Gilad Shalit’s BooK

null

JERUSALEM – Years before he was a soldier seized by Palestinian militants, 11-year-old Gilad Schalit penned a simple parable about how enemies can get along.

His story, “When the Shark and the Fish First Met,” has now been published as a children’s book that teaches tolerance — while its author, now 21, spends his 19th month captive in the Gaza Strip.

Captive Israeli soldier now a children’s author

The Shark and the fish…
His message: ‘Even enemies can live together’

Ah..Out of the mouth of babes.

Gilad’s story is about two mortal enemies who come to the conclusion that it is far better to live peacefully side by side than eat the other alive.
Sorry, but this is Ham-ASS your’e dealing with.

Of course we all know that Gilad is now like an innocent little fish surrounded by the killer sharks in Gaza. (or Iran, or wherever they are hiding and most likely torturing the poor soul.)

Perhaps someone should be penning a book about Olmert’s inexcusable failure to secure his release? zombie.gif

Schalit’s captors have not allowed Red Cross representatives to see him, and his condition is unclear.

Wer’e told by the Libtards to follow the Geneva conventions even when dealing with these subhuman terroritsts, but Muzlims get a free pass to behave how they see fit no matter how depraved.
Ah but lefty do-gooders only gun after people that will most likely NOT cut off their heads. You know…Americans, Jews, Israelis…….civilized folk.

Back at the ranch Israel is still supplying gasoline and electricity to Ham-ASS. Nice.yuck5.gif

Sure. Envision for a moment if you will sweet friends.
International public reaction if we release audio and video tapes of Gitmo prisoners in pain, not getting their “prayer time” or access to hal-al food. uh huh.

Recall the dhimmified Liberal reaction when SAD-dam, the vicious monster, was captured. They rallied that it was an “atrocity” that we even showed him being examined.headache4.gif

Pentagon vows to probe Saddam photos
BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) —

The U.S. military says it will “aggressively investigate” how photographs of Saddam Hussein in captivity — including one of the deposed leader in his underwear — were released to a London tabloid.

The Pentagon issued a statement as well.
eagle1.jpg

“These photos were taken in clear violation of DoD [Department of Defense] directives and possibly Geneva Convention guidelines for the humane treatment of detained individuals,”

Oh oh oh. SA-DAMM, the one who gassed hundreds of Kurds in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
The one who accrued biological weapons that he wouldn’t allow weapons inspectors to view.
The mass rape room, burn peoples’ genit-als and cut off heads Regime.
But he’s in his underwear. An international Travesty! killani-uddy.gif

Under Articles 13 and 14 of the 1949 Geneva Conventions III Relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War, POWs “must at all times be protected … against insults and public curiosity,” and also “are entitled in all circumstances to respect for their persons and their honor.”

Oh, but these are just Jewish boys captured “kidnapped” from their own backyards.
No outcry warranted eh.
israel1flag-ani.gif

Moral equivalency and Post modernism lets you explain away anything, doesn’t it.hammer3.gif

You know the stinkin Jooos with their apartheid WALL and the Israeli “gen-ocide” against “Pale-stine”, which has resulted in..let’s see the Pali population nearly tripling, since 1967. Interesting “geno-cide” if ya ask me.

The only way the blood thirsty IzlamoNazis will even consider freeing Gilad Shalit and the soldiers held hostage in Lebanon is if Israel trades them for thousands and thousands of convicted terrorist murderers. So what if that directly leads to more and more kidnappings, right?

And as a quick reminder.
Gilad was “captured” on Israeli territory in his own military base.

He was not involved in any “hostilities”, as the lying media implies.

He was guarding his own base. Shalit, Goldwasser and Regev were abducted and kidnapped while conducting routine military patrols on Israeli territory.
Minor detail to the Ham-ASS loving Lefties eh?monsterkeyfan.gif

They are terrorist psychopaths no matter how much diplomatic, obfuscation the media attempts. nice-try.gif

Sure, Israel should release thousands of deliberate mass murderers of innocent civilians, in exchange for an 18 year old soldier on duty who was simply checking the border, from which the Ham-ASS animals launch their rockets. violent2ani.gif

Guess what.
Israeli policy even includes trading living terrorists for the remains of dead IDF soldiers.

This my friends, means that Ham-ASS could gruesomely murder Shalit and possibly still swap his body for their thugs terrrorist sickos.

As long as The Olmert-Barak-Livni farce of a government continues to be allowed to do what they have been doing – namely: voting to transfer $562 million to allegedly ‘moderate’ terrorist thug Mah-mood Abb-ASS, we can kiss the prospect of ever seeing our precious boys again.

Frankly the lack of will and resolve and the cringing self-doubt infecting Israel and the West is beyond the pale.

Execute the dang terrorists Ham-ASS wants released, one a day guys and dolls, until Gilad is released.

For those who still have the capacity for logical thought:
There is no point in extending the decency and niceties of a civil society to forces Hell bent on destroying the very concept of a “civilized society.”

Pray for the little Gilad “fish” my sweet friends.

There are two types of fisherman – those who fish for sport and those who fish for fish.

Well said Angel, yep, you won’t see any leftards squealing about their lack of access to the torah or kosher meals and all that. No sir, leftists only yearn for justice for mass murderers, not the innocent.

“Execute the dang terrorists Ham-ASS wants released, one a day guys and dolls, until Gilad is released.”

That’s what i thought as well, but the west lacks the stomach for that sort of thing, and so he is hung out to dry while Olmert & Co. beg to appease.

  2. Debbie says:

We don’t even know if he’s still alive, do we? No proof. Out of the mouths of babes for sure, but we all grow up to see the truth. God bless and take care of them.

