Pope Benedict XVI and Anti-Semitism

Pope Benedict XVI on Wednesday met in the Vatican on Wednesday with a group of Palestinian Catholics, who presented him with traditional Palestinian scarf as a gift.
Pope accepts keffiyah as gift from Palestinian worshippers
At the end of the service, two youths from the group were brought to the pope and draped the checkered black-and-white scarf on his shoulders. Benedict chatted briefly with them while wearing the scarf, which an aide later removed.
Pius, who reigned from 1939 until his death in 1958, has been accused by some Jews of turning a blind eye to the Holocaust, a charge his supporters and the Vatican deny.

Who are they kidding?

Forgiving Bishops who deny the Holocaust.

Apologizing for Pius XII, Pius IX, and Queen Isabella?
Not cool.

Encouraging the beatification of supporters of genocide?

Papal approval of Durban II, a meeting whose sole purpose was to attack Israel and eventually make illegal even honest criticisms of Izzzzlam?

Not cool.

Leading a Church with a lonnnnnnnnnnnng history of abuse, and Antisemitism.
And now………..The keffiyah ?

Not cool.
Not cool at all.

Here are your ahem..”supporters”..NOT.

The keffiyah may have been worn by others in history but since the horrific Intifada, it is now used to express some twisted, pseudo nationalistic pride by Arabs and terrorist supporters— which, incidentally — includes honoring a terrorist like Arafat, who was never seen without one.

Shame on those Pale-stinian (as if there were such a group..) Christians. Giving the Pope the very symbol of those persecuting Christians in Israel and world wide.

With all due respect…Pssst. Pope Benedict.
Not that there’s anything wrong with wearing a towel on your head, aka, the current day equivalent of a swastika………
But come to think of it………Why not wear straitjacket; it would be much more approriate to represent the Arabs who wear those ahem…”scarves”.

It is the symbol of Izzzzzzzzlamic militancy and terror.
End of story.

The Pope of all people should be aware of how “the Jew” has become the personification and embodiment of all that frustrates the anti-semite.

Everything that makes the anti-semite feel powerless and impotent, not to mention insanely jealous.

After all….. Vicious and ferocious anti-Semitism exist in places where Jews do not even live.

In Christian “myth”, Judas, is the betrayer of God’s son, and twas “the Jewish mob” who demanded his crucifixion.
God killers.

Of course in Issssssssssslam, the Jew is the enemy of God, the equivalent of the anti- Christ.
Issslam ascribes to “the Jew” all sorts of malevolent supernatural powers, and the nastiest evil intentions.

Check out Sayyyyyid Q-utb, who even as far back as the 1950′s, blamed “Jewish wickedness” and deception from keeping Musssslims estranged from the truth of their faith.

SHAME ON YOU Pope Benedict.
For donning the symbol of sheer inhuman, sadistic TERROR.

Not cool.
Not cool at all.

    proves my point a 100 times over….
there are no GODLY people, just people OF GOD!!!!!!(or trying)
How absolutely brainless of the Pope and his advisors, a tad of research would have ENLIGHTENED the man, that you can never trust a Palistinigazalian.
BTW..wasn’t it a “you know what” that shot the last Pope..case closed!!!

  3. MK says:

Yeah, he of all people ought to know better, is he getting his news from the MSM or something. Hasn’t heard of the christians who were turfed out of Bethlehem by those tolerant palis.

  4. David says:

Yeh, I’ve read some folks who’re ragging on Benedict for accepting the thing (though a very few mins later one of his aides walked away with it). The correct tack to take was what I assume he did and hope he (oe one of his aides) will: accept the gift graciously and privately counsel the givers on appropriate gifts vs, inappropriate gifts.

  5. Gayle says:

Ye Gads, Angel! I imagine Obama would accept it too. The world has turned into a loony bin with the loons in charge. :(

  6. dmarks says:

The best way for him to handle it would have been to quietly accept the hate-rag, and go home and use it for Papal Charmin.

  7. Dinah Lord says:

There’s no excuse for this – the only acceptable thing for the Pope to have done is throw the damn rag on the ground and step on it.

  8. Zeeva says:

Unreal. That is as bad or worse as the Pope during WW11 that never said a peep or lift a finger to help the poor Jews while the Nazi’s slaughtered and mutilated them!

They say history repeats itself. I never thought I would live to see this day, but can you imagine how my Dad feels after having been in a labor camp in Germany?

He said it will happen again. I think he would know – he lived it before and survived to tell about it.

So many useful idiots, Angel. It’s truly a shame. I’m proud of anyone who is brave enough to speak out.
