A US federal bill, “Federal Prohibition of Female Genital Mutilation of 1995″ was passed in 1996-SEP.
Section 273.3 of the Canadian Criminal Code protects children who are ordinarily resident in Canada, (as citizens or landed migrants) from being removed from the country and subjected to FGM.
Needless to say the U.N.and Unicef does what it always does. Nothing.
They claim the solution is …is to trigger awareness through education of the public…..yea right.

1951-JUN-23: They stated that female circumcision is desirable because it curbs “nature” (i.e. se-xual drive among women). It stated that medical concerns over the practice are irrelevant.
1981-JAN-29: The Great Shei–kh of Al-A–zhar (the most famous University of the Izzzlamic World) stated that parents must follow the lessons of Moha–mm-ed and not listen to medical authorities because the latter often change their minds. Parents must do their duty and have their daughters circumcised.
THIS IS ISLAM.

i watched a documentary on this years ago probably on history channel. anyway, they just made it seem like just another rite of passage like the piercings they do or the tattooing. it makes me sick and i don’t know how a mother could hold her daughter down for that.

Considering the fact that the profit or puppeteer, mohammed (Mo, if you like), was a raging pedophile taking a 9 year old girl as a wife, probably speaks volumes for why the muslims treat women this way. Add in the unverified account of how Mo died…at the hands of a Jewish slave woman’s poisoning of his lamb and you can see the outright hatred of women that muslim men have.
Like I’ve always said…it’s NOT a religion, it’s a violent political ideology started by a raving pedophilic woman-hating madman.
I’ve often heard that the act of rape is actually one of control - well, if that is true than that explains why women have been “raped” by this false religion ever since the 7th century when Mo sat on a boulder and penned the Qur’an.

Abdolutely terrible, isn’t it? In Egypt around 2/3 of women are subjected to sexual harrassment, whether they are covered or not.
I have read Waris Dirie’s book in which she tells her experience on FGM. It’s terrible. There ar eno words to describe how I felt, so I can only imagine how she felt.

Good question, where are all of the feminist, where is their outrage of this, or is out of policitcal correctness they are silent. I think it is the later, for in their minds, which are just as swisted as the monsters who mulitilate their own daughters, they can justify this.
