“The UN humanitarian chief accused Hez-bollah late Monday of “cowardly blending” among Lebanese civilians and causing the deaths of hundreds during two weeks of cross-border violence with Israel.

The militant group has built bunkers and tunnels near the Israeli border to shelter weapons and fighters, and its members easily blend in among civilians….

During that visit he condemned the killing and wounding of civilians by both sides, and called Israel’s offensive “disproportionate” and “a violation of international humanitarian law..

“Consistently, from the Hezbollah heartland, my message was that Hezbollah must stop this cowardly blending … among women and children,” he said. “I heard they were proud because they lost very few fighters and that it was the civilians bearing the brunt of this. I don’t think anyone should be proud of having many more children and women dead than armed men.”

He’s the ahem…official UN humanitarian chief …(er..what exactly IS a humanitarian chief?)

So, another self proclaimed “expert” (on who knows what) finally criticizes Hez-bollah?

Oh wait, but in the next sentence, before exhaling he indicts Israel (yet again) for their offensive, which is “disproportionate” and “a violation of international humanitarian law.” But, of course…what was I thinkin?

Any mention of the Hez-bullahbullah attacks and rockets that have killed 37 Israelis or the er…. abduction of two Israeli soldiers in a raid into Israel?

How’s that for violation of international humanitarian law eh?

And oh, lookie here…he fails to mention this as well.

Israel will allow aid airlifts to reach Lebanon as part of efforts to relieve a humanitarian crisis caused by its offensive against Hez-bollah guerrillas, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said on Tuesday.

Yea, we stingy Americans only forking over 15 mil. Imagine that.

Raise your hands if you can cite one A-rab country on Planet Earth who would allow any aid whatsoever to help mitigate the humanitarian crisis caused by their offensive against Israel?

By the way, Saudi Arabia already pledged $500 million to rebuild Lebanon, according to state media.
