Mercaz Harav Yeshiva’s Angels

Wrapped in prayer shawls, the bodies of eight slain yeshiva students were laid out on stretchers in the stone plaza outside the Mercaz Harav Yeshiva in Jerusalem on Friday morning.
Tearful teachers mourn loss of ‘priceless students of pure gold’

The night before, Al-a A-bu Dh-aim, ……… killed them and wounded nine of their classmates in the yeshiva’s library.

Chief Sephardi Rabbi Shlomo Amar said:..
“You should know, dear families, that this is a mourning of the entire House of Israel, as one person and one heart, crying as one for the dreadful calamity that has befallen us.

Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski also addressed the mourners:

“Lord, nations have invaded Your land, desecrated Your holy hall. Eight of our sweet loved ones, may God avenge their blood, who only yesterday were living among us, are no longer with us. Their lives were cut short by lowly murderers… but the murderer did not wish to target them alone, but rather each and every one of us, each and every resident of the holy city of Jerusalem.

“For many years our enemies have been trying to ruin our lives, to harm us as much as they can. Jerusalem has paid heavily in blood, and the long, long list was joined last night by our eight sons.”

And so it is….Eight angels……added to those indelibly etched images of silhouetted matchstick figures falling from the World Trade Center skyscrapers on that beautiful, September morning in 2001, in New York City.

Yet politicians continue to wax and mutter platitudes of “making peace with Izlam and A-rabs” amidst the staggering silence and inaction that has comatized America and Israel.

Are our countries in need in mercy.
Heavens yes.
But our armies and leaders need not beg for mercy, at the feet of the IzlamoArab Nazis. They ought to fight the enemy to the death.

Stop begging for our lives and start delivering death to those who live only to destroy us.

Ar-abs can live in Israel as citizens with full voting rights; this murderer was one of them.
Yet Jews were forced to evacuate areas like Gaza once they were turned over to A-rab control.
Does that not say it all.

Israelis are expected to accept A-rabs as citizens, while at the same time it is presumed that any land over which A-rabs exert control must be rendered free of Jews first.
If the Arabs were remotely interested in peace, nobody would have to move.

We would simply take out our markers, draw some lines on a map and re-route the electrical grid and the sewer system that the Israelis so generously provide. But we know all too well why that will never come to pass don’t we?

Yet, we mourn – once again.

For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,
for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet,
till her righteousness shines out like the dawn,
her salvation like a blazing torch.

To the grieving families and dear loved ones, I say……

There is a hurt..a pain so horrifically deep…it never truly departs.

In time it may seem smaller. We may tuck it away in a corner somewhere in the deepest recesses of our hearts. Then out of the blue, comes a familiar smell, that special place, a song, an anniversary or birthday………
And we feel that barreness and emptiness anew.

I know of such grief.

May your profound Love and the memories you hold..bring you comfort.
There are eight more stars in Heaven tonight,
Their brightness and warmth can reach us here………….and perhaps… make our nights just a little less dark.

God bless you all.
May your hearts heal as we pray for the promise of Peace.

    Tick tock…tick tock…
i believe the moment has arrived to expell all/any arab(living in israel) traitors that cling to the sick idea that their HOST country owes them anything…
ID cards need to be revoked and homes need to be bulldozed making more room for those people loyal to their OWN country.
A bit harsh you say…go ahead imagine a gunman, proclaiming “death to this country” walks into a school in ANY other country and murders children reading, playing or learning and the government reaction would be…………………..? that’s right….exactly!!!
    Thank you and good night!!

the shooter was a person of trust – he used to be a driver for the school – no one suspected a thing!

G-d has said he will bless those who bless israel and curse those who curse israel. i believe this to the depths of my soul.

there are just cursed people out there.

i’m so sick over this – you have no idea how deeply affected by this i am – the safest place a child could have been – what does that say about the rest of the children?

  6. Debbie says:

How can Israel make peace with a people who keep killing her children? How can another nation even ASK Israel to do this? Shame.

  7. Bar Kochba says:

Remember what Amalek did to you! May HaShem avenge the blood of those murdered speedily in our days, and send us the complete and final Geulah.

too true, angel. and can anyone tell me why the jews have to be the ones constantly making concessions? and why is it that the jewish leadership is even buying into this notion???? it’s disgusting and saddening and maddening all at once.

angel, i don’t know how you keep up with this even though i know you must be sickened beyond belief. thank you for making certain that this stuff does not go unnoticed!

This school shooting is really, really sad. If any other nation faced terrorism like this, the rest of the world would be united in their support. But since it is Israel, the UN can’t even issue a condemnation of the terrorists.
