I was planning on exercising today, Angel. I think you might have talked me out of it! LOL!

No… I’ll take it in little baby-steps. I didn’t exercise for three weeks because I had company. (Hey! It’s better than no excuse at all!) So today I’ll walk my Labrador Retriever. This sounds pretty easy, but she’s a HUGE dog. She ways 135 pounds and is all muscle. She doesn’t mind the leash very well, and anyone who doesn’t think playing tug of war with a large Lab hasn’t tried it. If she spots a rabbit or a squirrel running across the field, I’m done for!

I would say that part of the problem is people not knowing themselves and their limits. Most people I know who have received exercise-related injuries have gotten them from going overboard with what they’re doing. One thing I really liked about the military was that we were taught to understand our limits and not hurt ourselves. I didn’t know very many people when I was in the service who hurt themselves while exercising. People need to find their limit and learn how to work right up to it without hurting themselves. :)
