Open Trackback Weekend to PondeR

There came a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.
Anais Nin
One doesn’t discover new lands without consenting to lose sight of the shore for a very long time.

It doesn’t work to leap a twenty-foot chasm in two ten-foot jumps.

I like this one: “It doesn’t work to leap a twenty-foot chasm in two ten-foot jumps.”
It certainly wouldn’t work for me - but I can’t leap ten feet, let alone 20 - can you? So I suppose it should read, at least for me: “It doesn’t work to leap a twenty-foot chasm in four five-foot jumps!”
I think perhaps I’m taking the entire thing to literally. I get it, I promise!

Why is that TMH’s Bacon Bits, you gonna vote Liberal because you think that they will do any better? A none vote for conservative equals a additional vote for Liberals, don’t be a fool just because they don’t get every cotten picken issue 100% accurate. That kind of thinking is just how we ended up With Willie J. Clingon. Come on pull your head out of the sand and be real.

Phil: I’ll try to ignore the cheap insults, because you obviously despise the message and lack argument. We got Clinton because the GOP put up a weak, blah, candidate (Bob Dole) out of stupid -next in line -loyalty(now this great potential leader is pushing VIAGRA)
Instead of accusing me of voting in a way you can’t possibly know look at these facts. (You obviously didn’t read my article)
http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-oe-jacoby29jul29,0,7345849.story?coll=
“According to our new poll, voters feel that Congress is not doing “a good job at solving the problems that are important” to them — and 44% might just stay home from the polls or vote against their member of Congress as a result. ”
The point I make in the article you didn’t bother to read, is that the GOP better get its act together on this issue, or the Clinton we both hate will indeed return to the Whitehouse.
July 29th, 2006 at 9:12 am
The Mooooslims can’t be trusted no matter where they are from, you don’t want to turn your back on them cuz you never know what they got planed those sneaky little sand camel jockeys.
July 29th, 2006 at 9:13 am
I should have added that I wrote that article for TMH bacon bits.
July 29th, 2006 at 9:18 am
Say DL was I talking to you above I don’t think so I was talking to TMH’s Bacon Bits not you. And also I was not referring to the 1996 elections I was referring to the 1992 elections.
Before you keep it up with your polls, I don’t care about polls ok no conservative ever did, you sound like a liberal in conservative clothing, only liberals go by those dang polls anyway.
July 29th, 2006 at 9:23 am
Actually DL you are disgusting for you to take a cheap shot at a War Hero like Bob Dole so anything you say from here on out is just trash. got it.
July 29th, 2006 at 10:05 am
Phil:
You’re right of course - Why do I get the feeling that you are always right. I suppose you voted for Kerry because of his war hero status? Recognizing Bob Dole’s lack of attractiveness had nothing to do with his being a war hero. If you think a bit - he was beaten by a draft dodger.
Didn’t you get the connection about the TMH baconbits article? It was I that wrote it -I’ll simplify - when you were attacking TMH it was my article posted on the TMH website you were responding to.
You might try reading it and responding in a reasonble manner, rather than utilizing the weapons of the left by attacking the messenger
July 29th, 2006 at 10:14 am
First off I didn’t vote for John Fword Kerry, secondly I voted for Dole, thirdly your excuse for stating that the conservative party has lost before it even got started just because of one issue like Immigration and your willingness to allow the Liberal party a jump up from that it sounds to me like you listen to Michael Savage too much, that dude is a nut case.

This blog just keeps getting richer and richer. Great quotes. I’m afraid, however, no such luck summoning a wise quote to offer back - maybe because it’s Saturday and I just suffered through two big grueling exams yesterday, who knows.
So here is my perennial wisdom (well, maybe not perennial, more like for the hour): He who stand on toilet high on pot.
