Barak Obama Mania: Is there a CurE?

Bush hatred and Obama euphoria — which tend to reveal more about those who feel them than the men at which they are directed — are opposite sides of the same coin.

Both represent the triumph of passion over reason.

Both are intolerant of dissent.

Those wallowing in Bush hatred and those reveling in Obama euphoria frequently regard those who do not share their passion as contemptible and beyond the reach of civilized discussion.
Bush hatred and Obama euphoria typically coexist in the same soul. And it is disproportionately members of the intellectual and political class in whose souls they flourish.

Bush Hatred and Obama Euphoria Are Two Sides of the Same Coin

From the avalanche of vehement and ignorant attacks on Bush v. Gore and the oft-made and oft-refuted allegation that the Bush administration lied about WMD in Iraq, to the remarkable lack of interest in Mr. Obama’s career in Illinois politics and the determined indifference to his wrongness about the surge, wide swaths of the media and the academy have concentrated on stoking passions rather than appealing to reason.

Uh huh. The secret to the Bush hating and subsequent Hussein Obama euphoria :
It requires nothing of its adherents other than choosing a side and foaming at the mouth appropriately.

It’s all about the “LOVE” dude.

I mean, really. what’s not to love about “change”?

My prediction for the new Lefty mantra:

Bush lied…but
Obama will provide.

Yea, right.

Ridiculing President Bush was the leftards most potent weapon.
After all, it’s nearly impossible to counterattack ridicule. It involves NO FACTS.

According to Libs…
In our very complex, inter-racial, urban society, we must single out who is to blame for any particular evil.

Pass the buck.
Pass the buck.
Pass the buck.

Then again Hussein O. follows his “Community Organizing” rules.

Take note of his overt defamation of his critcizers, beginning with his barrage unleashed on Rush Limbaugh.
Mainstream Media will collude in his attempt to now destroy Rush and his followers. Uh..that means you and me.

When it comes to Hussein Obama, hyperbole is the rule, not the exception.

He certainly isn’t the first politician to attract devoted throngs, especially from Pallywood, but Hussein’s lemmings exhibit a fervency bordering on the messianic.

Apparently…A political “diety” doesn’t seem to present a separation of Church and State issue for libs eh.

We all know their….worship is uninformed, superficial, empty, and downright creepy.
After all, throngs of screaming, cheering, and crying supporters regularly come out just to see Hussein O. or hear him speak.

I got a quick question:
What will happen when Hussein Obama is exposed for the nanny state, tax, tax, tax and spend, “Blame America First” liberal , Marxist –that he really is.?

Just askin.

“The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.”
Ronald Reagan

This is where Hussein O. is takin us btw:

“It was the British flag before Britain became an Islamic republic”… It won’t be long before that’s true.

How long before people will become saturated with Obama on the TV and News every second of every day???

  4. Incognito says:

Oh they’e absolutely one and the same… like yin and the yang of the same person. It’s sickening… but it’s the whole cult of personality… it feels like we’re living in N. Korea with all the dear leader propaganda… 4 more years.

  5. Perri Nelson says:

Is there a cure? I think Washington said it best, but he was talking about the mistaken idea that giving charity to foreign nations would result in those nations “liking us”…

‘Tis an illusion which experience must cure, which a just pride ought to discard.

Still, it might also apply to the Obama mania, and bailout fever.

  6. Kevin says:

Perri Nelson has it right: A little experience with Obama and the delusion of his greatness will fade quickly. I give it 6 months.

Of course, that’s not going to help much on the WoT front. He’s a young Carter in that respect. Very surrendery :( .

  7. Robert says:

That first cartoon says it all. Obama IS an empty box. Someday it may be full….but for now, it is empty of experience. Empty of substance and empty of love for this country. I think that he has a love for this country, but it isn’t a love that wants to keep it the America that our founding fathers made. He wants it remade in his image. And that is Socialism.

I have a distinct feeling that the Barry O Kool Aid is going to taste strangely similar to the Jonestown (Rev!! Jimmy Jones) brew…
The backtracking a few months down the line is going to be a real hoot to watch….

  9. Brooke says:

    That first cartoon is spot-on.

Obama euphoria is simply the final phase of BDS.

