Weight Loss Tips

UGH. More tips on weight loss. Ha.![]()
Well here we go again.
Let me know what ya think sweet readers..and heck…eat up! Heh![]()

As Thomas Jefferson once said:
We never repent of having eaten too little.
Then again. Peter De Vries once said:
Gluttony is an emotional escape, a sign something is eating us. Uh oh.![]()
At least these are tips on what To and not what NOT TO eat. Heh.

1-Caffeine:
It raises blood pressure and the heart rate, which can be bad for people with heart problems. But some studies have shown that caffeine speeds the metabolism and supresses the appetite.
10 Bad Foods That Help With Weight Loss

2- Peanut Butter:
Actually, people who eat peanut butter are more likely to lose weight and keep it off than people following a regimented, low-fat diet..

3-Coconut:
Although it contains saturated fat, coconut oil can actually increse your metabolism and help you lose weight…

4-Cheese:
Cheese is crucial to weight loss because of its calcium properties. Studies have showed that obese adults who eat diets high in dairy lose signifiantly more weight than those who do not…

5-Sorbet:
Even if you are dieting, you shouldn’t have to go without dessert! Unlike ice cream, sorbet doesn’t contain fat, but it still has a creamy taste.

6-Nuts:
Nuts may be loaded with fat, but it’s the good kind of fat. They also have plenty of ‘filling’ fiber. So it may be worth it to snack on almonds, peanuts or cashews instead of potato chips or cookies.

7-Eggs:
Research has proven that eating eggs in the morning are good for you since they are packed with protein, which will keep you fuller longer.

8- Meat:
You don’t have to shy away from red meat just because you are on a diet. A lean cut of steak has about the same amount of saturated fat as chicken.

9-Bread.
Oh no, not bread. It’s filled with carbs, right? Well, high-quality bread filled with fiber, minerals and vitamins is actually low on the glycemic index - meaning it won’t cause the spike in blood sugar that can lead to weight gain.

10-Gum!:
It can stick to your dental work and ruin your teeth if you chew the sugary kind, but a professor of nutrition at the University of Rhode Island believes the act of chewing gum suppresses the appetite and stimulates the metabolism.

If you want to look young and thin, hang around old fat people.
Jim Eason![]()

You have to stay in shape. My grandmother, she started walking five miles a day when she was 60. She’s 97 today and we don’t know where the hell she is.

Soooooo manga manga.
Have an amazing weekend sweet friends..(unless ya made other plans!) Heh.

Awww…I’ve given up on the fight. I’d rather die slightly fat and happy then thin and angry because I’m hypoglycemic from not eating.
My secret? Good beer, preferably hard to come by English Ale. Keeps me nice and full…except when I’m at work.
Have a great weekend yourself!

You certainly make shedding pounds look appetizing. This is a great post because it illustrates the fact that you don’t need to limit yourself to phony diet shakes or cabbage soup to get into the best shape of your life. Thanks for taking the time to put this together.

LOL! That last cartoon was a scream! I’ve always heard that Swiss cheese was very low in fat and I LOVE it. When I waited tables we served a raspberry or a lemon sorbet between courses. That seems like a lifetime ago, but now I couls use some…

How DARE you do a post on weight loss! heh
Actually, everything you heard yesterday was wrong and the opposite is true today.
Coffee is good for you and helps reduce heart problems. Said with coconut oil.
Beef (4 oz servings) is good for you. Oily fish are good for you. Chocolate (dark and sugar free) is good for you.
Yes, certain breads, whole grains, low fats, are very good for you.
Almonds are high in calcium, did you know that? A handfull each day has protein and calcium, good for your bones.

I used to be to thin…until I fell and hit my head leaving my physically unable to work a 60 hour day. Now I’m less thin, but not overly fat be any means. I still exercise in smaller amounts, but do so enough to keep the weight off. Hitting my head already made me dumb. I have no desire to FAT and DUMB, right?
