner of the USA there. I did not impose MY culture upon them… I considered myself a GUEST and that in itself was a self lauded privelage.

How many of those sentiments/efforts do we witness HERE with a reversed situation?

They blatantly, very clearly and repeatedly tell us that we will convert, pay extra taxes and become dhimmi “dogs” of our own society or be killed. Those are our choices in their dedicated journey to Caliphate.

The footnotes, special conditions, or exceptions to the above imposed rules will be… NONE!

‘Religious expression’ my posterior… this is a murderous CULT. But we should ignore what IS and continue expressing progressive “hope” about what little, muted scrids of re-imaged positives we keep straining to uncover. Respect is EARNED, not COMMANDED.

I find it disheartening and downright DISTURBING to keep discovering those amongst us who endlessly attempt to paint pretty out of pure ugly. We can’t speak what IS because the TRUTH might be used to make our enemies “more angry with us”. Well, ain’t that just a damn tight box we built around ourselves. We didn’t provoke this. Yet we can’t talk about it realistically because we might give them reason to go off on another killing spree because we “insulted” them.

Any fence sitters who can’t quite figure out whether they want to be good or evil, my suggestion is to fall off the evil side. Why? Because, if you have to consider the question, there is something extremely important missing from your human composition.

NEWS FLASH: When the hell will WE be allowed to be “insulted” by their continued perpetrations of senseless genocide? How many of US must we sacrifice before we can object and not be chastized as politically, socially and culturally “out of bounds”?

Where is my “BS” stamp and a big, fat, juicy ink pad???

To ignore this is nothing more than rose tinted STUPIDITY, and this stupid disease is spreading like the plague. For the rest of you, dig in and fill up (and be identified for your true colors)… I refuse to swallow anymore.

I’m not gonna touch that one — though it’s tempting!

What we really need is to find renewable fuel sources to take the place of petroleum. The US (and Canada), with our agricultural base, is set prime for biofuels, which are a fairly well-developed technology.

Israel has an excellent pool of scientifically and technically trained people, and could lead in new technologies, such as fusion, using that to produce fuel.

OPEC’s star is going down, but the West’s star is rising in many ways (and I group Israel, culturally, with the West).

Then where will this Saudi-hatred-tolerating oilmen’s portfolios be? On their knees submitting?

  14. Amy Proctor says:

I have to agree with Wordsmith. I used to think along the same lines as Angel, but my husband is active duty Army, an OIF vet… let me give you a bit of background that changed my view.

My husband is in the chaplain’s corps (he’s an E-8, Master Sergeant) and the biggest liability the U.S. has does not understand Islam and Muslims. If we do not get this we will lose the war. He has since served with Combat Developments writing Army doctrine for war fighting and most recently served under GEN Petraeus until he took command of MNF-I earlier this year. My husband recently wrote a manual on understanding Shiaism that has been posted Army wide for instruction on dealing with these Muslims in order to win the war. Religion is a vital piece of counterinsurgency. I understand GEN Petraeus has read it and given it two thumbs up. I cannot link to it because it is still “For Official Use Only”. But someday……

Anbar Province was won because chaplains started meeting with sheiks and imams as religious equals. Our friend, who is a MAJ in the Army and a Muslim serving in Iraq with MNF-I wrote this to me not long ago:

I had the privilege of meeting and talking with an Iraqi SF (Security Force) LTC (Lieutenant Colonel) who operates in Anbar Province. I asked him specifically what his thoughts are about engaging religious leaders (Imams) here in theater. He was very receptive and excited about such an endeavor. Here are a few things that he shared with me: l
    - Imams are VERY influential leaders in the community and MUST be engaged.
    - Imams welcome the opportunity to talk with American “imams” (meaning chaplains) as brothers.
…..The most eye-opening thing he said was that many Imams are intimidated constantly by ‘bad guys’. If they openly preach in support of CF they are killed. If they preach neutral sermons they are threatened and asked why they do not encourage support for the insurgency, and they are threatened with death if they do not show public support of insurgent groups. The bad guys do this because THEY ARE AFRAID of the influence and power of the Imams and faithful, devout congregations.

