Have a “DarK” Christmas?

CHRISTMAS fairy lights should be switched off to save the planet, Scrooge ministers said yesterday.

The Government also claimed pulling the plug on festive lights would save Britain £70million.
Lords in dark over Xmas fun
Environment minister Lord Rooker told peers the plan would cut greenhouse gases by 650,000 tons – the same as flying a jumbo jet between London and Miami every day for a year.

Last night the Tories accused Labour of wrecking Christmas.

Shadow environment secretary Peter Ainsworth said: “I’m all for effective measures to tackle climate change but we don’t need to turn into Scrooge.”

Howzabout we just “switch off” the politicians and Environuts instead?

“Al Gore has a hit movie called ‘An Inconvenient Truth.’ I have an inconvenient truth for him: you’re still not the president.” Ha.

Water Vapor acts similarly to Co2, carbon dioxide, with respect to the um..”greenhouse effect.”

Carbon Dioxide comprises .04% of the Earth’s atmosphere.

Water Vapor constitutes a walloping 90%.

Reduce carbon dioxide to fix global warming?
Ha. Ban Water instead~!

Yup yup. The average temperature of the seems to be Earth rising.

Panicking yet?
Don’t.
The Earth is still spinning on it’s ole axis and guess what?
Sometimes that places it farther from the sun. Hence: Ice Ages.iceddani.gif

If it moves closer to the Sun, guess what happens!
Ding ding ding!..2 points. suntananidy24.gif

What would happen if tomorrow we were told that, after all, the Earth is flat? It would probably be the most important piece of news in the media and would generate a lot of debate.
Global Warming: The Cold, Hard Facts?
So why is it that when scientists who have studied the Global Warming phenomenon for years say that humans are not the cause nobody listens? Why does no one acknowledge that the Emperor has no clothes on?

The Goreaholic.
No thanks.

That’s one Emperor we don’t wish to see “with no clothes on.” Heh.

Nooooooo need to ration that toilet paper people~!

Have a “bright” Christmas friends!
And..hey……..Crank up those lights.

    MTC

It’s more like 0,5 degrees over the last century. A thousand years ago we had midterrenian climate up here in the south of Sweden. 15 yeras ago the climathologists warned us about a new ice- age coming!

So if it were not for the fact that islamic muhajeedin is profiting in most cases, I would urge you to turn on another christmas light. If you have a cole or oil power plant near you- Turn on as many as you can afford! THAT might just save us from a new ice age!

    Or something…

The scientists who object to their global moaning pose a threat to the fairy princesses’ potential financial gain, so they must be trivialized, villainized and disdained. It is a veritable green wave industry with all the ‘trendy’ (who rely upon glitter and chrome to sell) jumping aboard. Any scientist less than retirement age who speaks the truth will see no money for his research… ‘Career over’ blacklisting from the Hollywood worshipers.

Let me put it this way…
I was at the Giants football game Sunday nite in New Jersey..the REAL FEEL temperature was approx. 19F.
I sat there for 3-4 hours with only my thoughts to warm me.I took a hot shower when i got home, to lift my core temp into the 90′s.
So where exactly is this thing Global Warming taking place!?!?!

Another transparent attack on Christmas/Christianity. It’s on for young and old this year. I read an article in a newspaper today about the celebrities who’ve come out saying how much they hate Christmas. One or two of them have banned Christmas in their homes.
As for the rest of society, I guess if they chip away at our Christmas celebrations bit by bit, and they hear the garbage on the press and out of the celebs and it’s backed up by the all-important GW police, there’ll be plenty of gullibles ready to give away one of the most precious celebrations our society has known.

Remember, Al Gore was awarded the Peace Prize. He and his cohorts did not get one of the Nobel Sience Prizes. Do the Nobel people know something Al Gore and Company don’t?

  18. Joe Gringo says:

On Bill Bennett’s show this morning, the host Kevin Wall said he was VERY surprised that Al Gore did not receive TIME Magazine’s Man of the Year, a caller had mentioned that if they did name him Man of the Year, they would have to answer for their article 30 years ago about the HUGE threat of GLOBAL COOLING!

Would love to find that article!

Exactly. Scrooge was constantly badgering Mr Cratchett for using too much coal.

  23. Terry_Jim says:

I saw the glow of a Christmas display from the interstate. It was about a half mile away . When we found it , it was a spectacle- a yard full of figurines, and even a portin of it choreographed to music that the guy (has to be a guy) broadcasts via a low powered FM transmitter. What a blast!

I googled one of the songs to find out the source, and discovered that these music synchronized displays are fairly common.

Besides being a lavish, extravagant gift to all who view them, each wild computer run display is like a message to the House of Lords and other enviro-weenies, “You want to cut CO2 emissions? Then shut your whiny pie hole!”

I recorded part of the Omaha guy’s display and put it on my blog. Check it out.

I love driving down my block and seeing all the festive houses with colorful lights and decorations. It should be an American tradition, regardless of religious faith. If non-Mexican Americans can celebrate Cinco de Mayo and have fun with the festival, and those of non-Japanese ancestry in America can appreciate the culture during Nisei Week, why can’t everyone help Christians celebrate the beauty of Christmas, and respect and honor the birth of Jesus?

Hajj is in progress now, too, and all those people traveling are using fuel and generating greenhouse gases.
