On ShootinG Ko-rans or other “Holy” BookS

Sunni preachers on Friday denounced the shooting of a K-oran, Islam’s holy book, by a U.S. sniper in Iraq despite a series of apologies by American commanders and U.S. President George W. Bush.
Sunni Preachers Denounce Koran Shooting by U.S. Sniper in Iraq

The U.S. military said Sunday it had disciplined the sniper and removed him from Iraq after he was found to have used the Koran for target practice May 9.

Bush apologized to Iraqi Prime Minister No-uri al-M-aliki for the incident after several U.S. military officials tried to soothe anger over the shooting..

So, clarify this for me again please……flagday.gif…. an American soldier fires on an inanimate object, while jeeehadis blow up precious children, slit the throats of their daughters, use the mentally ill as suicide bombers..and our President apologizes for this?

Since when is shooting a book a crime under Military Law that requires political intervention from the higher ups?

Civilized people do not make a habit of condoning the desecration of Holy Books, and this is where we part company with those defending the Ko–ran.
If the Ko–ran is to be seen as holy and respect worthy, it may be time to watch “Fitna” again or read it for yourselves.

Ko—ran 4:89:
“They (infidels) desire that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you might be (all) alike; therefore take not from among them friends until they fly (their homes) in Allah’s way; but if they turn back, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and take not from among them a friend or a helper.”

Ko–ran 8:12:
“Instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers;”

Ko–ran 2:191:
“… kill the disbelievers wherever we find them..”

If a so called religion based on world conquest, originating with one man’s maniacal quest for world domination and spread by the Sword and imperialism, is to be acknowledged and respected with the World Religions, we best be bowing our heads and waiting for that same Sword to slice off our ignoble infidels’ semi working brains.

The fact that Mein Kampf, (another popular book among Muzlims,) was secular but the Ko-ran is allegedly religious – makes the war against Izlam that much more untenable. We are asked to accept a virulently anti semitic, anti Christian ideology as somehow not only respectable but compatible with ours?

Similarities between Mein Kampf and the Ko–ran? You bet. They are for the most part political books and both contain justifications for violence and murder against all “non-believers.” (psssttt..especially Jews)

The hypocrisy of the Liberal left is predictably outstanding.

If some dude decided to use the Bible as a shooting target in America, the Mainstream media would not even report on it…unless they were celebrating it as a form of “Art”, and calling the NEA for more funding.

Crosses soaked in urine, the Virgin Mary in feces?..No problem.
A soldier taking shots at a book filled with hatred and inciting of violence against people of other Faiths, a self proclaimed “holy” book which advocates enslaving and killing those who disagree?

Ah yes ..that warrants genuflection and a formal apology by the Military General and the President of the United States of America.

Of course in Muzlim theocracies, this action is considered blasphemy.
Why, you ask?..Oh, because in Muzlim countries there is no freedom; there is no separation between church, mosque and state.

Izlam is hence not a religion but a form of political government, imposed upon its people. There is no converting out of Izlam while keeping ones head attached to one’s shoulders.

We bear witness to one of our Generals not only apologize but kiss a Ko–ran?

Howzabout all the moderate Muzlims get together, call for a ceremony in which they all kiss a perfectly folded triangle shaped U.S. Flag and then proceed to hand it all the victims of Muzlim massacres in an honoree kind of way.

We’ll apologize the day the Muzlim clergy and laypeople do — for everything their “peaceful people” have done including the desecration of the Bible, which took place when their stinkin terrorists occupied the Church of the Nativity. They used Christian holy texts as toilet paper, and destroyed the interior of the Church.

Seen any pics of Muzlims kissin Bibles?
I didn’t think so.

Muzlims burn and trample on American flags daily around the globe in protest of anything they feel like crying foul over.
Anyone “offended” by that?
sorryani.gif

All religions have their fanatics and abusers. However, true religions condemn and shun those people, considering that it is almost always a small percentage of that particular faith.
Izlam has well earned universal scorn and contempt for precisely NOT doing that.

There are no Moderates collectively raising their voices against what is supposedly “radical” Izlam, nor against terrorist acts any where in the world.

Studies bear out that even among so called moderates, support for terrorism especially against Israel is nearly universal amongst Muzlims.

This ideology masquerading as a “religion” appears to be in a perpetual state of sanctimoniousness and warlike belligerence.angry08.gif

The offendedness disease-like epidemic is rampant.
The Muuham-MAD cartoon debacle is typical and emblematic for Izlam.

Izlam chooses to alienate itself from the rest of the civilized world. That makes it THEIR problem, not ours.

I submit we ought to be alot less concerned with what Muzlims or Lefty self haters think or feel.
If you lived in Saudi Arabia, you couldn’t even own a Bible, (let alone try to shoot one), attend a church or synagogue, or even become a citizen.

A woman is not even allowed to drive, vote or leave her house without male permiso.

That we should be coerced into having such “tender” feelings for people who have attacked us on our own soil, who have declared War on us and think nothing of attacking our uniformed soldiers from cars using babies as human-shields is not only mad, it is suicidal.

Some go so far as to say the soldier should be punished…yea… for wasting bullets. Heh. arrowthruhead9.gif

I may not go that far.
It certainly constitutes no crime.
Soldiers do have an obligation to obey foreign laws to some extent. Needless to say they do not have the freedom of speech or of self expression that we do in the U.S.

Indeed, it may be counterproductive to offend the Iraqis while we are trying to establish a societal order for them at this time.
But apologizing and kissing a Ko-ran? Wayyyyyyyy over the top.

