Spring Fever!

Sweet friends….
Do ya feel feel more energized, upbeat, and errr…. somewhat distracted?
Yup yup………You may be suffering from Spring Fever~!

Spring is nature’s way of saying, “Let’s party!”
Robin Williams

Plants are leapin out of the ground.
Days are longer, weather warmer. Ahhhhhhhh.

Does the more time you spend outside on a sunny spring day put you in a better mood? ..C’mon. Admit it.
People ask me what I do in winter when there’s no baseball. I’ll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.
Rogers Hornsby

Life is the greatest bargain—we get it for nothing.
Yiddish proverb
Whatcha waitin for?
Git out there and enjoy!!

FBI Terrorist Watchlist Plus Complaints Equal ACLU…
No shortage of complaints against the FBI but a serious lack of gratitude for the thankless work they do. It’s not just luck that we haven’t been attacked since 9/11.

I’ve experienced a bit of your winter, i sure hope your spring is the exact opposite Angel. Makes me shiver thinking back to that short encounter.

one thing about having pretty fabulous weather all year long is you don’t really appreciate the Spring coming!
I’m a cold weather girl, but it IS nice to have it a tad warmer here in LA.
Lovely blog, thanks for the pretty pictures! xx

It’s almost 90 here today in sub-rural South Carolina. Spring comes and goes quickly and burns into a loooooong summer. It’s not like when I lived in Maine; summer came & went quickly and became a quick fall that became an intolerably long winter. I tend to always go from one extreme to another….

Muslim Demographics…
Watch the video to the end and weep. Comments? Even though Janet Napolitano who is in charge of Homeland Security and John McCain who could have been US President, think the September 11, 2001 hijackers came across the Canadian border……

On April 24th, 2009, the Average American ventured forth from his simple abode, dressed in shorts and a tee-shirt. With a balmy 87 degrees, one could actually be fooled into believing in global warming. I won’t be tricked into planting the garden just yet folks, I KNOW we still have several weeks with a high potential for frost most every night. Memorial Day weekend will be soon enough, and even then, we run the risk of needing a second planting if we guess wrong on the weather. Still, I have to admit, it was a beautiful day!

Oh Miss Angel, you got the spring fever bad! Afraid to get my hopes up here just yet - last year we had snow on May 5th!
April 26th, 2009 at 1:27 pm
Autum, my favorite season because it brings winter and I don’t have to work the gardens for a few months. Spring is my second favorite season because everything is so beautiful but it means a lot of work for people who run huge gardens. It also brings the dreaded Texas summer, because it gets so hot here, but hey… any weather is better than none at all. Right?

We all know Arlen Specter switched parties because of an upcoming election. I just never thought I’d see someone like Sam Brownback betray his pro-life stand because he may be running for governor of Kansas.
