While the sun sets on another day, softly in the west,
Please set a special place aside this Thanksgiving for our country’s best.
For the selfless men who give their all,
Who protect our Flag…and never let it fall.
Somehow, some way.. Let them know we care,
That we’re right behind them, when they’re Over There.
Our precious soldiers are great in every way
They are the best of the best, …the Pride of the USA.

5 - Christmas lights = large carbon footprint.

3 - Winter lull in global-warming hype.
2 - Daycare centers are closed.

Thanks for coming by ….you mentioned you hadn’t seen me for a while…I’m sorry I haven’t been around. Since Mr Z died last month, it’s been all I can do to visit anybody; I can do my own blog because I control it but my wick’s pretty short and I’m just not ready to hear everybody else’s information/take/rants!

Happy Thanksgiving to all Americans.
Liberals have a lot to be thankful for. Our country has given them a bounty of wealth that they choose to plunder for unions, bureaucrats, big government, federal programs used for partisan political campaigning, pork, NGOs, carbon credits, bogus research grants and political donations.
On this holiday they should think about the fact that our treasury is not an endless money tree and the funds used to pay for bloated bureaucracy and leftwing corruption has to be produced by the private sector.

On # 5, if you go LED instead of traditional bulb you save a ton on your electric bill and conserve electricity.

After it’s all over-for another year–looking back, we can still count our blessings, what we can be thankful for (the half-full glass of water). The people controlling our government–for not much longer, we must hope–will try to take more and more of what makes us happy and great away from us. Allied with them are the Islamics who carry a message from Hell, where their progenitor, the demon of Makkah and Yathrib squats on the coals.
There cannot ever be such a thing as a “Muslim-American.” The two value-systems do not jibe and cannot be made to jibe, no matter what the wading bird stalking about our White House tries to inflict on us. The sooner more Americans learn that, the sooner we will be able to start winning the war against that foreign ideology that is trying to make us into its inferiors.
