The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.
Burton Hillis

Never worry about the size of your Christmas tree. In the eyes of children, they are all 30 feet tall.
Larry Wilde

Colorful candles burning bright, each lit on eight very special nights.

Most Texans think Hanukkah is some sort of duck call.
Richard Lewis

On Hanukkah, the first dark night,
Light yourself a candle bright.
I’ll you, if you will me invite
To dance within that gentle light.
Nicholas Gordon

In the old days, it was not called the Holiday Season; the Christians called it ‘Christmas’ and went to church; the Jews called it ‘Hanukkah’ and went to synagogue; the atheists went to parties and drank. People passing each other on the street would say ‘Merry Christmas!’ or ‘Happy Hanukkah!’ or (to the atheists) ‘Look out for the wall!’
Dave Barry

The happiest of holidays to you and yours. Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and just a great week between with no work. I always wrote Happy Holidays because I couldn’t spell Hanukkah. Or is that Chanukah. But I was a great with the Dreidel. My son came home from Cub Scouts and taught his little brother and sister. Seems like we have a Dreidel or two in every room.:-)

Have a great night and I know the feast will be excellent.

One of the Chicago Police chaplains is a Rabbi and is a friend of mine. His birthday is December 25. I told him the other day, when offering him season greetings and hapy birthday, that two of my favorite Jews were born on that date; Jesus Christ and Jackie Mason.