Then again, the soldier really did mess up. What he should have done was shoot holes in the Bible. Instead of being reviled, he could have become nothing short of a hero for the secular “progressive”, lefty liberal gang. smirk.gif

Calling the Ko-ran a ‘holy book’? ponder.gif

Beware dear friends:

that ‘z’ in muzlims is getting on my nerves, but I DO understand it (Smile!!) Personally, I never capitalize muslim or islam…and I’m stopping using “jihadist” because I understand that’s quite an honor for them. NO more.
WONDERFUL post, as usual. You are SO right. and you do get THE best jokes and illustrations…Makes it informative AND fun. Thanks, Angel! xx

  2. KkarlMm says:

Fantastic work as always Angel, or is it fanatic work!!!

I no longer pay attention to these ridiculous news stories, they seem to have been taken from “Mad Magazine”…but so help anyone who shoots at my “Archie” comic books.

Seriously, to have an apology given over such stupidity while the continued atrocities of the mooooozie idiots continues leaves me wondering….
have we entered the “Twilight Zone”??????

  3. Layla says:

Great post. PFFFFFFFFFFT! I am not sorry they shot the Koran. I wish that they did it from here to Kingdom come and put and end to this muzzie shirad!

  4. Kevin says:

I wish I had a koran. The drawing on it is kind of circular, like a bullseye.

  5. MK says:

I read about this a few days ago and whilst i can’t accept that we have to grovel and beg and what ever else, and i agree with what you say Angel, i decided not to criticize the actions of our military leaders, they are there on the ground and they are on the front lines and in the thick of it. I wish we didn’t have to, but if they feel this is what they need to do to keep the fragile cooperation going then so be it.

I do find it disappointing that the Sunni leaders still would not accept the apology, perhaps they feel that life was better under the bootheel of Al-Qaeda, i wonder if they really know how quickly that can be arranged. Was that 11 months or 16 months B. Hussein?

  6. Tom says:

    Excellent post!!

Will be adding you to my blogroll.

  7. EDGE says:

Great post Angel! You hit it right on the head!

  8. Gayle says:

It would be very hard to kiss the Koran. I hope the Colonel has lots of listerine on hand! Yech!

MK makes the point that perhaps it was necessary, but to me kissing the Koran seems way over the top. First of all, the Colonel who did so isn’t the one who shot the Koran, and of course as far as I’m concerned the soldier who did shoot the Koran should be given a medal, but we both know that the military is trying to keep a delicate balance over there and I suppose a certain amount of appeasement is necessary in order to keep the troops safe but I totally HATE IT! Like you, I don’t see why this hateful cult should be given any respect at any time anywhere! You’re right. It isn’t a religion and shouldn’t be considered one of the world’s religions. It’s all about hatred, surpression and power, pure and simple.

  9. heidianne jackson says:

islam is incompatible with any form of government because it is a social order, government system and religion all rolled into one absymal package.

  10. elvis the original terminator says:

I am sponsoring some target practice events. Any takers???

  11. The Hermit says:

I saw a news story from Britain today. A motorist was told by the police to remove the English flag from his vehicle as it was offensive to immigrants. This happened IN England. Like the old Hank William’s song says “I wish I’d made this up but I’m afraid it’s true.”

  12. kevin says:

    Powerful post Angel.

If one actually reads the koran, the mysteries of terrorist behavior become amazingly clear.

  13. Ogre says:

I can’t believe that the high ranking US military officer actually kissed the Koran. That’s beyond disgusting. We cannot win a war that we will not fight. We need to leave Iraq now because we’re not willing to fight the enemy, plain and simple.

  14. Steve Harkonnen says:

I can never forget the time when Bush declared that Islam is a religion of peace. That is the day I lost all respect for him.

We pander way too much for Islam; this is a dangerous practice.

  15. Debbie says:

Don’t forget the U.S. General who KISSED a Koran and offered it to the Iraqis as an apology. It’s the religion and we are submitting inch by inch,

  16. Katie says:

I’m really proud of that soldier. He got 14 shots perfectly into that book. I wonder if anyone could top that. He should have gotten a medal, not a reprimand.

  17. Z says:

Steve, I’ll go you one: he said we all worship the same God. THAT nearly did ME in with him. !!

  18. OMMAG says:

I’mnot inclined to feel any outrage over putting holes in books.
Aside from the private property of someone who doesn’t wish to have their book aerated…..

I’m getting an idea for a piece of performance art!

What is the Guiness record for most korans shot to pieces at one time?

  19. Panhandle Poet says:

    Too bad a cleric wasn’t holding it……..

  20. Defiant_Infidel says:

“Since when is shooting a book a crime under Military Law that requires political intervention from the higher ups?”

Ummm… Since we have settled into a steady diet of PC rubbish and eventually became sufficiently indoctrinated to do it without regurgitation. What was that, about thirty years ago or so? Now it is ordinary table food.

As it was afterwards recognizable as a former Quran, it is obviously yet another classic case of simply not using “enough gun”… I guess I’ll have to get a copy and show you how it should be properly done! Damned if it wouldn’t make a superb top-of-my-blog image, too… Hmmmm.

Is your fist as black and blue from desk pounding as mine is, Angel?

  21. Angel says:

THANKS SO MUCH ALLS FOR THE REACTIONS AND FOR GIVING ME HOPE THAT ALL IS NOT LOST!! :)

  22. Incognito says:

what a bunch of yo u know what.. we are giving in day by day… God helps us all.

  23. No Compromise says:

is the US gov’t INSANE? Shoot up as many kkkorans as you want! Heck, I have a picture of a kkkoran in a huge decapitate head of pig’s mouth proudly displayed on my bulletin board as we speak! With the blood of the pig on the kkkoran. I laugh my butt off every time I see it!

The kkkoran makes perfect target practice. In fact, I think it’s time to go out and buy another gun!

oh, what would the demon god, mo-HAMM-ed (MHBIHF) do if he saw that?
