Israel does not target the U.N. or civilians, Israeli government spokesman Eisen told Fox & Friends on Wednesday. “It was a very sad and regretful mistake, and we will do our utmost to inquire into how this happened,” she said.
Further complicating the situation is the rocky relationship between Israel and the United Nations.
Israel has long complained about the failure of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in southern Lebanon, accusing some peacekeepers of siding with Israel’s enemies.
In Oct. 2000, three Israeli soldiers were kidnapped by Hiz-ballah in a cross-border ambush that happened under the noses of United Nations peacekeepers.
And many Israelis harbor a deep distrust of the U.N. in general, given years of anti-Israeli resolutions, including the controversial 1975 “Zionism equals racism” resolution..
And Kofi claims it was a “deliberate” assault by Israel.
Can you play the “blame game”?
Sure you can. It’s simple.
It consists of one entity assigning responsibilly for an action or event to another entity.
The perks are you get to divert responsibility from yourself. But while this game is universally observed in children, mentally healthy adults tend to “outgrow” it.
Kofi and the entire A-rab world still sees the need for “He did it”, “She did it”..oh heck..THEY all did it!”

Sadly, I would not expect it in my reamining lifetime. For radical Muslims to say, “It’s my fault,” they have to point an accusitory finger at Allah. Think that will ever happed?

Awesome post and I love the pics ;)!!! To be honest as upset as I am with the UN it was hard for me to be too distraught when I heard about the 4 UN workers. I would hope this would be their wakeup call to the danger of appeasing terrorists but no, its just an opportunity to blame Israel.

According to the following I think that Kofi Annon is the culpable one since he ordered those 4 to stay there. If Kofi didn’t want anything to happen to his chronies he could have told them to leave.

I recntly posted a bit about the UN and asked the question about Bolton: ‘Why isn’t he stomping on Kofi’s guts?’ If Bolton is the reform bulldog he is supposed to be, then I would expect him to be on the air everyday announcing the latest scandal coming from Kofi’s reign.
I want to see Bolton pull a Kruschev, take off his shoe, and bang on the table when anyone condemns Israel or criticizes the US for anything. Why not? If W won’t call Islamo-wackos, Islamo-wackos, then Bolton is the guy. He has no skin in the game. The UN is the right place to go sideways on any country that says stupid things about the US and our allies.

I heard that one of men killed left emails talking about Hezbollah within feet of their position. Yet the UN refuses to show proof that they say they have that Israel hit them on purspose. Time will tell, I hope.