There is no such thing as Islamic terrorism, but there have always been Muslim terrorists. Today there are many alienated extremists who rely on their own resort to violence in protest against perceived injustice, rather than relying on the jihads of akbar, saghrir, and kabir, with the help of Allah and ecumenical cooperation in peacefully building a better world. In effect, these extremists rely on and worship themselves. They are exhibiting the most serious crime condemned in the Qur’an, which is the root of almost all the other crimes, namely, arrogance. They are committing the crime of hirabah, which is the attack on the very roots of civilization, and justifying it in the name of Islam. There can be no greater evil and no greater sin. If there is to be a clash of civilizations, a major cause will be the muharibun, those who commit inter-civilizational hirabah.

There is only one effective cure for such hirabah. This is cooperation by the heretofore silent majority of both Muslims and those of other faiths in a jihad to marginalize extremism by putting their own houses in order through the pursuit of peace through justice.

In July 2006, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki addressed the United States Congress in Washington, D.C. saying:

Thank you for your continued resolve in helping us fight the terrorists plaguing Iraq, which is a struggle to defend our nation’s democracy and our people who aspire to liberty, democracy, human rights and the rule of law. All of those are not Western values; they are universal values for humanity.

I know that some of you here question whether Iraq is part of the war on terror. Let me be very clear: This is a battle between true Islam, for which a person’s liberty and rights constitute essential cornerstones, and terrorism, which wraps itself in a fake Islamic cloak; in reality, waging a war on Islam and Muslims and values.

The truth is that terrorism has no religion. Our faith says that who kills an innocent, as if they have killed all mankind.

We’ve seen Iraqis turn against al-Qaeda and insurgents particularly in Al Anbar Province, which include the cities of Haditha, Ramadi and Fallujah. They have turned toward Coalition forces only as we “win hearts and minds” by familiarizing ourselves with their religious customs and terminology, showing that we are not the enemy. Aside from that, Iraqis see the hopelessness of hirabah and are emboldened to turn against the movement and its participants as an act of religious devotion. WE NEED TO CAPITALIZE ON THIS.

When we properly call terrorism hirabah rather than jihad, we alienate terrorists like al-Qaeda from the Muslim population and marginalize their efforts. In doing so, we show consideration for the Muslim religion, no matter what our personal opinions may be on the religion itself, and persuade good Muslims to support the effort against apostates like Osama bin Laden and the rest.

Calling terrorists “jihadists” may be more en vogue than referring to it as hirabah, but we legitimize apostates like Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahiri and Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah in the Islamic world if we refer to their terror as jihad. It’s murder, terrorism and hirabah. This is why the war on terror can be won; Muslims want to stop the assault on their religion as much as the rest of us do.

Killing innocent civilians in the name of Allah is not Jihad and Muslims know it… they’re simply waiting for us to understand this as well.

That said, since 9/11 we’ve been asking where the moderate Muslims are and why they aren’t speaking up against terrorism in the name of their religion. 1) They’ve had a collective knife to their throats by heretics and apostates like terrorist groups within the religion and 2) they are and we totally disregard it.

The group Yeh Hum Naheen, which means “this (terrorism) is not us” and the campaign have been virtually ignored or discounted by us as Muslims struggle to overcome the hijacking of their religion by murderous apostates. We ask them to step up and then we tell them they’re fakes. I’m sure that wins hearts and minds.

I posted some footage on my blog of an Iraqi terrorist trained in al-Qaeda camps in Iraq when Saddam was in power. The footage of the interrogation of this Sunni terrorist in 2005 by Shia Iraqi police is incredible. He had raped and murdered in the name of Islam and his interrogator called him a bastard and asked, “Is THIS Jihad???” He asked because obviously it isn’t. Near the end of the footage, the Sunni Iraqi terrorist was moved almost to tears by his humane treatment from the Shia Iraqi troop that he said,

“I never believed Shiites could show such respect and care. We were taught by people like Mullah Al-Raikan that Shi’a is not Islam.”

    I highly recommend the video.