  3. Eitan says:

Angel: one thing: the Kurds whom Saddam gassed as you correctly stated, are not and were never “angels”(no pun intended) themselves. For example, they were responsible for aiding the Ottoman Turks enihilate millions of Assyrians (or in Hebrew Ashurim) during WWI. What really bugs me is that the State of Israel continues to deny the Armenian and Assyrian holocausts while the Assyrians just happen to be our closest allies in the ME.

Excellent post, Angel! Just what is Ehud “[I'm] tired of winning” Olmert doing to secure the release of Gilad and his comrades, or even to find out of they’re still alive? Nothing, apparently. How sickeningly sad. I guess Olmert and his ilk won’t be satisfied until they’ve secured the suicide of their country, all in the name of peace, of course. Gag me!

And Eitan, you’re dead wrong to blame today’s Kurds for the crimes of the Armenian/Assyrian holocaust. That horror happened nearly a century ago and has nothing to do with modern Kurds. Blaming them for a WWI crime is like blaming modern Germans for what Hilter did to the Jews in WWII, or blaming today’s White Americans for slavery. It is fundamentally unjust. Stop it!

And Angel, I now sign my posts and comments with the name Seane-Anna, but my blog is still called PoorGrrl Zone. Just wanted to let you know. Keep up the good work, sister!

Nice post Angel. You said: “Perhaps someone should be penning a book about Olmert’s inexcusable failure to secure his release?” Olhmert has done worse for Israel. I don’t know if he is more like Jimmy Carter or George Bush, but then maybe the differences between them are disappearing. I was insulted by the president’s comments and moral equivalency statements. Same old thing- same peace plan. Israel must give up land and the Palestinians need more aid money from the West.

That’s a peace plan? Seems it’s the same plan as Carter, Bush I, and Clinton. How many times must this plan fail?

In the Ranger Battalion, we have a creed that defines the way we live, and sometimes die…
Recognizing that I volunteered as a Ranger, fully knowing the hazards of my chosen profession, I will always endeavor to uphold the prestige, honor and high “esprit de corps” of my Ranger Regiment.

Acknowledging the fact that a Ranger is a more elite soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land, sea, or air, I accept the fact that as a Ranger my country expects me to move further, faster and fight harder than any other soldier.

Never shall I fail my comrades. I will always keep myself mentally alert, physically strong and morally straight and I will shoulder more than my share of the task whatever it may be. One hundred percent and then some.

Gallantly will I show the world that I am a specially selected and well trained soldier. My courtesy to superior officers, neatness of dress and care of equipment shall set the example for others to follow.

Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country. I shall defeat them on the field of battle for I am better trained and will fight with all my might. Surrender is not a Ranger word. I will never leave a fallen comrade to fall into the hands of the enemy and under no circumstances will I ever embarrass my country.

Readily will I display the intestinal fortitude required to fight on to the Ranger objective and complete the mission, though I be the lone survivor.

Imagine if Olmert, Livni, and Bush lived their lives according to this creed…
Hamas and Hezbollah would be a distant memory, Judea, Samaria, and Gaza would be populated by Jewish families, and Shalit, Goldwasser and Regev would be home with their familes right now after spending only a couple days in captivity. There’s a big difference between men and boys. Maybe someday Olmert will act like a man, but not at the expense of our nation.

Personally i have had it up to the wazoo…wherever that is!!!
The continued attack against the only democratic and non oil producing nation in the Mid east has gotten old…I’ve got a grand idea, how about human rights violations as an area of concern for the overworking anti-zion/semites.
The Israelis have armed forces ready and able to address its difficulties.
They need to take a pointer from some of our well known hollywood quotes…
He pulls a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. That’s the Chicago way!

Beautiful post, Angel. Thanks for reminding us of those brave young heroes who were fighting for their country. I often wonder if they’re still alive. I’ll certainly pray for them. Miracles sometimes happen.

  10. middleclassguy says:

How many so called political prisoners has Israel been forced- negotiated- to release back to their terrorist buddies? Yet, the Moslems release no one. Said before, will say it again; Israel keeps giving in and is getting nothing in return. There will be no so called peace in the ME until the terror factions are eliminated- read terminated.

This war needs to be won…

These monstrous Radical Muslim Militants must be defeated.

I see the logic, of trying to get some who seem more moderate to come forward and join the West.

It is clearly working in Iraq, as Arab Extreme Jihadists are taking it on the chin.

    We shall see…

But the election in 2008 is essential, as Hillary Clinton and the Democrat Party are bound to make matters far worse, as they did during the 1990′s.

Great post Angel. Historically, people never are willing to admit that their is anti-jewish prejudice. Of course, usually it is obvious. Is there any other 60 year old country that whose right to exist is still being debated?

  20. kevin says:

Shalit’s book may have been naive, but that’s how we raise our children, with hope for humanity. Not a suicide belt, or chants of DEATH TO THE INFIDELS!

  21. Eitan says:

Anna: you’re the one who’s “dead wrong!” Angel’s post above sited the fact that Saddam Hussein gassed thousands of innocent Kurds. I agree that Saddam was a criminal of the worst kind and that Iraqi Kurds were innocent in this case. I don’t think anyone should feel so bad for the Kurds though. I wouldn’t feel a tad bit guilty or sad if tragedy befell modern Germans–if that answers your question.

The Assyrians and Armenians were butchered just like Saddam butchered the Kurds. It was a case of genocide in both instances; only it was a lot worse for the Assyrians in WWI than it was for the Kurds in the 90′s. I didn’t lose any sleep while Saddam was doing his thang–not to the Kurds. They will forever go down in history as murderers.
