Breaking News ..er..Accusations:
You heard it here first:
Lebanon accused Israel on Sunday of using banned weapons against Lebanese civilians in its military offensive against the country. President Em-ile Lah-oud said Israeli forces have fired “phosphorus incendiary bombs, which are a blatant violation of international laws, …against Lebanese civilians.”
Use of incendiary weapons against civilian targets was banned by Protocol III of the 1980 Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons.
Convention on Prohibitions
Protocol III on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Incendiary Weapons prohibits, in all circumstances, making the civilian population as such, individual civilians or civilian objects, the object of attack by any weapon or munition which is primarily designed to set fire to objects or to cause burn injury to persons through the action of flame, heat or a combination thereof, produced by a chemical reaction of a substance delivered on the target. ”
Burning civilians alive?..Not exactly Israel’s M.O.

“White Phosphorus (WP), known as Willy Pete, is used for signaling, screening, and incendiary purposes. White Phosphorus can be used to destroy the enemy’s equipment or to limit his vision. It is used against vehicles, petroleum, oils and lubricants (POL) and ammunition storage areas, and enemy observers. WP can be used as an aid in target location and navigation. It is usually dispersed by explosive munitions. It can be fired with fuze time to obtain an airburst. White phosphorus was used most often during World War II in military formulations for smoke screens, marker shells, incendiaries, hand grenades, smoke markers, colored flares, and tracer bullets. ”
White phosphorus is not banned by any treaty to which the United States is a signatory. Smokes and obscurants comprise a category of materials that are not used militarily as direct chemical agents.
The United States retains its ability to employ incendiaries to hold high-priority military targets at risk in a manner consistent with the principle of proportionality that governs the use of all weapons under existing law.
The use of white phosphorus or fuel air explosives are not prohibited or restricted by Protocol II of the Certain Conventional Weapons Convention (CCWC), the Convention on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons which may be Deemed to be Excessively Injurious or to have Indiscriminate Effects. ”

I tend to agree that it is not the M.O. of Israel to do that but then again it is the responsibility of President Em-ile Lah-oud to prove that happened and not just make accusations. Burning civilians alive is more of an M.O. of Hezbulla and Hamas not of Israel.
Actually I was talking to several soldiers on the matter quite awhile ago about “White Phosphorus” and I was told that it is used in combat, in fact what it had essentially replaced was the use of Napalm which was used in Vietnam. Napalm was much more of a scattering effect and was not as precise and could hit more than the attended targeted group.

Remember now Angel, it is only an affront to human decency when Israel does it. When the a-Rabs send explosive missiles into Israeli cities and towns, well . . . that’s acceptable behavior. Oh, and did I mention that there wouldn’t be so many “civilian casualties” in Lebanon if the a-Rabs were real men and stopped hiding behind women, children, and old people. I’m trying to figure this out, so you can offer me help if you wish. These “men” who join hezbollahashit — don’t they want those 72 virgins? If so, then I say stop hiding behind the skirts of women and meet the Israelis head on — out in the open, if you will.

Probably a bigger problem than this phosphorous propaganda is that if you blow up a Hezbollah militant, chances are his weapon is blown far away from his dead corpse. And wallah! It becomes another civilian death when reported by the supporters of Hezbollah.

They can say what they want and it won’t change a thing. Israel has the right to defend itself, and Israel doesn’t give a flying fig what anyone else says. I’m sure they are enjoying the fact that we are not telling them to try and negotiate, but if we did, I don’t think they would listen. Israael has the cajones to stand behind it’s beliefs and to fight for the right to exist, unlike the moonbat liberals in this country.

Yeah, Lebanon has room to talk. Hording terrorist and firing at a minimum of 100 rockets into civilian area Israel.

I seen today on the news 1/2 of the hezbollah force was removed, but the 100 plus rockets from them continue.
I wonder what Lebanon will do when the hezbollah is removed. Can they maintain themselves without the terrorist? I guess we will see.

I heard the most ridiculous guy on Sean Hannity’s show today about how Israel should be restrained in its response. He tried to say that Hezbollah’s stated goals weren’t to destroy Israel. I yelled at the radio. I just read in their own public platform that is their stated, public goal. Hannity and the other guest set the psycho guy straight.

I met a man who had a WP grenade explode