We cannot have a “carpet bomb Muslims” mentality. It comes down to this; whether or not you like Islam theologically or not (I don’t), do we want to win the war on terror or not? I’ve seen our friends die for this cause and to us it is worth understanding the enemy, not to befriend him but to marginalize him and defeat him. This also means understanding the good Muslims who reject terrorism within their religion and giving them the tools they need to clean house in their own religion.

And we are hypocrites if we don’t see that every religion has its apostates. Christianity’s apostates don’t show themselves as suicide bombers… no, they’re far more sinister because they don’t hurt the body, they kill the soul. They are pastors who promote gay marriage or fornication, abortion or living your Christian life by your own commandments rather than God’s. This leads people down a flowery road of “love and tolerance” when the real Christian message is not so tolerant. It is about obedience to Christ, a cross and total self-denial. So we have our own terrorists, they just look sweeter, but they are wolves in sheep’s clothing.

You have to like Islam. I personally don’t and consider it a false religion, but good Muslims have the right to worship in their religion as Christians and Jews do in theirs. And just because we see flag burnings and rock-throwing rallies on the news doesn’t mean they represent the religion; it’s like a day in the life of the war in Iraq. What gets coverage are the bombings and murders, not the water system that was just opened in Barquba or the schools that opened around the country with 7 million new students attending classes. No, it’s the one suicide bomber that takes the headline. This is the same phenomenon which occurs in how we get our information about Islam. Don’t rely on the MSM for it.

When Pres. Bush went into a mosque in D.C. after 9/11, he did the right thing. He wasn’t collaborating with or validating the enemy; he was dividing and conquering. That is, making a clear distinction between the apostate Muslims like bin Laden, et al, and faithful Muslims.

So do we want to win the argument or win the war?

    Respectfully submitted…..

  15. Mike's America says:

Well, I was going to weigh in here on the whole moderate Muslim thing, but Amy did such an incredible job I don’t need to.

I would just add that our focus should be on combatting the creep of Shariah Law in the U.S. And at what point do draw the line for taxpayer funded facilities for Muslims? Prayer rooms ok, but not footbaths at airports or schools?

These questions need to be asked and the debate should recognize the complexity and sensitivity of the issue.

  16. Jungle mom says:

What a day we live in! I am disappointed in the President as well and frankly sick to death with all this PC nonsense. Islam is th evil enemy and there really are no moderates, only enablers.

  17. Mike's America says:

Jungle Mom: I guess it all centers on the definition of Jihad. Amy did an excellent job above differentiating between jihad and hirabah.

I think it is wrong to assume that all Islam is evil simply because we see it as a flawed religion.

There are moderate Muslims who do not support the overthrow of the U.S. Constitution and it’s replacement by Shariah Law. They also reject the murdering of innocents as a command by Allah.

Amy cited some examples and there are many more. It’s a shame that we couldn’t even get PBS to carry a program about how these moderates are fighting back against the honor killings of women in Denmark.

  18. Outsider says:

Wordsmith, I’m with you too. One of the greatest danger of a war is the damage it does inside a society. The US was built on certain principles, one of them being tolerance. Changing them is an admission of defeat in itself. This tolerance comes with obligations for the people being “tolerated”, for want of a better word, as they must show the same tolerance to others. So it is a two-way thing and not a case of “appeasement”.

Plus, the idea of sharia law in the US is ridiculous. Don’t forget also that there are numerous Muslims that fled countries with sharia law. It is not something that the majority of Muslims aspire to.

  19. Gayle says:

I’ve read the entire comment thread here. Although there are differences of opinion on your post, Angel, the commentors have all been civil and polite, which says a lot for your blogging friends! :)

I’ve posted on the difference between Jihad and Hirabah, which more or less generated the same sort of disagreement on that post. For the record, I don’t agree that all Muslims are evil murderous b*stards who would kill us if given half a chance, but I would definitely like to see more of them speaking out against radical Islam. I have to admit to being confused by our President these days. He is now trying to stop the execution in Texas of an illegal alien who raped and murdered two girls by strangulation. I’m sure you’ve heard about it because it’s on the news today. I don’t claim to know all the answers, I only claim to be confused. There may be reasons for what he does that I don’t understand. Yes, I’m trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I’m very uneasy with some of his most recent stances, and that’s putting it mildly.
