Canada StandS With Israel

Yesterday, Canada was the sole member of the UN Human Rights Council to vote against a resolution, which passed in a 33-1 vote, condemning Israel over its actions in Gaza.
CANADA VOTES AGAINST RESOLUTION
The vote crystallized Canada’s emergence under Stephen Harper’s government as one of Israel’s firmest supporters.

Booooooooooooooooyah Canada!
Harper is da man.

Instead of giving in to the testosterone laden rantings of Ham-ASS, Canada did what even the U.S. didn’t.
It stood up to these backward, Iranian sponsored, violent thugs.

Too bad the contemptible Leftards who defend these Muzlims- overestimated the potential of their puny rockets, while clearly underestimating the ability and guts of Israel.

Apparently Canada can actually connect the dots.
The stinkin Palis elected a terrorist government exactly like the Germans did in in the 1930′s.
Gaza has become the modern day Berlin and Munich.
However…The Allies knew who their enemy was.

The U.N., from where an anti-Semitic stench rises daily, insist on symmetry and “proportion” when Israel defends herself.
But they fail to say whether Israel should increase its quota of cadavers or reduce the terrorist Muzlims quota in order to achieve this “reasonable proportion” of blood that will finally soothe their vile demands.

Thank You Canada.

The rest o’ the world can just keep drinking the Haterade.

Israel doesn’t need your input at this time ThankUVerYMucH.

It’s a shame that the U.S. can’t even bother to do better than it’s President-Elect. He voted “Present” in the Illinois Senate so many times that it appears to have rubbed off on our ambassador at Foggy Bottom.

  2. Katie says:

Israel is losing a friend in the US and gaining one in Canada. I think Israel is coming out a head in this.

  3. Debbie says:

I’ve been impressed with Western countries, and also some others. More have stood with Israel during this conflict with Gaza than did with the Hezbollah Summer war. Maybe they are finally seeing how evil Hamas is.

I’m amazed at Canada…good for them. They’re SO pro Islam that this is astonishing and I’m impressed by Harper’s guts.
Imagine HIllary or Obama doing this? Going against the flow?
Funny, Obama’s not commented yet but he sure has no problem commenting on anything NONmuslim, huh?

That surprised me to hear Canada voted for Israel, and it pissed me off that America didn’t. What’s up with that?

  6. Stanford Matthews says:

The US is not a current member of the UNs HRC based on the list. And for your edification…..

  7. joe says:

Whoops, I should have read the whole article first. The US isn’t in the UN Human Rights Council, and so couldn’t vote. I feel better now, embarrassed but better.

  8. Tim says:

I lived in Canada for 3 years, and my wife and I lived there when Harper first got elected. He has good resolve and is an effective leader.

  9. Stanford Matthews says:

A news report on the radio just mentioned that Osama bin Hidin (or dead) just called for a holy war against Israel. My own conspiracy theory is that he is in fact dead and others are keeping up appearances by acting as though he is not.

But more to the point, if he is alive all that hate inside him or whoever is speaking for him must have taeken a toll on the brain. Calling for a holy war against Israel? What the hell do they think has been going on since before I was alive? (more than five decades)

Great Post! Good Job Canada!!! That guy is from western Canada isn’t he? I can’t thing the Frenchies in the East would have gone this way.

  11. Gayle says:

I read about this at Canadian Sentinel’s. I’m proud of Canada for standing up for what is right! :)

  12. Gayle says:

I meant to tell Greywolfe that Harper is Canada’s new – and conservative – Prime Minister. He was born in Toronto, CA but moved to Alberta as a teenager, and you’re right… Alberta is in Western Canada. :)

  13. OMMAG says:

    Yay for us !

BTW – The USA is not a member …. GW chose to NOT even dignify the travesty of the UN farce they call their “Human Rights Council” or sully the USA by participating in the farce.

  14. cube says:

Bully for Canada under Harper’s administration. It’s more than even we did.

GO CANADA!!! I admit, with such a high Islamist population I’m surprised!

  17. Layla says:

Hun it is heartwarming to see Canada and some other countries in the west stand with Israel. It is better late than never. Everything in its due season and Israel deserves the worlds support.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and let the Israelis crush Gaza as in the days of King David!

Israel belongs to the Jews. PERIOD! I love all Jews and Christians and bless you all that love Jews, God will bless you! And God will curse you that hates God’s people, the Jews! Woe unto you!

    Israel rules!

  18. LomaAlta says:

    Hooray for Canada!
That the US didnt support Israel in the vote confirms what I have long thought about Condi Rice. Incompetent and anti-Israel. Obvioulsy an Obama supporter and a long long way from being conservative.

  19. KarL M says:

And i thought they were only good for hockey…well go know!!!!

Being now that Israel is fighting a war and the killed and wounded MUST always state ” and half are civilians, women and children” therefore when mentioning Canada you must say “and half of it is covered with ice, cold and wet”……Really they must be kidding…so every time a HaHaM ass terrorist gets killed the IDF must search out a women or child to keep the ratio even..
i was wondering what happens if the terrorist IS a woman or child, then 2 goats and a camel must be wounded????

  20. MK says:

    Canada was the only one!

Damn, Israels list of allies grows ever thin. Hope they wipe out Hamass soon before you-know-who takes the reins in America.

DOES ANYONE SEE THE PROBLEM WITH THE MEMBERSHIP LIST OF THE UN HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION?! I always wonder when people rub ‘Israel’s violation of UN Resolution’ if they realize they are basically saying: Israel is violating the wishes of such human rights defenders and champions like the Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Jordan, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan…Somehow it doesn’t have the same wring as ‘violating the wishes of the UN Human Rights Comission’

The whole basis of the UN is silly… What purpose is served when civilized, advanced nations are reprimanded by humanities greatest failures?

It’s so absurd – it’s high time for the UN experiment to END END END. Not only is the concept absurd in this day and age, the UN has failed in its mandate to bring on a more inclusive, civilized, peaceful world. It has been on the ground and sat idly as Holocausts have been perpetrated worldwide (read Romeo Dallaire’s Handshake with the Devil… This Canadian general BEGGED his higher-ups to allow him to engage and end the Rwandan genocide as it was beginning, he was rejected. Even after UN soldiers were killed, they still did nothing, they were forbidden from even fighting back!)

The UN, in its current state is of no benefit to anyone. They are too slow, too passive, too beaurocratic (duh! You have every nation state looking out for its own interests on its own timetable!). At the end of the day, it’s greatest benefactors (financial backers), those nations interested in an inclusive civilization, are those that suffer the most from its existence.