  10. Randy says:

I have been astonished at the Bush-hatred/Obama-worship and agree that it’s two sides of the same coin. I’ve given up reading a few liberal blogs because of this. In the past, I found the blogs educational even if I didn’t agree with them, but the way they’ve talked lately, even worse since the inauguration, I couldn’t stand it any more.

Sadly, I don’t think there is a cure. I don’t belive it’s going to get any better at all and in fact will get worse.

  11. Rolf Krake says:

Thank you :-) [Bows with honor to a fellow patriot warrior, (blogger)]

It always haertens to hear encouragement in an insane world.

As a European, Dane, this is the first time I am scared of a US president, Obama gives me the creeps, this guy is evil, a hybrid Naziführer, and it is not a question if, but when all hell breaks loose, there will be noone to bail us out.
How the world miss a Ronald Reagan…

The utopians are getting the upper hand again, and it isn’t going to be pretty, with no second amendment one can only imagine.

And keep up the good fight too, let not the Degenerated Marxist hogwash destroy your great and wonderful country, the land of the free which has inspired generations, all one hear in medias are propagandist utopist fanatasies removed from reality, and now with the ongoing obamagasm a newspaper isn’t even suitable to wrap fish in a market.

    Best regards and godspeed

Even Pitssburgh Steeler owner Dan Rooney pretty much thanked Obama for the Steelers’ victory las night…….that was disgusting.

Great game even though the Cardinals got beat.

  13. Katie says:

What scares me is that the Obamamanics don’t even think. They assume that it will be all rosy from now on. It is too bad that their God won’t give them the moon and instead give them a world more dangerous than the one he took over.

  14. DD2 says:

Hey there women, long time no see.
Oh, so there are finally some of the deluded voters who are finally seeing that he isn’t the Messiah after all? And since he hasn’t walked on water or healed the sick or raised the dead since he’s been in office for less than a week, now all of a sudden they are dissatisfied with him?
This doesn’t surprise me, I expect it to drop much more in the coming weeks. The liberal media and to an extent Obama himself sold us some shabby goods. What’s his idea for getting us out of this economic mess? Putting us deeper in debt and expanding government. Just print up more money! Yeah that’s the answer, and in a year it will be a valuable as Monopoly money.
I guess that the people that say at home and didn’t vote got what they deserved. But we got it as well.
The PC Libs that were just itching to vote for the Magic Negro put this guy in office and now look at the mess we are in! A bunch of Clinton crooks and has beens all over the White House again. Well, you put him into office, now we all have to deal with the consequences.

  15. Gayle says:

Not much left to say after reading DD2′s comment, Angel, except you are right on target as always! :)

  16. z says:

If you had just ONE more picture of THE ONE, I was going to have to click off your site! I think my psyche’s only allowing maybe 2 in a day!!
Gayle’s right on every point! (great, dude!)

  17. David says:

*sigh* Yes, there is a cure, but in allowing the lemmings to effect the cure, they may force many of the rest of us off the cliff with them…

  18. Always On Watch says:

Check out THIS MANISFESTATION of the Cult of Obama!

  19. Wingless says:

I was sure that after he was elected & slowly people realize he can’t part the seas, walk on water etc that the love-fest would end – to some extent that’s beginning to happen – but still not fast enough…

Scarier than Obama & his policies is the fact that America just elected a president due in large part, if not exclusively due to his celebrity… I’m pragmatic enough to realize there is a certain segment that votes based on the ‘Would I like to have a beer with this guy’-factor, what I did NOT expect is the sheer volume and power of this segment!

I’ve questioned SO MANY Obama supporters on why they support the man and the VAST VAST VAST MAJORITY (all but one) quote rheotrical yipyap (OSupporter: he’s going to CHANGE…A: what Changes? OSupporter: he’s going to stop WAR… A:like Clinton avoided fighting Al Qaeda?)…
THe Obama supporters I’ve spoken to offer little in ways of concrete information and no details – and they are oddly at ease with that – as if Obama is a trustworthy friend of many years (that’s the scariest part! Whatever happened to the Great Western tradition of Self-Criticism & Reflection?! (are we moving towards that other tradition of compacency, blind allegiance, & the total cessation of criticism & debate?!)

If it’s this easy to pull the wool over peoples eyes one wonders what will happen if a man with a more nefarious plan ran for office…
