Christmas, Chanukah HolidaY Spirit: Don’t Lose It
Ahhhhhhhhhh.
Holiday Time.
Some free advice.
Don’t let stress ruin your holidays my friends.
Don’t get thrown if misunderstandings between family members increase.
If they really get to ya, sneak away.
Spend some time alone if you like.
There’s nothing like a few minutes of solitude.
Take a walk at night and gaze at the the moon and stunning stars.
Listen to your favorite music.
Have a cookie.
In fact, have two.
You may be sad or lonely if you find yourself without a loved one.
It’s all okay.
It’s all normal.
Just feel the feelings.
No need to manufacture feelings you may not have “just because “tis the season to be jolly.”
Then again, reaching out and helping others is a sure fire way to lift your spirits.
If your’e in a bit of financial bind, don’t fret that “everyone on your gift list be happy” by overspending and feeling anxious afterward.
It’s not only about opening presents, but opening your hearts.
Remember:
He who has not Christmas in his heart will never find it under a tree.

Some of us, especially activitsts and bloggers, try desperately to help light the world. Perhaps, at this time……… we just need to learn how to light up our own lives.
May the lights of Chanukah and Christmas usher in a better world for all humankind.
And may love and light fill your homes and hearts this holiday season my sweet friends.

This time of year is hectic and a lot of work. It’s so easy to lose sight of what we celebrate.
I try to make time to read some classic Christmas stories and definitely make time to play Christmas carols on the piano and the electronic keyboard.
We’re expecting some freezing precipitation tonight. Maybe I’ll wake up to a winder wonderland tomorrow. I hope so.

I was not planning to visit anyone. I am not in the mood for one, second that mood is because today is the 13th anniversary of my son who was Autistic - his death, which I put up on my blog. I do not even leave the house on the 22nd of December and today is the first time I sent my second Autistic child to school on the 22nd out of fear it would happen to him too.
But I wanted you to know I am not so selfish as to not want to wish you a very Merry Christmas.

Nothin’ like a lil common sense, Angel. Ya, this is another ‘holiday’ season where Christmas spirit is not automatic. I’m actually workin’ on it. Things being what they are I still have reason to celebrate that they are not worse than the present circumstance. So let the joy be with you.
